With his opponent fighting for balance during the assult Sol could see his chance. For the first two thrusts of the rapier he tried to sidestep while moving in. Parrying the third thrust with his own blade with a strong swing he hoped to deliver a fierce enough blow to the sword in order to knock it out of his grip. His best way to silently get rid of him would be to use his head, literally, but he would have to make sure that he was disarmed.

What's happening is somehting that Bo and I have been planning to do since I first made this thread last summer before it failed. Thankfully, with the support of the people here in the Guild, it's staying alive long enough for us to finally do this. What you could do is help the cleanup team over at the hole, though. This one is all me and Bo.
Felix knew he was done for when he felt his sword leave his grip. he looked at the Fire Prince, "You will not succeed, Sol. You may have beaten me, but you will not beat Ky!"
Speaking of, the Lightning Prince had just left his father's quarters, making sure that he was doing fine during his slight illness. His father was in bed sick with the flu, and his mother was currently in the territory of their only allies, the Kingdom of Water (Duh, it only makes sense that they'd be allied. Water's dead scared of Lightning dure to natural reactions. Luckily, we are quite easy to get along with if you're the right people.) getting sone well-needed rest, leaving Ky temorarily in charge of the Kingdom. he walked back to his room and looked through his wardrobe just to pass time, waiting for Felix or any of the others to deliver news to him.

As Felix spoke Sol had already grabed him by the collar of his shirt. "We'll just see about that." He said as he pulled him forward, while at the same time slamming his head down. He was using the metal headband on his forehead to deliver a blow in order to knock Felix out cold. Tossing him aside agaist a wall he wiped the blood off the headband. With Felix out of the way there was nothing he needed to worry about. Searching Felix's pockets he hoped to find a key, why search for the store room when he could simply steal this man's uniform and spare himself the trouble.
Outside of the city, Sagiri and Mizuki watched as the people began to investigate the cause of the earthquake. They not only were watching the guards, but also were monitoring to make sure nobody else got near it from the outside. They couldn't allow anyone to interfeare with their boss's plan now. When the deed was acomplished Sol would give them the signal to move in. That was the problem with this task. Getting inside the city would be easy, escaping after murdering the royal family on the other hand was going to be a little more difficult.

Felix did not make a sound as he was hit, nor thrown, but he was still breathing...if slowly.
Ky changed back into his Order uniform, if only to make himself feel more comfortable, grabbed the Fuuraiken for more comfort, and walked to the throne room, admiring the chair that his father normally occupied...the same one that he would occupy as soon as his father stepped down.

As he took the key sol grinned and walked into the room Felix had come from. The key opened one of the lockers, in which he found the uniform that belonged to the now unconscious officer. Quickly he threw it on, hiding the Fuuenken by wrapping it in bandage. After dawning the disguise he proceeded to head toward the passage which he had been informed of. By taking it he bypassed the streets and at least one encounter that he would have ended up with if he didn't.
It was about five minutes before Sol had fully traversed the small passageway, slowly pushing the wall at the end. It opened up into what appeared to be a the outer foyer, through a false wall. The coast was clear for him to leave and he slipped out and moved the wall back. Judging from the fact that the prince had not left the Hheadquarters, and was not inside while he was there, he could only assume that he was somewhere here at the palace.

Ky had exited the throne room and began walking towards the kitchens to ask the cook what dinner was this evening. He stopped short, however, when he thought he heard something click. Thinking it was just one of the servants entering or exiting a room, he conitnued on to the kitchens.

As he shut the entrance he quietly entered the castle, He needed to get to the king's chambers. Sagiri had informed him of the king's illness, it would make this task all the easier. Sprinting through the halls he was surprised at the lack of guards. Looks like the entrance made a bigger impression than I thought it would. With no interference he made it to the kings chambers with surprising speed. With a quick motion and sense of urgency he opened the door and rushed in.

Ky Kiske V, the current King of the Kingdom of Lightning, sat up as quickly as he could when the man rushed in. "What's wrong, soldier? where is my son if you're here?"
Ky left the kitchens, the pork chops that were being prepared at this moment now on his mind. He decided to return to his father and ask him what he would prefer for his dinner tonight.

Adding an exasperated tone to his voice he began to try convincing the king to take shelter in the chamber below the chapel. "My liege, The city is under attack. You must take shelter. They've already breached the walls of the city. I was sent to be your bodyguard. We must hurry, they are on route to the palace as we speak." He said in an urgent tone, acting as if he was exhausted from running. He even surprised himself at how well this was going.

Daylem walked to the wall. He looked around and tried to find any one that did this.

The king nodded and slowly got out of bed. "I suspect that my son sent you here to escort me while he leads the charge, then? Alright. But you must help me...this flu hit me hard. I'm not sure how well i can walk."
Ky was walking to his father's room when one of the other guards ran up to him. "Commander! Captain Felix has been found knocked out on the changing room! We suspect that someone from the attacking party snuck into headquarters and took out Felix to gain access to our files. We've got him in the medical room right now, if you want to check up on him."
Ky looked shocked, then nodded, running off with the guard. his father would have to wait.

Sol nodded at the king's words. "That is precisely the case my liege, he does not want to take any chances and has ordered the defence of the city be the highest priority." He said as he aided the king to his feet. The hidden emergency shelter and castle escape route was in the back room of the palace chapel. It would be there that the deed would be done, and the feable peace that has held this land together, would dissolve.
Meanwhile Mizuki was beginning to get restless, she was never as patiant as any of the other three and hated waiting. She always wondered how Sagiri or Kate could just stand around without anything to do and not care. It just didn't make sence. That's why she she left the lands of water, the people were far too layed back. The sight of the lone guard leaving to inspecr the outer sideof the wall posed a good target, one that she wished that she did not have to pass up on. To move against him would give away both her's and Sagiri's positions.
