The darkness that Onyx made around some treasure hunters started to fade back into normal light.
Fisshu was running around trying to hit as many hunters as she could, repeating "Water Bubble!" over and over again. She started to get tired.
Daru-chan repeated her dance over numerous times, trying to strike as many as she could, but was slowly getting tired ((aswell)).

You know, maybe she ought to put the stone in the spot on the necklace and use it... Alex thought, but didn't say anything. She and my people (Other than Kiichigo, who kept on randomly shooting random hunters, and yet not killing them) were attacking one hunter at a time. Yay.

Ami summoned her dreamcatcher and began randomly fighting with a random, nameless treasure hunter NPC. The only thing interesting about them was that they fought with, of all things, a large shovel.

Ceviche, meanwhile, summoned her lyre and held it out in front of her. Snarling, she placed her hand to the strings as she pronounced, "Ribbon..."

Brownie and Ginger were fighting random hunters, starting from the back (I think I may have mentioned this already...). They had managed to drive a few away, running screaming from the 'bloodthirsty elves desiring their ruby back'. Of course, they ignored this insult just as well as they ignored Pepper's comments about their clothes (which was, by the way, with a slight scowl before they kept going on about their work). Some towards the front had run, too, afraid of what Ceviche might be doing.

"Why don't you just give up?" Ruby asked Tobi. She had just disarmed him - his knives were now melting in the volcano's lava. He shook his head.

"If I gave up now, I'd be a coward like the other runaways. That's just not my style." He grinned a little, and added, "besides, I've injured you well enough, I can do hand to hand combat." Ruby scowled. If he was going to try to get too close, then she wouldn't really be able to use her scythe - it would be easier to use her fire if he was going to do that.

"Uh oh..." Kira said, looking at Ceviche

"What?" Alex asked, turning around and then getting knocked back by the hunter she was fighting.

"Ceviche-san is angry, and is about to attack" Sekkai replied quietly.

"And that means...?" Alex asked.

"You'll find out..." Kira said, and muttered something, forming a protective barrier (That didn't seem to work against physical attacks, since Alex was still being hurt) around each of the mews (including Ceviche, because she couldn't really keep that from happening. "This might not be enough," She said, "But it should help"

Tobi leapt at Ruby, who quickly threw her hands up, dropping her scythe, throwing a small fireball at him. He was grazed by it, landed just behind her, and kicked at her feet. She fell, face first, to the ground, then spun around, throwing another flaming thing at him. He seemed unaffected by it this time, regardless of the fact that it hit him square in the face.

"WHY THE HECK ARE YOU ASKING ME????" Alex Shout-Asked at Suki's characters who were asking her questions.

"It's supposed to help protect you from Ceviche's attack. And no, it won't rebound it back to her. I don't think it's very strong, but it's bettter than nothing" Kira said.
