Ah, so all Commanders and body guard can have stacked hardwired systems, but only one broadside per squad can have hardwired. :-/
Broadsides need it way more, too, unfortunately.

yes indeed. the extra BS is amazing. and damn near needed since its gun is the most powerful in the army, but only shoots once. and it pisses me off when i miss lol

I whole-heartedly agree with you. 100%. sweatdrop

I have the most recent unless another has recently come out that I am, for some reason, unaware of.
Why do you ask? As far as I can tell (without my codex at hand) my recollection of the range was right. If I'm wrong, I'll be sure to re-read my codex through-and-through until I get it. I'm human. I make mistakes. wink

sms is 36"... isnt it?

Nope. Babbalui has it right. SMS is 24". 36" would be a long-barreled SMS, if you were using VDR/Forgeworld.

Broadsides already have 75% accuracy with railguns from the start. I run them with Targeting Arrays, but that's more for increasing the accuracy of the SMS than the railgun.

You're forgetting their railguns are twin-linked. Twin-linked BS3 hits 75% of the time.

Targeting array is very nice to have, but yeah broadsides do have a nice chance to hit. I don't fail very often with them. Maybe through penetration rolls I do fail, but I usually hit.

I've found Shas'O battlesuits with Stimulant Injectors to be incredibly tough opponents. Loaded with weapons, the multiple-firing upgrade, and the stimpack, it's hard-hitting and hard to damage.

I don't have my codex with me and I don't use SI, but what is its effect, pray tell?

feel no pain
and for [THE SAME COST AS SENSOR SPINES] it's a steal if it saves his skin

Too bad you can't add that to everyone for a more point heavy, but safer jumpsuit army. I tend to get stuck in close combat a lot. Mostly with farsight, but his bodyguard need a serious defense bonus, because they drop like flies and Farsight just sits there and laughs at them as he cuts everyone else to shreds. eek

I completely agree. DE, as much as you fight me, you ought to be used to FNP by this point. That said, Feel No Pain is absolutely my favorite USR in the game. Love, love, love, love, love it.

Van Evok, we don't list points around here. It's GWs rules to share the points of individual upgrades.

I find Stim Injectors to be the single most useful piece of Special Issue equipment, period. It's cheap, and it dramatically increases the survivability of your Shas'o or 'el, especially with the new wound allocation rules meaning that he is forced to take some saves from hails of small arms fire.
