This year was also my first year in marching band. We did 3 different shows.

Funk Show-- Played Jungle Boogie, Chameleon, Let's Groove
Beatles Show--Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Magical Mystery Tour, Hey Jude
Bond Show--James Bond Theme, A View to a Kill, Live and Let Die.

We did a Beatles show with Eleanor Rigby, Magical Mystery Tour, Hard days night, and Hey Jude.
We also did a Grease show and a John Williams music show (that one was the hardest....we marched into a spaceship for Close Encounters xd )

My theme this year was Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell Tale Heart"! We had so much fun with it. It was actually the hardest show I've done yet.

My school's show was called "Stranded" and it was absolutely amazing. Mostly original music, written by two geniouses that work at my school.

We just switched from TBA to USSBA this year too...we won maryland state championships and got 4th at nationals at raven's stadium.
We were pretty damn awesome I must say. O:

For us, last year was my first year, and we did a Jazz show titled "Man, If You Gotta Ask, You'll Never Know!" which is a famous quote about jazz from Louie Armstrong.
We did three songs and a percussion feature, as we did this year.
But, this year, we did the music of James Bond - 007.
It was fun!!!

Last year, our show was called "An American Salute" playing music from WWII. This year, we did "Rhapsody in Blue", in which all the music was made by George Gershwin.

We did The Incredibles last year (my first year in marching band) and this year we did Pirates of the Caribbean. It was pretty cool...our drumline dressed up as skeletons, and the drum majors had a swordfight as they walked onto the field.

Anyone go to the Hofstra Marching Band Festival this year? I was there. It was pretty cool.
