Aurora nodded slowly. "That sounds about right, I suppose, though I think I might have fallen asleep when he was introducing himself...." he murmured with a small shrug. The prince glanced from Nic and then to Remy for a moment before his dark gaze returned to meet the night's eyes. "Hmm, well, it really depends on just how strong our genie... friend is," he replied, his mouth turning down slightly in distaste as he was forced to call Remy such a name -- the djinn was no such thing, of course. "If he gets himself killed, then we're free of one annoyance. If he kills Al-whatsit, then that rids us of another. Of course, Remy would first have to be capable of finding this... elf... thing first. If he isn't even up to that then I'm afraid that his powers are of no use and he shall simply have to stay locked up in his lamp...."
Now, with his back turned to the genie, a small grin had spread across the prince's lips, despite his cold words. He was quite obviously trying to bait the genie into doing just what he wanted -- and, surprisingly enough, it would probably work. Maybe.

Even with the given title of 'friend', Remy had no time to praise himself over it. Not after hearing Aurora's logic of his own win-win situation. No way was the prince's delightful mother the cause of this cold demeanor. The question crossed him if he could even categorize this attitude as 'typical bratty prince', or if it should be considered something much more.
His features had yet to lose its hold of fearful anxiety at the idea of being locked back into his gravy boat, as it had so been dubbed. "There's just a teensy little problem there," Remy said, posture still giving off the appearance of a whipped dog. "Not that I wouldn't just love to get rid of this possible threat to you!" he was quick to add. "But it's just that I can't exactly.. kill anyone. Just one of the few genie limitations. Even we have a rule book, you know."

((Yes, Rora's a moody b***h. But you already knew that. :3 ))
It was yet another time when the phrase "if looks could kill" came to mind. He had turned to face Remy, his dark eyes cold again pale, delicate features. He looked feirce -- and quite oddly captivating. It seemed that no matter his mood, the prince was always stunningly beautiful. After several long moments of drawn out, highly uncomfortable silence, he spoke once more. "Then why don't you simply detain you? Indi seemed to have no trouble doing the same to yourself... it seems as if it is the very least you can do," he replied, his tone just as biting as it had been on several occasions before. Aurora. Wanted. This. Done. There were no ifs ands ors or buts about it once the prince wanted something -- he wanted it and he would get it, end of story.

"Well, Indi's miraculous detainment spell has yet to be tested really," Remy replied, perhaps a bit too crossly. He seemed to catch his tone, however, and bit his lip. If the threat of having to be locked up in his lamp hadn't came up earlier, he wouldn've been sure he'd have gone on in his complaints. Such as how maybe Aurora should have been the genie and himself the master, then he'd see just how simply things of such calibur could be done.
Instead, the djinn accepted the fact that he was the one that had to do the dirty work. "I'll see what can be done," he sighed defeatedly.

"Good!" Aurora exclaimed, a light smile spreading across his lips. Pale, slender fingers laced together at the prince's chest. He was simply beaming after having gotten his way. Dark eyes travelled from Remy and then back to Nic, a rather more than pleased smile on his lips. He felt rather cunning -- or was that the right word? -- for having acheived his desires through will and a slight bit of trickery. After all, Aurora really hadn't been all that angry.... he had simply wished to rid himself of two annoyances.
"Well, this settles things..." he said, grinning slightly at the Nic, pale cheeks flushed with a sense of accomplishment.

Nic watched Aurora's "convincing" exchange with the djinn in interested silence. He knew the prince did tend to get especially annoyed and even angry rather easily, but this was on an entirely different level. If he would allow himself, 'heartless' would have came to mind, but no way could he accuse the blonde of that. He had to have some sort of plan to go with this.
Shaking his head at Aurora's sudden change in everything from attitude to appearance, Nic said, "Could you promise me something? Please.. please don't ever get that angry with me." Especially considering how that wasn't even real anger.. "I'd like to keep my ego somewhat intact."

Aurora grinned at the brunnette and shrugged. "What? Me? Get angry? Nooo," he replied sweetly, dark eyes glimmering with rather more than a small bit of humor. He was in almost an unusually good mood now. "Anyway, you're not some freak pervert, so there should be no problem," he continued. Really, he hadn't known Nic very long but he already held the man in quite high esteem -- or at least higher than he usually held his "suitors." But Nic had come to rescue a princess, right? It was only his sense of duty and his sympathies, as well as his naturally kind nature, that had kept the knight with a prince. And yet, though he was happy that Nic was no pervert, he was slightly peeved at that thought. He rather thought of Nic as a friend and he did hope the other felt the same... he wouldn't want Nic to be near him only for reasons of duty as a knight or some such.

Mint Thimble Hina glanced back over at Ryland, the scowl still firmly planted on his lips. The other's last words did not help his mood. "I'll use whatever language with whomever I feel is deserving of it," he replied, his dark eyes full of both hurt and anger. Somehow, Ryland's words seemed to penetrate just the places where Hina was most insecure and he couldn't stand that. "And I'm not crazy to leave anyone. Pandora's right. All you'll have to do is follow the sight of the castle, avoid some marshes, maybe a bear or two... I'm sure you'll be fine, since you seem rather capable of slaying nearly anything with your words alone. I should hate to see what masacre you could create with a weapon in your hands." Ryland shrugged off the frog's words. He wasn't interested in scratching up his wrist again to summon a trident he didn't need to use. "Okay, so next time you turn into little froggy pants, you plan to kiss some bear to turn you back. That sounds loads more enjoyable for you. Fine, you go ahead and Pand- wait, where's that kid?" Ryland's eyes fell on the brush where short split-personality boy had stood a few minutes before. He'd been so wrapped up in his conversation, that he hadn't noticed the other leave.
"Well, he must have gone ahead... In any case, you shouldn't leave me. I'm a necessary commodity."

