Skyeheart pushed through the half broken doorway into the hall.

Shadow nodded slightly and allowed him to carry her.

At last the brave dragonewt knight stumbled out of the door, just as the house collapsed behind him.
He sighed a breath of relief.
"You'll be okay now."

Shadow rested her head down on his chest, very tired and in shock from what just happened.

She's still exhusted, but where can she rest?
Then an idea sparked in the dragonewt's mind.
I've already finished repairing my domain, she can rest there like Dax did resting at Alice's.
He then flew off toward his domain with her still in his arms.
