My...leader, hasn't had much use for me as of late." Zaku said and sighed a bit. "I guess I should be happy that he's found himself a nice toy to entertain himself with." His fist tightened on his cup at the thought of Sasuke.

Haku's smile had faded. He leaned back in his chair and took a sip of his water. That's... what I thought when I saw you and him talking... He thought, stealing a quick glance at Zabuza. Maybe it really is him...
Letting out a small sigh, Haku's smile returned a bit. "As long as you respect your leader... And continue to prove yourself to him by doing even the smallest things... I bet he'll always have a use for you." He looked back over at Zaku.

Zaku laughed at that. "Trust me, I no longer have any use for him. I could walk away and leave the village and he wouldn't even notice. Maybe I should...find myself someone better to follow. Or maybe do things my way and do whatever job I can find."

Haku seemed a little disheartened by Zaku's reply, but it didn't show. "Maybe he only wants you to think that. Or maybe... I dunno. At least you have some place to call home, possibly?"

He shrugged. "I didn't have a home even before I became a ninja. I was alone on the streets, trying to do whatever I could to survive. That's when he found me though. He took me in, trained me, and made me what I am today. I guess I should be thankful...but I wonder where I'd be if he hadn't come along."
((Don't worry, happens to everyone. BTW, now that I'm doing this, I realize how much alike Haku and Zaku are a lot alike...))

"I'd be dead..." Haku's voice was barely audible. Suddenly standing up, he smiled down at Zaku. "I'll be right back... I need to go to the bathroom, and refill my cup." He didn't bother putting his shoes on as he disappeared off to the bathroom.

I'd most likely would be dead too. Probably would have gotten beat to death for stealing. Not that that can happen now that I can defend myself. I paid those two guys back a long time ago. Zaku thought with a smile, remembering the terror on the two guys faces before he killed them. Ah, good times. That was the last time someone ever did that to me. Orochimaru-sama...do you really still have use of me? He sighed and slouched a bit in his seat, drinking more of his water as he thought about past events.

Kiba rolled his eyes. "You know, you have a knack for ruining moments." He muttered. He looked around and saw Hinata looking at them. He cocked his head to the side and grinned at her. Aww, Hina-chan got a date! Good for her. He looked at SHikamaru again. "Come on, let's liven this thing up. Everyone might as well be dead."

Haku returned from the bathroom a little while later, holding a full cup of water. "Much better." He said with a small smile as he sat back down in his seat. He only glanced at Zaku for a moment before turning his head and watching the dancers. "It seems that the change of music was good for all of us..." He murmered.

A new member was added to the ranks as a girl entered through the door. This had better be worth it... Sakura thought as she entered. One thing was very different about her though. She had dyed her glorious pink locks a shiny silver at the ends to add to the over all effect of her outfit. It was a flowing dress of silver and was relatively simple except for the black corset that hugged her chest and waist. the material seemed to float when she walked and she surveyed her surroundings. "I hope this was worth coming to..." she said as she sighed and wandered in the lounge where she sat down. She had a mask held up to her eyes.

"You're the party animal, not me." Shikamaru said with a smile. "If it were under different circumstances, I'd say you should give us a strip show...but I guess we have to think of something else."
Zaku nodded and turned to watched the others for a moment. "It seems some people came just to waste the night. Oh, well, they can do whatever they want, I could care less." He looked back at Haku and smiled. "Would you like to dance some more while you want for the one you really want to make up his mind?"
