Donovan nodded rising from his seat, "Indeed," though he wondered what was on the list for them in this case.
He cast a glance at the two angels repsectively, that was also a good question.
"They need to come up with a game, maybe take them gardening, otherwise they'll have nothing to do," he told Ulani, "On the bright side they're too young to try anything with magic."

"But not to get into it," Kara replied back with a laugh, "Don't forget, Miyu is Yue's daughter, and he and Yuki always got into my workshop," she giggled.
Miyu's eyes lit up at the sound of magic and workshop, she knew what those meant, naturally. However her learning was hampered by the fact she didn't really talk... at all.

Ulrich chuckled a bit and headed for the door. "Up for a trip up the mountain?" he asked Donovan. "Stream's purest up there, better hunting, if you're up for it."
Ulani smiled, a little mystified, not really knowing what Kara was talking about. But she said nothing, only turned to collect all of the dishes and put them into one large pile. "If you'd like, I can get you my sewing supplies," she offered to Kara, "and you can start on some clothes for them while I do the dishes ..."

"Sure," Donovan agreed, "Just let me get my things, I left my coat in the room," he told Ulrich.
Which to Donovan translated to, he left all his sharp pointy objects in his coat. Besides, he was going hunting, he didn't have bow and arrows, only throwing knifes, and some nice throwing darts, which for small game he suppose would do. He motioned that he would be right back as he went back to the room to get his things.

Kara nodded, "I would like that thank you," she replied with a smiling as she slided her dish away so she could get the two girls to come closer to her.
It had been a long while since she made anything that small, not since Trisha was little, and that was before Helen arrived, much less discovered his vocation for clothes making.

Ulrich nodded to Donovan, then at Ulani and Kara. "I'll see you two lovely ladies later then," he grinned, and headed out to the livingroom. He took his bow from its hook above the door and strung it as he waited for Donovan, then slipped his quiver onto his back and buckled it on snugly.
Ulani grinned and headed to one corner of the kitchen, where there was a large, flat-lidded trunk. She opened it up and brought out a large pile of supplies: needles and thread, a sharp pair of scissors, and several yards of material. Unfortunately, she reflected, it wasn't likely to be the kind of material Kara was familiar with - judging by her and Donovan's clothes. Ah well ... she was sure Kara could manage.

Skye crawled over to the edge of the table to watch what Ulani was doing. That was a big box ... but it sure looked comfortable, with all that soft stuff in there ...
Her wings fluttered slowly, meditatively.

Donovan put on his coat as he always did, checking his pocket for this things, he brought along his gun, but he wasn't going to use it for the hunt. Instead he kept his darts close to him, he had a switchblade hidden under his pant leg, but it was the fighting/throwing knives he used strapped to his arms that was the most important bit.
After making sure everything was in place, he joined Ulrich for this hunt.

Kara wondered what was it that Ulani was pulling out, she tried to remember the types of cloth that Elnara had once told her about long ago. She tried to remember if cotton was common or just wool, she knew one or the other wasn't used. Or maybe it was neither...
"What type of material is that?"

"Wool," Ulani smiled. "It's rough, I'm afraid ... I haven't been to the marketplace in a few years, so all we have is what I've made myself, and it's far from high quality."
She set the material and tools on the table and closed the trunk, then picked up the rest of the dishes. "Is there anything else you need before I leave you?" she asked. "Not that I'll be gone long ..."
Ulrich nodded greeting to Donovan. "Ready then?" he asked, opening the door and taking a step outside.

"No," Kara smiled, "I'll be fine don't worry, I'll hollar if I need help," she giggled as she reached out to tap Miyu gently on the head, "Well are both of you ready? I need measurements."
Miyu blinked wide eyed, she didn't understand why she needed new clothes or why Uncle Helen wasn't making them.

Skye was paying no attention to Kara. She was too busy playing with the material that had been set on the table ... she picked up one corner and giggled, then started crawling underneath it.

Kara giggled at Skye's antics as she motioned for Miyu to come to her, "Come on Miyu," she looked over the measuring device, "I need to see how much cloth I need."
Of course Miyu was use to this part as she tipped over to her grandmother, holding her arms out like a scarecrow. Even if she still couldn't understand why, but maybe she would get something pretty to wear out of it.
