Wolf wandered into the park, eyes watching his feet. He knew his way, he had lived nearly 13 years in the non-forgiving city, Wolf definitly knew the way. He sat at the edge of the pond, and his feet touched the surface of the water. It created a ripple, which mimicked the ripple of memories. Wolf lied down, watching the stars. He remembered the times near the pond, not paying attention to anything else, the sounds he heard were only the echoes of the memories resurfacing.

Amnity smiled as well, the blush still on her face. "Those Tibetans were really nice and welcoming. We should visit there again." She paused, then chuckled a bit. "And I still say I got to the summit of mount Everest first!" She retorted. "You cheated!"

Amnity looked over to where he was pointing, across the pond. She sat up, smiling. "Wolf! Hey!" She got up and waved.

Wolf was still staring at the stars, hands on his stomach. He murmured quietly. "Behind the door...should I open it for you?" Wolf then heard an ever-so-faint voice, and smelt an ever-so-faint scent. He sat up, and upon seeing Amnity he smiled a little and waved. "Hey Am! Hey Meph! How long's it been?" Wolf had a smile plastered on his face, but he wasn't so sure if it existed inside.

Wolf shook his head. "Not good at all. Humans have found out about immortals. Lycans, Vampires, and Tainted. Front page and all. Who knows what will happen next?" He shrugged. "It seems we are starting a comeback though. The lycans, I mean." Wolf smiled. "Well...How are you guys? You obviously did good without New York." He laughed a little.

Amnity followed after Mephlius, sitting on the other side of Wolf. She chuckled a bit. "Yeah...We have. But like they say, there's no place like New York. We kind of miss it. This place brings back a lot of good memories."

Wolf nodded, smiling. "There's alot of sayings about New York. And when you've spent enough time in a place, it always stirs up memories." He looked at Amnity, then Mephlius. "Me? Oh, I'm all right." Wolf pondered whether to mention his loneliness. "I've felt the effects of the recent events, but I'm okay. Met some other lycans." He didn't mention the fact that he even saw the alpha, because Amnity and Mephlius were hunters. "Well...Welcome back to New York!" Wolf laughed.

"Huh...?" Wolf then thought. "Oh...No..." He paused, not sure whether to mention that he wanted to 'meet' someone. Wolf scratched his head. "Well...Different topic, but my birthday is coming up." He smiled. "Thirteen... I've come quite a ways, living here in New York. How different I was when I first came here." Wolf looked at Amnity. "And we were the first people who we both met. At least, I think so. One heck of a meeting, don'tchya' think?"

Amnity laughed at the memory. She then looked over to Mephlius. "Yeah. When I first came to New york about a year and a half ago, the first person I met was Wolf." She looked back to Wolf, still laughing. "He attacked me and bit me. But we became friends after that. I was okay because of my grandfather's choker."

Wolf had a funny look on his face, which said 'Heh...Yeah...' And he said just that. "Heh...Yeah...That was quite a long time ago." Wolf looked at Mephlius to see what his reaction was. He laughed. "Isn't fate the strangest thing? Irony makes it all the better." Wolf was glad Mephlius took it so lightly.
