Aiime and Shinta gave a small cheer as Haku entered the room, but were mostly quiet since their father was reading. There were two open places for both Haku and Zabuza to sit and eat, food already on their plates.
Haku took a seat, looking to the food. It seemed a little cold, but it smelled good. He waited until Zabuza sat, and then began eating. The twins were munching on their own food, booster seats helping them sit high enough at the table.

Zabuza stood behind Haku against the wall, not having any appetite at the moment, so just kept watch.
"Ah, good morning Lady Hakuhyou. Excuse me for being lost in my work and not noticing your arrival." Nasake said and set his scroll to the side to eat his own food. "I assure you that I'm not always this busy, but there is going to be a festival soon and it is my task to plan everything."

"Morning." Haku replied, smiling. "It's fine. I hope you won't be buried in work all the time, however, as there will be people needing your attention, today." he raised an eyebrow a bit and smiled. He then glanced over to the side for a moment, and then behind at Zabuza, giving a small frown that was hidden behind a smile the moment he turned his head back around.

"I will see to it that you never feel unwanted, Lady Hakuhyou." Nasake said with a warm smile. "I would be a horrible host if I ignored my guests, though it would be hard to ignore you. I try to get as much work done while everyone is sleeping so I can give you company and not have to worry about it."

"Ah, but then you don't lave any room for sleep." Haku replied, returning the smile, but still keeping a raised eyebrow. "I appreciate your devotion to keep everyone satisfied, but maybe the girls could help out by entertaining your guests while you work- so then you could sleep at night like the rest of us?" he suggested, looking over to Aiime and Shinta. The twins then looked over to their father.

"I'm sure the two of them would love to. But I warn you that they can be a hadful and are rather fond of playing tricks." Nasake gave a chuckle as he looked at his girls. "I don't think they will give you any trouble though. I've already warned them that if they misbehave that they won't be attending the festival."
Zabuza made a face that his wraps concealed. Great, stuck with the brats for longer than nessesary. This is going to make our job harder...or was that your plan, Haku? he thought as he eyed the back of the teens head.

"I think we can handle them..." Haku smiled, then returned to eating his breakfast. The less time I spend with the lord, the more likely I will not falter when the time comes... he thought, ignoring the stare he knew he was getting from Zabuza. I just not need to get attached so easily... he added, glancing over at the twins, who were giving a few cheers and smiles to him.
Aiime and Shinta began working on figuring out where to take Haku, while they finished breakfast. They kept giving glances to Zabuza, always darting as if to attempt not to get caught.

"Then if it pleases you, you may have their company for as long as you wish. I may have to steal you away every so often as you are my guest." The man that had greeted Haku and Zabuza came into the room and whispered something into the lords ear. Nasake then gave a nod. "It seems I have some more visitors. Will you please excuse me for the time being, Lady Hakuhyou? I will come check in on you as soon as I have a moment." he then got to his feet and gave a bow before leaving the room.
"Lady Hakuhyou...I beleive that it is your competition that has arrived. Please be careful around them and their protectors. Things can get deadly when there is something big like this involved." Zabuza said from his spot, eyes drifted over to the two girls. "Will you two help me keep an eye on Lady Hakuhyou?" If Haku could get the two girls to favor him over the rest, then he stood a higher chance at getting closer to the lord.

Haku gave a small nod to Nasake, and then looked to Zabuza as the older male spoke.
Aiime and Shinta looked to each other for a moment.
"Father told us not to pick a favorite..." Aiime started
"...but we like you, so.... okay!" Shinta finished, the two of them smiling.

Zabuza gave a very small smile to the girls. "Most people do like Lady Hakuhyou, so you won't be any different. If you're finished, my lady, we should go."

Haku gave a small nod, shifting to stand. He'd barely eaten much of anything, but he wasn't too hungry. However, as he stood, his chest started hurting again. He gave off a small cough and hid the pain behind a smile as he looked to the girls. "You two ready?" he asked, breathing hitching a little every time he took in a breath.

Zabuza went over and held open the door to let the females go out first. With one last look around in the dining area, he followed them out. He hoped that Haku could get the twins talking so they could learn anything that would help them. The easier this was, the faster they could get it over with. Then he could go back and kill the man who assaulted Haku.

Once again, Haku was led around by both twins, each holding one of his hands. He continued smiling, and they started talking a bit. It wound up mostly being more on what the compound held, but it would help them on getting through everything when they needed to make an escape. When they decided to explore the garden, he insisted they sit down for a little bit; it was mostly to help him relax a little to help the pain in his chest. They talked more, and pointed out animals that they saw.

They hadn't been in the garden long when Zabuza heard the sound of some girls giggling. He looked back towards the door and saw Nasake enter the garden with an attractive female on each arm.
When he noticed Haku, he smiled. "Lady Hakuhyou, I hope you're enjoying the garden. This is the part of mansion I take the most care of." In fact, he tended this garden with little help from the gardener as this place was very special to him. "Girls, this is Lady Hakuhyou and her guard Zabu. My Lady, these are Lady Ayame," The blond on his right, "and Lady Chihiru." A red head. "They too will be guests for a while so I hope you three can become friends."

The twins let go of Haku's hands as he turned to face Nasake and his guests. "Pleased to meet you." He said, giving a polite bow. "The garden is very well-maintained." he stood back up and gave a soft smile. "You can tell by the animals that it is healthy." The twins took his hands again, and he gave another small bow. "If you'll excuse us... I think they wanted to show me more." he murmured.
