Clover agreed with Epotheros, this place was rather quite. “I’ll walk with you. I’m worried about Larien too,” she said.

"I will fill any doubt they have in their minds with fear. Fear is a powerful tool. It can calm uproars, and blunt the strength of rebellions. I have known these people far longer than you. They may be more intune with events than other races but even if you refuse and my plan fails, for every elf I kill I can reserect into a weaker and more foolish creature but they would be completly obidient. I currently have four monsters made from the shards of the mask. They are more than enough force to conqure this relm with. I will leave you now, I have more urgent matters to attend to now. When I return I will want an answer."

He then evaporate into a thick black mist and vanished leaving Larien in an empty room, in an unknow region of the world.

As they were walking through the maze of corridors Epotheros turned to Clover and started up some conversation with her, "It seems we will be stuck here for a while until every thing is sorted out, so perhaps we can start your new training. The Lord may even throw in a few hints, because he was the one who taught me everything I know."

They Finally arrived at Larien's room and Epotheros knocked on the chamber door. He waited and repeated, but to no response. He then opened the door just a crack and peered in.

"No one's here,"

He then opend the door its full length and went in. The room was empty and the bed was untouched. All of Larien's personal items were gone as well. A piece of paper sat on the bed and caught Epotheros' eye. He picked it up and read it.

"Dear Epotheros,
I am sorry I could not continue on with you, but I had to return to my own home. There are many things I must take care of there. I am truly sorry for the trouble this may cause you but you should have known better.
Larien."

The note made Epotheros frown. It was very simular to the time she had disappeared before. The note was right, he should have known better."

He then sat down on the edge of the bed and started to think while a large crow took flight from the edge of the window seal.

Tears fell freely from Larien's eyes. The stone room was cold and empty, she felt so alone. Her scars of slavery began to throb. She knew it would only be a matter of time when he came back. He would make her wear the same chains with no clothes and beat her in the same spots when she did not please him. He would never learn to love anything she had tried entering his heart when she was younger, when she believed that everyone had a good side to them. No he loved power, abuse, she knew he loved to look at her face as he beat her. He loved the green tint to her blood when he cut her time after time.
It was not a matter of if, it was a matter of when.

with everyone gone away from me, i went to my room, returned to my 'Mina', my staff, and returned to my window. upon seeing the crow, i noticed something different about it and sent my own crow concieled as part of its shadow to follow it...hopefully it would tell me why i felt so differently about that crow.

Following Epotheros Clover only nodded to his words. Her mind was racing again. So many things filled her mind: doubt, worry, confusion, and a bit of fear. Even though her thoughts were dark a smile remained on her face. When they reached Larien’s room her fears were confirmed. Larien wasn’t anywhere to be found. She walked in after Epotheros and waited as he read the letter. She then asked, “Is she coming back?” Clover knew a note meant Larien was gone, but to where? Clover didn’t want to pry so she didn’t ask what it said. Her attention was diverted to the doorway when Tramer entered.

((Tramer, Zant never even came here, his minons did the work while Larien was at the river.))

Epotheros lifted his head to see Tramer walk intot he room and ask were Laurien had gone. Epotheros stood up and handed the note to Tramer before speaking.

"She's gone. It is nothing to be to alarmed about, she has done this already and she had no reason to stick around when the danger was this high."

He then walked out of the room and down the corridor, his attitude was slightly annoyed. He was a little angry with Larien actions this time.

Ty's crow followed the one that had fled from the castle. After being followed several miles a loud screech was heard across the sky as a large eagle swooped down and grasped Ty's crown in its talons and crushed its head i the beak. After Ty's crow had been dispatched the two birds landed on the ground and transformed into two humanoid figures, Zant and the sourcerss.

"You were being followed," Zant said to his subordinate.

"I know, but I could not take it out with out transforming back to my normal shape without alerting them that we had taken Larien," she said.

"Well at least you planted the note and discized the energy signature so they should be none the wiser. For now lets go see how the four bests are developing." They then transformed back into their avian forms and flew off.

The night pasted and soon morning came. It was an average summer morning. The air was warm, a small breeze could be felt. It was a plesant day. Epotheros recieved a report from one of the guards tha the task he had asked of them had been compleated and the creatures were all located in the court yard.

Epotheros also wanted to keep his mind occupide so hewouldn't think of last nights problem, so he decide it would be as good of time as ever to ask Clover if she wanted to learn the new tecnique. Epotheros then put a new black sleavless shirt on and his usual black pants and leather boots. He then strapped his longsword to his back and exited the room. There was no need for armor and other weapons.

He made his way over to the guest corridor and knocked on Clover's chamber door and waited for a reply.

Clover had been awake for awhile. When she first woke, she dressed in her normal garb and then laid back down to think. She didn’t know Larien as well as Epotheros did, but she still thought that Larien was more loyal than that. Wasn’t it Larien who rushed to help Tramer in the ravine? Plus Larien healed Clover in the tavern. It didn’t add up. Could Larien really be that spontaneous. Clover’s thoughts were ceased by a knocking on the door. She rose from the bed and open the door to see Epotheros standing there. “Good morning,” she greeted him happily, though she was curious why he was there.

"Would you like to learn how to infuse wind with your dagger today? Before we go though, I would like to show you something in the courtyard that will be suprising and will put a smile on your face." He then had a smirk on his face when he told her there was a suprise in the courtyard.

Her eyes lit up as Clover heard Epotheros speak of training and some sort of surprise in the courtyard. “I’d love to,” she replied with a wide smile stretched across her face. Her dark thoughts of worry and doubt were washed away by the anticipation of whatever surprise Epotheros was talking about.
