This whole situation remided her of the old static filled movies she used to watch. She only saw them when they were orbiting Corillia. The two people paired, conflicting personalities, dry humor. A small whine from K'tana made her lower her head. She smiled. She hoped this wouldn't go like those movies...or did she.
She looked at the viroblade. Common, common style, used for common defense. She had one of her own on the ship. She had replaced with the lightsaber on her belt. She knew that for her the saber was about useless but she needed to get used to the force emenating from it. She had to accept it. She ran solutions through her head. Then a question formed. 'How much does a Viroblade hurt?' She didn't know. All these years she had carried around a viroblade. All those people she had threaten to hurt or had hurt. She moved it to her hand and felt the sight heat pulsating off the blade. She shouldn't be ignorant of the pain she was causing. She doubted that was the lesson she was supposed to learn.
"Chest, Head, Left neck..."
Renii rasied the blade to her lower neck and toched it to the skin griting her teeth, not too deep but definitly not too lightly either. The blade traced a dark red K and as sand whipped around it settled in the new wound, glittering painfully. Renii stood in the silence for a while. She gripped K'tana's collar ruff and turned and walked back to the almost erected shelter. Yes if she ever wanted to hurt some one she'd got for the left neck.

Zeth had just completed the shelter under the night sky while observing Renii in her practice with the Vibroblade. It had been a long road forZeth since his last untraced visit to Tatooine and he remembered many things, but dwelling in the past would not help either of them. He noticed the new woundon Renii's left neck, all he could do was scoff and shake his head
"So....now you're resorting to carving marks on your skin?....I guess thats a start"
Zeth began to remove his cloak and shirt. He hung his clothes on the bar he had set up. All he had on were his dark pants and boots. His entire upper body was scared up from past battles with his opponents and his inner demons. Including the deep scar that was caused by his Vibroblade. In due time, the midichlorians would stain the blade and it would infuse the blade with the Force. With a small spark of Force Lightning, he started a fire that ignited quickly. He sat on a peice of metal and stared at the fire with this intense glare, his silver eyes becoming an amber yellow in the fire

"I think it was nessesary. Somthing I needed to know. Weither or not i pass your training I'll come out with somthing. I need to beable to survive though to use it. Now there is one less doubt in my mind and one less reason to flich in shock."
She sighed and sat a few feet the shelter. Resting her head agaist K'tana she unwillingly let sleep claim her

The morning sun had risen over the shelter that morning. Zeth had stayed up all night, fearing he may have nightmares of what happend at Tatooine. He went to the Furyan and grabed two buckets of water and a towel. He went outside and dumped one bucket on him, being it was going to be hot and unforgiving today. He then threw the second bucket on Renii which would wake her up.
"Wake up sleeping Tawn-Tawn, time for the Sarlacc pit"
He said jokingly as water dripped fromhis drentched face and body scars

"We haven't been here a week and you already think this is a vacation."
Zeth wrapped his hair into a ponytail and tied a small peice of cloth around it.
"The goal here for this training is surviving here in this desert. As far as you and I are concerned, your humoungous ship dosen't exist. It's bed, shower, rations, any form of luxury, is not here. The only thing you need to devote yourself too is your training her on Tatooine. Once you've come to rely on your abilities, your wolf will not be able to protect you. It will only be around to keep you company. Let's start by calling out to the Force. R4, watch the stuff here until We return"
Zeth walked far from the two ships, giving Renii and K'tana directions to where her training would start. About three clicks from the shelter, a really long walk, Zeth showed Renii a mountain valley that had a good view of the sand valleys and even a view of mos eisley. Zeth sat on the edge of the mountain and closed his eyes.
"The Force is an unending ocean of possibilities. It's easier to call out to it when you view something impressive as this sceanery. I want you to sit anywhere where you feel comfortable and close your eyes. Relax and reach out into the air with your mind and soul, strip away the outer shell of sand and view the subtle sence of Force you feel in the wind. When you have an understanding on how to call the Force, we will move onto the next step"

