Nebride smiled softly as she caught the pendant. Gently she closed Gren's locket and threw it back to her. "He was. Jeroviah didn't like the fighting. He didn't like that once we could roam free, and now we are forced to stay even more to ourselves to protect each other. He wanted things to go back to the way there were before. We all do," she whispered this last part to herself.
"So, have you ever come close to getting married? Anyboy special in your life?"

"huh?" marrage? i had never thought about that. truthfully it hadn't crossed my mind once! "well... i've never had anything to do with marrage" i said, "but the ones closest to me were my mother and baby brother. being near them always made me feel as if i was the happiest girl in the world"
i smiled to myself at the thought of helping my mother clean the house and tend to the garden. i sure do miss those days.

"Hmm, that's too bad. To have someone you love--to spend the rest of you life with. Well, it's a wonderful feeling. Don't get me wrong--family is good, but it's not the same. This special person that comes into your life is really an oddity. They do not have to love you--they just do. It just happened. Your family don't have to necessarily love you, but they will protect you because you are their blood." Nebride crossed her arms.
"But some people in families are the exception." Her jaw clenched. "Damn it! When I find Eleclyo he is going to wish he had killed himself."

"i wish you good luck with your brother" it was the best i could do for her. it was her problem after all. i'm not going to get involved unless she asks me too.

"Good luck...it's been a while since anyone has said that to me before." Nebride sighed and closed her eyes.
"I noticed how Togan kept on wanting to get close to you. You need to be careful if you don't want to settle down. I could sense his feelings. I think he would like it far better if you two were more than just friends. Don't lead him on any more than you have to. When a heart is broken--it's devastating."

Nebride nodded, "Definitly. I know he said he would, and I believe he will, but I need a second opinion. Do you think that Togan will keep his mouth shut? Do you think he won't tell anyone about this? About us?"

Nebride stopped and leaned forward. "What the hell was that?" She swiftly jumped out of the tree without telling Gren where she was heading. Truth be told, she didn't know for herself. She was just following the noise. She stopped when she saw Elazul wildly ripping at a wolf. "The hell?"
Nebride stepped forward and shouted, "Elazul, get a hold of yourself! Are you trying to attract people here!?"
Suddeny Elazul turned to her. Without hesitation he charged. "Damn it," Nebride cursed as she jumped over him. "Sorry Elazul, but this is for your own good." Her hand swept through the air and Elazul was hit to the ground by an invisible force.
"Elazul---are you okay?"
