I've just been helping my mom with getting rid of stuff. Going through things and getting rid of stuff from 20 years ago that's just...... lame. Very old christmas things.
D: But I'm sneezing like mad. x_x That and the catnip I'm growing are aggravating allergies. Ick.
But we've got two huge plastic tubs full of things, plus a medium sized box, and probably another tub full of largeish stuff. Whoo.
It gets so that you just kind of want to get rid of everything, after moving so much in a short period of time, and living in a small house.

I got to see my blankey though, from when I was a baby. <3 It's green and patchwork, with white and red striped patches, and it's got faded giraffes and zebras in it, and two HUGE holes in it. xD It's so faded. But it's my blankey. D: *Hugs it*
Weird to feel such love for an inanimate object, but I felt this weird swell of love for the thing.... Hm...

Bwa~ it's silly real life drama. I'm not particularly bent out of shape about it, though, because it's motivating me to get a job before the car gets registered. 3nodding I was putting it off before due to lack of transportation, but I'm sure I can make things work. whee heart
I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE THE GUILD STUFF THOUGH. It's nice to sit down and work on projects mindlessly for a few hours. Like today, from 9:30 (now) until 2:30, I'm going to be working on St Mungo's, the Ministry of Magic, and probably Hogwarts. Hogwarts especially needs some work, to make sign-ups and navigation easier. I just want to set everything up so it's easier to adjust things on the fly later when I have a busier schedule.
The ironic thing is that I know I'll be able to roleplay more and spend more time actually playing in the guild when I have a job. Right now projects keep distracting me and things are hectic as far as when Kat's home, when I am alone in the house so I can work on here, etc etc. xp
BLESS YOU. X3 It's nice to see our baby stuff. heart It's not odd to love it at all. I love the guild, and it's not even an object! xd

I don't have too much baby stuff though, just some things that went in my hair, my first pair of booties from the hospital (That were too small right away) a pair of moccasins, a pair of knit skate booties, and my two blankies (Besides some school things from when I was a kid)
D: My ex step-a*****e threw a bunch of my stuff out without my mom's consent. So, yeah.
xD At almost 22, I think I'd have an absolute fit if she tried to throw blankey out. >_> Besides the fact that the other one is completely intact and I can use it for my own kid someday. biggrin Whoo!

I have found that cleaning is much easier when I use it as breaks while working on projects. I clean for about 15 minutes and go back to work. xp heart
I'm going to move political canon information (I'm halfway done with a new, extended explanation of wizarding political parties) into a Ministry sticky I'll use for characters to register their affiliation. We're going to have an actual election in January (with characters submitting their votes via PM) that won't be fixed - the winner will play a big part in how the "guild plot" moves forward. So campaigning will be starting in the summer, probably, which should increase traffic to the Ministry subforum. I seriously need to expand it anyway, just as I'm expanding St Mungo's (I'm working on threads for each floor now.)
I can't believe it's May already. s**t, I have like a month to finish this stuff. xp Yay, deadline!
I love baby stuff, especially those babybooks people write up. It's so cute. gonk heart

I'm not sure how well an election would work though, and I'm not very confident about it at this time especially since it could effect the plot.
If there are more Death eater or more non-death eater characters, it could greatly effect things, without any thoughts of it being fixed in there at all.
xP I mean, I know not everything is worked out yet, but still, that's just a concern I have.
xD Cleaning goes so much slower than working on the computer though. Fifteen minutes of cleaning seems like an hour... where as fifteen minutes on the computer goes by in like, a minute. razz

Your concerns are valid. 3nodding But the "plot" now isn't so much of a plot as it is plans of what certain characters are looking to achieve. It's definitely up to chance and what other characters do.
I'm on the fence about a dueling system being put into place to keep battles fair. I don't want things to be as.. as crazy structured as they were before, because it causes so much stress. People aren't sure if they can let characters do things, I get worked up over getting certain things done in scenes and leave massive plotholes because of it, etc etc.
If the guild becomes pro-DE or non-DE, I would remain happy either way. Hell, if for example, it became pro-DE, I could buy another guild, copy/paste a lot of stuff, and the two guilds could go to war. It would be total chaos but it would be fun. whee
There is a plan B for the elections anyway though. But only if the situation REALLY calls for it.

Well, when it's between two different people, sure, unless it's like, you and Kat and you want to or whatever..... but I'd think if you were battlign with your own characters, it'd probably be for plot-ish reasons and there might not be no point?
But... something is a good idea. Considering the fact that people here have weird powers and they'd probably always want to win. :B

MAYBE WE SHOULD MAKE POKEMON CARDS FOR EACH CHARACTER. XD And create an uber complicated system of assigning powers and health and values.
..... xD Godfrey has 80 health, he has a move that can cause 50 damage, but his power goes down 1/3, and another lesser spell/power/attack that causes 20 damage straight up.

Godfrey would be fire type. So he'd be weak to water-type. rofl And Voldemort would be Psychic-type for sure. But uhm... Pokemon is complicated enough/broken enough as is. Like star cards that make Charizard a basic Pokemon, and LVL X cards that basically just rape face. Yup. Pokemon...
So liiiike... I dunno if I understand this voting thing. Like whoever wins the vote gets a main point in the plot... that doesn't necessarily mean it will be DE or non-DE, depending. Or are we talking D3 here? o-o
My ferret is giving me the stare-down... creeepy.
