It's not the independence of Mexico. blaugh
On this day in history, soon after the arrival of the conquistadores' arrival in the early 1500's in Mexico, Virgin Guadalupe visited peasent Juan Diego and healed the sick from supposedly incurable diseases.
Her body now remains in a cathedral in Mexico City, now the second-most visited religious insititution in the world, next to the Vatican.

Yes, but she is also considered the icon for Independence in Mexico too, Scoot! blaugh At least... I think so. Though I had no idea of where her body was buried. Good to know. 3nodding

I did look somewhat like her avi, but now I don't.
In history, a few years ago, I did hear about the lady in blue. At least, I think it was blue. sweatdrop It could of been white.