"Well, I simply don't plan on turning into a frog again. I've learned these marshes pretty well, finally, and I think I can avoid at least most unfortunate occurences," he replied, his usual grin finally slipping back upon his features. It seemed he wished to remain as upbeat as possible -- Hina simply hated staying angry or depressed or anything at all negative. Not only was it unbecoming, it was depressing to be depressed. [no, really? 8D;; ]
Hina had, in fact, already taken his first step off and away from the other but he paused and looked back as the crimson-haired prince spoke, a light smile on his lips. "Well, that's unfortunate because I really don't like you," he replied sweetly. It didn't matter how... attractive -- geh, he hated to even think that! -- the other was. He had been mean and... and Hina was still quite childish. He was more than willing to hold grudges.

[[[posting hurr. because I have no idea how to jump back into prince rp yet...]]
Ryland casually followed that step with one of his own. "Well... you've got the map. So I'm following you anyway, frog. I'm not saying we should have hot cocoa and tell stories at a slumber party. But you're my ticket out of this stupid forest. Now, please lead the way!" An edge crept into his voice that wasn't there before, but the Atlantian Prince still managed to throw in a 'please' to keep things fairly polite.

((Wanna do some sort of mini time skip thing there? 8D;; I dunno, I really want to keep that RP active because I have quite a bit of plot wound round it (it's me pet plot <3). It's so painful to just watch it dieeee. D: ))
Ryland was treating him as if he were some common man -- a guide, no less! This really quite aggravated the teen, though he didn't quite feel like letting the other know just who he was dealing with. "Well, then, suit yourself. I might not go into town for a while, though, because I'm so bored of it," he replied with a smile. With that, he turned round and began to head off through the forest. His small, green frame became immidiately less easy to make out as he entered the more shadowed areas. He really did blend in quite nicely with the color scheme -- except that his hair was rather too bright to match the rest of the greens that surrounded him.
It was some time they spent walking. Hina seemed never to tire, despite his short legs, for he was more than used to long trecks. He continued onwards through the forest, weaving easily around the various marshes and other trecherous spots. He really did know his way around. And eventually, after quite a lot of walking, they broke out into sunlight. They were at the base of the castle -- the woods of course belonged to the King and Queen.
Hina turned to Ryland with a grin. "Have fun in town. I'm going to visit Auntie," he said sweetly, not holding out a hand for the other to shake. Though he had let go of most of his anger, he still felt at least a small bit of animosity towards the other. He didn't much want to talk to him unless Ryland was going to apologize or something.

Though he knew the 'freak pervert' comment was directed towards himself, Remy made no point to acknowledge the insult. Maybe there really was some truth to it, not that such a thing would get him down. After all, what was wrong with admiring a good looking body? Shaking his head, the djinn instead looked to be racking his brain for ideas. How could one track a man he has never seen before and has no evidence to where he might have gone? Some sort of evidence..
"Well, I do know of one way that I may be able to locate him," Remy spoke up after a few silent moments. "I'll have to do something you probably won't like, but you're going to have to trust me in order for me to do it.."

Or maybe at least a part of that anger hadn't been faked -- Aurora certainly seemed to stiffen at the other's words, his smile freezing slightly. Trust him. Trust him?!? What, was the man -- genie -- whatever out of his mind?!? A scowl had settled upon the blond's lips as he turned slightly to glance at the other, though he did not fully face him. "What? You want to use me as bait or something? Like some little damsel in distress?" he asked, the last three words falling from his lips in a tone dripping with disgust. He had been the damsel in distress of the entire country -- or even more than that since foreign princes had come, as well -- for over a year. And Remy wanted him to do that again?!? The prince's temper had already begun to rise -- if Remy did not soon explain his idea, and if that idea was not adequate, it was more than likely that they would once more be hearing Aurora's quite overly loud and vehement tones. Oh, what a bundle of joy Nic had chosen to acompany.

Remy could tell Aurora was getting angry once more. Like Nic, the genie was getting used to these mood swings, but also unlike the knight, he seemed to be the only one of the receiving end of the prince's surprisingly undainty yet undeniably adorable fury. If only he was free to poke fun of those blushing cheeks and that little scowl of Aurora's without having to fear lamp-bound imprisonment. Holding his hands up in an attempt to hold off any more of Aurora's verbal abuse, Remy was shaking his head.
"Hold on there, tiger," the djinn said. "Don't get ahead of yourself. I wouldn't use my beloved master as bait. A tad too risky.. I simply needed to make some 'contact' with you, and knowing how much you absolutely despise my being near you, I thought you should receive a fair warning first. You see, I sense this Algernon fellow has left remnants of his magic on you and to pick up on his trail, I need a closer look. Scarcely different than a hunting hound picking up a scent, I suppose."
