Allen: Also, I don't serve under people who sleep with their colleagues.

Storm rolled her eyes.
"See now you are just druging up excuses. What is it that so offends, you about me?"

Allen: Probably it's the fact that you don't seem to think very highly of the lives of your crew. You've sent two men of your crew to their death within five minutes of meeting me. It's not exactly the safest job. And besides, Kibo pays me quite well.

Storm glanced around.
"Crew? I see no crew around, save Hantore. Those 'men' as you fondly refer to them as, are slaves their lives belong to me, to spend as I see fit. My crew consists of Hantore, Zia, Maida and myself. Now I wouldn't want to go sending us to our deaths so quickly, now would I?"
She was smiling again.

Storm laughed at that.
"My dear boy, you seem to have underestimated my willies somewhat, if you think those three would."

Allen: Well, once again, until you can prove me otherwise, I can classify you as nothing more than an average fighter.
He shrugs indifferently.

"Much to your painful dimise, should you ever cross me."
Storm shrugged her wonderful Gaelic shrug that means everyinting and nothing.
"Of course, all this supposing that I care to go hand to hand with them. Which I never will. Or at least, not with the crow girls."

Storm shook her head.
"You are still a boy. Talk is cheap. Talk keeps people alive. More battles are won with words and quills then with swords and centuries."
She grimenced.
"Much to my Matron's displeasure. She was never one for talk; I was always her envoy. Only now that I am gone..."

Storm snorted.
"I am a noble; no one's employee."
She sighed.
"Noble is just another word for a lap slave, instead of these ones here. We don't get starved. My Matron is my ruler, such as an Englishman's is the King."
Storm frowned.
"Which is all very odd, considereing that by rights, the House should be mine. The current Matron Mother is my great grand-daughter. Or coz or some such. I lost count a while back just who's line this whelp is of, and how far back I am supposed to count the greats."

Allen: What's not to be happy about? I'm employed, paid handsomely, and I get the opportunity to humiliate someone with a god complex. Sure, I have a cowardly brother, but other than that, I'm perfectly happy.