Renii nodded. The view was impressing but it was sad as well. Devoid of plant matter Tatooine seemed as cold and barren as the space she knew so well. It was nothing like Korriban that called out with life. It was almost as bad a courscant which had taken it's place at the top of the 'Most horrible plenter' list. Anywhere...
"K'tana dig." Int he next two minutes her and her wolf dug a small hole in the ground about a foot down and 4 feet across. "Good job boy" Renii sat in the ditch the sand was cooler there. She saw the sand falling down and closed her eyes. Wind. The result of palanetary movement and small atsteroids disrupting the atmoshpere. Yet suppposedy the force was everywhere. More sand moved and struck her leg. She opened her eyes a small beetle had crept out of the sand she had distrubed. His dark markings blended intot he sand and she scooped him up and held him in her palm.
"Hello little guy." She smiled. It was nice to know life existed on the planet. But then with a gust of wind the beetle was gone swept off into the sand. Wind

"I pity you Renii.....you view Tatooine as A barren waste of sand, devoid of life and all living things, but you only see the outside of Tattooine, you have no intention of looking on the inside"
Zeth stood up and looked down on Renii
"If you have no intention to listen to my words, I can have you stop right now and send you back to Korriban, where all life truly is lost in the darkness of Korriban"

"I never said that. Tatooine may be missing plants but it still has life. That beetle is proof. If your only impression of planets was from pictures that would be the first thing you noticed when you landed. I understand force wielders can pick up emotions and feelings but i also know they can't get exact details. Maybe i was just comparing Korriban to Tatooine. Maybe i don't have preference. I have every intention of listening to you. You gave me a chance and i will not easily forget that. But please let me wonder and not acuse me for it.
I just have one question. Why is Korriban dark? It's a planet. The sith are there but that doesn't make the planet evil. I was always under an impression that the Force didn't take sides and it was just the user? What makes grass dark, or moss?"

"Don't assume Renii.....NEVER assume anything. I've learned that the hard way in the force. I would not call Korriban a "dark planet" because the Sith reside there....It is because horrible things have happend on Korriban and it's dark energy has stuck with the planet. Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow, two siths that were so powerful, they would make the masters of today look like kids playing with toys. They resided on Korriban and turned it into a cesspool of evil. Everything the Force touches, it leaves a trace, good or evil....."
He paused and took a deep sigh
"You have to remember Renii, I may be more experienced in the force, but I am still young. I have no right to act like a master at all.....so I will speak to you as If I were your brother or boyfriend or whatever, just remember that"

"I will. I guess i'm angry at the fate of Korriban. So much life and it had no choice. Like a child raised in one way with no opertunity to seek anyother way. Maybe some day the Sith will be no more on Korriban and it can grow anew. Surely the things touched by evil can not live forever. Possibly some day a new generation will grow on that planet free from evil. That is my wish. But we are on Tatooine now a planet far from that regret."
She squinted in the ever growing light. The twin suns had both risen above the mountains. Reflecting off the sand it was the brightest thing she had ever seen. The early morning wind was gone and she had not yet learned her lesson. She bit her lip in anger. And if it was from the suns or her regret tears formed in her eyes.
"We can continue"

Zeth noticed a change in Renii's emotions, and it somehow affected his mood as well. The bond with Master and apprentice must have taken hold on them already. Zeth walked over to Renii and put his hand on her shoulder
"I don't think it's time for me to be a full master.....Let us return to the Jedi Temple for now. Your understanding of the Force should come from a place where the Force is more attuned. Tatooine is for advanced force user who can sense from deep within the planet. I startedyou out much to far, excuse me for rushing you. Let us go back"
Zeth began his way back to the Furyan, his head almost facing the ground as he should've known from the start, but was foolish to start her out to far

((Sorry for not waiting, but I need to keep on going with the story))
Zeth arrived at the Furyan before Renii had, but she was no where in sight. He wondered what happend to her, but he could still feel her presence. He didn't have time to worry about her at the moment, he trusted K'tana to protect her from any danger on Tatooine. Before he left he placed a homing beacon inside the ship,with the help of Glacian's handy little gadget given to him long ago.
"This way, if she would leave the planet, I would be able to know exactly where she is at all times. I was foolish to start her out to far, I will place the coordinates for The Temple on her ship so she knows where I am heading"
After punching in the destination, he exited her ship and headed for the Furyan once more. He fired up the engines and headed straight for Coruscant

Renii walked back to her ship quietly behind Zeth. She felt as if she should have been able to suceed even though. Finding the coordinates she she lifted off and, in after a long wait of staring at her ceiling, they arived at Corscant. Hopefullt she wouln't fail here too.
