He followed her, giving the slightest impression of being irritated with the way she looked at the place.
"Domenia Molestia.. an old.. uhh.. acquaintance"
He explained dodging the question.
"Met her some time ago, she thought she could show up here and have things the way they used to be"
He shrugged.
"Guess it didn't help that Alexis and her 'toy' were here when she showed up.."

She rolled her eyes heavenward. Toy...With him talking about Andras like that, Raven was tempted to ask him if that's how he felt about everyone he slept with. Of course she didn't, playing a diplomatic role rather then the accuser...yet one thought escaped her.
"Is she why Alexis was left me all that time?"
She always wondered why she ended up with Alexis in her care rather then Joe's continuous as he was her parent...
"This demon shows up, you leave Alexis and now she's back and thinks she can dominate Alexis and what's hers?"

He looked at her suprised. This was the first time that he remembered that she'd brought up the subject of him dumping their daughter on her.
"No."
He simply stated, unable to tell her that he had hoped that somehow her memories would be restored if he left her daughter with her and took himself out of the picture.
"I met Dom some time after I left and I don't think she's out to dominate Alexis"
His voice grew dark as he spoke, whilst that was an option for the demoness to take, he would not hesitate to kill her for it no matter how much power she possessed. From what he understood though, she had wanted to control him, though obviously made a few coments towards Alexis that would have been best not said.
"What makes you think she's out to dominate Alexis?"
He asked, a fatherly concern entering his voice.

She folded her arms, resting them just under her breasts.
"A little birdie told me she said something to Alexis. I was hoping you knew what the bird was getting at. At least a certain someone who you can't even say his name without getting the urge to get upset about said something about meeting her and needing Arioch's aid."
She bit her tongue lightly in thought, studying Joe's form. She was too concerned about the matter before them to really think of how wonderful his body was.
"What's going on around here? Why do I get the feeling someone's lying?" She had a moment in her room, when she'd had time to think to herself that somehow she'd been lied too. Why was still a mystery and she figured it had something to do with Joe.

She was right, he still had problems with Alexis' feeder. Self control was a hard thing for him, especially as the only time he needed it was when it would result in a feed later for him. Any other time, self control didn't matter.
He swore, then turned away from her.
"ARI?"
He called out, his voice demanding to see the demon, NOW! It didn't take him too long to find him, and with a voice still loud enough for Raven to hear him clearly, he lay into the demon.
"You assured me she was fine! Having her feeder tell Raven that he needed YOUR help with Dom doesn't indicate that she's FINE!"
He started to loose it then, sinking his fist into the nearest wall, not aware of the pain this would cause once the adrenalin wore of.

Raven blinked as she crossed her legs, her ear twitching at the sound of a fist going into a wall. She rested her head in her hand, shaking it and thinking he hadn't changed and never would.
Arioch blinked at him, his hands behind him. "She was fine. I simply caught the aftermath of whatever transpired between the three, Alexis wasn't in much of a condition to really do anything and mean it and Andras is a slave. His postition doesn't require taking control."

He saw what Arioch meant, not really, but he himself had problems going up against the demoness, enough so to ask for Arioch's protection. It made sense that someone with less will power would have even more problems.
"Good thing you were around then.. "
He mumbled, realising exactly how much of a problem the demoness was, before heading into the kitchen and, almost on auto pilot, getting a wet towel to wrap around his hand which he knew would make itself known to him shortly by hurting.

Raven moved away from her perch and settled just in outside the doorway of the kitchen. "I don't suppose that aspirin bottle's still here is it?" Her wonderful headache decided to make it's appearance again.
Arioch peeked around and decided to scuttle back to Song's side and keep himself there....praying he wasn't going to be called upon too soon.

He opened the drawer and pulled it out, handing her the bottle.
"No-one's lying"
He picked up the conversation from earlier. So far, no-one had lied. Avoided telling the entire truth, sure, but then, he doubted she was interested in the details that revolved around Dom.

She walked further in to grab a glass and fill with water before she took two tablets and drowned them in water as she swallowed.
Details of what transpired between him and Dom she didn't want to know. What she did was what prompted this female to come back....Why did it annoy her that another female that wasn't Alexis was near Joe? Another question that answers were failing at.
She looked up to him. "So why do I sense something's missing? Alexis just gets handed to me for the past years...you claim you met this female afterward..."

He shook his head then, Dom's hold on him had been the major reason he had returned a few years rather than a few months after he had left Alexis with her.

"Joe..."
She was hating secrets, so many secrets. She felt like everyone was keeping them. She swore the first chance she got, she was spending a few weeks with Jay. Away from everything.
She thought if they were such great friends why was he hiding something from her? She ran her hand through her hair and leaned against the cabinet.
"I'm tired of secrets..."

"So was Dom. That's why she's here"
He stated, looking at her again. Was he right to want to keep Dom away from her? To want to pretend those years he spent away didn't happen? To seek his daughters forgiveness for abandoning her to her mother without telling her Raven was her mother. He didn't know.
"I left because I was making a mess of things and Alexis needed what I couldn't provide.. the love of a mother.. Dom met me whilst I was making a mess of things.. "
More, he couldn't, perhaps wouldn't, tell Raven.

Again she crossed her arms.
"So she's basically a one night feed that turned in a few years of a relationship...Now she seeks answers and probably finds Alexis a threat to you."
She hid one hand under the long sleeve that concealed the dagger there. She toyed with its edge a little, careful not to slice herself.
"So what else happened?" She wanted more details then he was letting out.
