Hope lightly sat down beside him, watching the fire too. At his comment she blinked and blushed a bit as she turned to look at him. "A-ahh..p-pardon me..?" she asked quietly, not entirely sure if she heard him correctly.

Vlad's mind was taken off his issues with Fan and his sister when her heard the door to their mother's bedroom creak open. They both turned their heads and saw their mother, tapping her foot impatiently and looking down at Angelic. She had a cup of water in her hand and she flipped it over, the result was a huge chunk of ice hitting the floor and shattering everywhere. "When I said I like my bverage cold, I didn't mean frozen, Angel," She said.

Hope blinked, her blush starting to fade away. "O-oh.." she murmured before slowly shaking her head. "N-no, I don't work.." she said quietly as her tail lightly curled behind her.

hmm i dont really need a cleaner but having her around would definably have its benefits

"Oh, hello, Fan, back for more food?" Their mother said, coughing somewhat in between her words. She returned to looking down at Angelic, who rubbed the back of her head neverously. "I'm sorry, mom," She managd to say after a moment of akward silence.

"Nonsense, stick around, I insist," Their mother said, coughing some more, this time she actually managed to cough up a few droplets of blood. Vlad had jumped from his chair and helped her to the comfy chair in the corner. Angelic just stood there, mortified.

"coughing up blood is definably not good have u been taking that medicine i gave u?" he asked
in his haste he bumped the table dropping the key to the tower on the floor.

Anglic knew all to well what was going to happen and not a single pill in the world was going to help her now. Angelic looked down and saw Fan's key, she picked it up and looked at it for a second. She didn't want to be alone when her mother's time came, sure she had Vlad, but there was no doubt in her mind that he would distant himself from her and close up when their mother died and Fan was the only good friend she had at the moment. She looked up to see if anyone was looking when no one was she stashed it in the frozen soup quietly.
Vlad
He was shocked at Fan's question, he had given his mother medicine while he went out? Vlad now felt alittle terrible that he was so harsh on the mage, but not so much to apologize. "No, I had Vlad deliever it to one of the farmers' son while you and Angelic were out, the poor boy's father hasn't been feeling well either," Their mother had answered Fan. While Vlad was trying to recall when exactly did the erand happened, he felt a little viel slip under his hand, secretly. "Isn't that right, Vlad?" His mother pipped up, looking at him.

he was starting to worry.
he didnt want angelic the only girl hes ever loved to have her mother die while he could do something to save her.
"hold on i might have some more" he said
he rummaged in his robes trying to find any hint of medicine.
"damb" he cursed realizing he had none left.
"Angelic i need your help i need any and all of your spices or herbs right now"
i cant believe im going to try and make a remedie here and now. even if she had the right things if i made even a small mistake" he thought.

Angelic nodded quietly and started to rumage through hatever spices they had left. It was only a handful, but she still brought it to him. "This is all we have, I'm sorry if we don't have enough for anything," She said, looking at her mother who just rolled her eyes and smiled happily to her.
