Painted Black When my mom donated to PBS she got one of those complimentary gifts, and it happened to be the Phantom of the Opera Wishbone plush XD
I was like, "YOU AIN'T GONNA BE RAOUL NO MORE!" and I cut him a felt mask X3 You ought to post a picture of him

I was watching an episode of the Oblongs because... I have no idea why I was but um... this family locked her daughter away because her face got ******** up and they walked in on her and she was playing the organ. XD

BakaTulip I was watching an episode of the Oblongs because... I have no idea why I was but um... this family locked her daughter away because her face got ******** up and they walked in on her and she was playing the organ. XD
That show is extremly disturbing. o.O
On another note, when my little brother was watching Pokemon there was a dude with a cape and a mask dressed just like Erik. Then they started calling him "The Phantom." ^_^ That made my day.

There's a fairly phantomish episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Though the monster inthe episode is not deformed, she was ignored so much that by the laws of perception distorts reality she turned invisible. She lived in the vents of the school and was a flautist. And she did some pretty awful things, she suffocated a teacher and was planning on cutting up one of the popular girls' faces. Also she created her own little torture chamber by locking Willow, Xander, and Giles in the basement and turning on the gas.
Also there is a song from the Buffy musical in which a verse goes
"We are caught in the fire, the point of no return, so we will walk through the fire and let it burn." The imagery is very PonR

Another Buffy one, on the episode Halloween, Buffy dresses up as a 1770s girl to impress Angel who was... about 18 in 1775. Anyways, the dress and wig she wears makes her look very much like Christine, and once the spell gets cast and they all become what they were dressed as, she develops a very Sarah Brightman-esq stare. But she also got wimpy..something Christine is not.

I saw High School Musical in the hotel in Arizona.
(forgot name): Have you ever seen Michael Crawford on a cereal box?
Troy: Who's Michael Crawford?
(forgot name): Exactly my point. He was the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. My mom saw that musical 27 times and she put Michael Crawford's picture in our refrigerator.
I squealed so loud that my parents knew right away that I saw a PotO reference.

I found a new PTO reference today! There is this manga I have just started reading called "Kikaider." It's based on the old anime, but updated for a new generation. Anyhow, one character is going to the main character Mitsuko. The guy is in a long, flowing cape. He's going down these long stairs (Like in Masquerade.) He has on a mask similiar to the one Gerard Butler had on in the Masquerade scene!
I never noticed it before, but it's totally a PTO reference! It's a dance to, how perfect is that biggrin

Yes it is the anime they showed on Adult Swim for a bit AngelofMusic. Except the new manga changes a lot of the storyline. I have all four DVDs of the Kikaider animation and love it! It was sweet to see a PTO reference in there, well at least to me since I'm such a rabid fan lol. heart

I have all four DVDs of the Kikaider animation and love it! It was sweet to see a PTO reference in there, well at least to me since I'm such a rabid fan lol. heart Really? I remember watching it when I was in like 5th grade XD (is going into 9th now) I liked it a lot.

*gasp* i was watching this old movie with my grandather and i really didn't want to watch it because i thought it was boring... so, i just sat there and almost fell asleep... it was about this plane and they were running out of fuel and the guy asks if you should turn back and head home... Well... the captain replys, "No... We've past the point of no return.". And i was like, "OMG, I LOVE THIS MOVIE! KEEP IT ON! I LOVE YOU GUY ON THE T.V., WHOEVER YOU ARE! I LOVE YOU POPPY! I'LL WATCH OLD MOVIES WITH YOU ANYTIME! >.< EEPS!". hahaha! So funny!
