"Nothing elaborate. I suggest we stay here and cover their retreat, once they reach the surface the tunnels will be collapsed and I will get us out. Leaving Twilight at a dead end and us in a safe place." He looks over to Hope. "I need you to pull the lever that collapses the tunnels. If I can't make it back, I will need someone to tell Dark what happened. Do you think you can do this?"

"I think hope will agree that under no circumstances will we let you die. i will help ward off the demons but will not leave you behind "

Hope blinked, her eyes widening. "W-what do you mean i-if you c-can't make it back..?" she asked, feeling agitated at the idea of Shade dying. "Y..you have to make it back..!" she said, agonizing at just the thought of Shade getting hurt in some way. Hope swallowed hard, quickly nodding in agreement with Frensa.

Shade smiles as if it were all a joke. "Don't worry too much about it. There's always the possibility, but I don't plan on dying here. I've recovered enough of my energy to make at least one jump through the shadows."

Hope's eyebrows pulled together a bit as she moved to hold the girl out and hand her to a random person who was evacuating. "B-but..w-what if something does happen to you..?" she asked quietly, looking up at him. "Wh-who'll save you i-if you make us leave..?" she asked, frowning. She didn't want to leave Shade.

Satisfied at Shades response frensa got out his bow and shot it at the exact point he was aiming. Perfect he thought.

"I'm sorry, but there really isn't time to argue. Please, I need you to go with them. If the tunnels are not sealed, then this will all be a wasted effort."Shade looks pleadingly into Hopes eyes. His own eyes a hypnotic silver hue. "You trused me to help you, now I need you to help me."

Hope ached, torn by the look in his beautiful eyes. She lowered her head sadly, unable to argue with him any furthur. "A-alright.." she murmured quietly,the pain she felt from her decision could be seen through the way she stood when had straightened herself up again.

After he said that he noticed it sounded bad and felt it might have made hope feel even worse. He got his bow ready and prepared to fight

Hope swallowed at Frensa's comment before looking up at Shade, quietly thinking for a moment before mustering up one of her sweet smiles. "I-I..I-I'm holding you to that promise, Shade..!" she gave a bit of a wave to them both before turning to run as fast as her weak body would allow to try and catch up with the group. All the while she prayed with all her heart that they would be alright.

He impatience finally overcoming her Twilight steps towards the hole shoving the demons out of her way. "Move, you worthless excuses for higher lifeforms. I'll finish this myself." Placing her hands on the rock blocking the bottom of the hole from the tunnel they are suddenly surrounded by an aura of heat. Her eyes go blacker than the darkest midnight and a cruel smile twists her features. Slowly the rock turns red from the immense heat and begins to melt. Bringing her hands up over her head she slams them down on the weakended stone, violently knocking it out of place and opening the way to the tunnels. "Come, little rats. Come out and play."

As Hope ran she suddenly felt freezing cold, trembling almost to the point that she couldn't go any furthur. But she remembered Shade and Frensa and all the lives that were at stake and managed to push forward, making sure everyone was out. Hope found the lever and stumbled over to it, pushing down with most of her weight like she was told. She prayed the two still left in the tunnel would be alright as she trembled from exaughstion and cold, watching with wide eyes as the tunnels started to collapse. She blinked and turned around to face a man who was starting to raise his voice towards her about leaving people in the tunnel, especially Shade. Hope backed up a little, her hands moving to cover her ears as more people joined in. She shut her eyes tightly, thinking Oh please be alright, oh please be alright, oh please be alright..! over and over as the abusive comments continued.

(x.x Indeed. I wonder, though, if I didn't make her pull the lever too soon..and if I should change the last bit. But if you think about it, wouldn't normal people be upset if someone just collapsed a cave on top of two people, especially if one was their leader? You would think so..x.x)
