Silver bent over slightly at the loud !BOOM!, completely cuaght off guard. He looked around the room, perplexed at how different floors of the same building could be so drastically different. Though when the doctor asked his question, he quickly came up with a response.
"The Dragon's Raider is about 60 feet across, though you could guess how I was able to sail it all by myself. Its a bit old, though still in fair condition. Its crimson red with black masts. The etherial and normal sails both carry the symbol of a dragon coiling around the oriental symbols of Dragon and Warrior..."
Silver didn't even take in a breath. He just kept on talking.
"The oaken wood its made out of is quite strong, and has been reinforced by steel. The magic cannons are on top of the ship, which left easy access for me. They are viewed as ordinary cannons with rune bands around the firing chamber. The normal cannons are quite old, and I doubt they are even usable. The outside has been coated in apa wax to allow it to move through the water much quicker than normal. Now, below deck..."
He continued onward, getting into every little detail. He would continue until stopped, which could take a great while.

::And he was stopped. The Doctor raised his hand up as if to say "Hold on", and then peeled back his collar and spoke into it.::
Verified?
::A crackly voice returned.::
Yesssshhhh ffassssher...zzt.
::The Doctor nodded turned back to Silver, lowering his left hand and kindly saying::
Please continue.
::And he would let Silver continue as he stepped forward and made his way to the massive steel doors and pressed a single red button beside the doors, and then turned back to Silver. The technical specs Silver was describing would be akin to a child today explaining how awesome his Atari is when compared to a PS3, or Xbox 360. Its antiquated, its old, and hearing about it is sort of cute. That would explain the smirk on the Doctors face as he patiently listened.
It would take about a minute and a half before the enormous clangs filled the room. It honestly sounded like shafts of metal the size of tree trunks were clanging against each other This was followed by a low and loud grind as massive gears the size of most entire vehicles sprung into motion and gnashed against each other. And slowly, but surely, the massive doors at the front of the tower began to open.
The Doctor continued to ramble but made his way to the coat rack and put on his fluffy white lab coat and offered Silver a small blue winter coat with a hoody and gloves in its pocket. He was human now, and it was extremely cold. For even as he continued talking...if he continued talking, he would be able to feel the biting cold slipping through the growing opening in the unbelievably huge door and snipping up his Yukata.
It was take another 3 minutes before the door was opened and the Doctor finally cut Silver off, but in a kind way.::
Yes, she sounds beautiful I cant wait to see her. Come, lets go outside.
::And with that the Doctor stepped out of the tower and into the black night that rest outside, his silhouette was visible as the red light from the red cross atop the tower shined forward on the ground and showed a clear visage of the Doctor waving for Silver to come out and enjoy the weather.::

" he's coming to"
a young woman said near him as his eyes opened slowly squinting at the half-glare of the sun in his face. Looking around he saw something odd. 4 young people, 2 women and 2 men. all he could tell from thier features were that they were young, 17 maybe. They all wore uniforms, other than slight changes between the women and mens armor they looked the same. White long sleeves shirts made of something that had to be rough and thick because of the odd sound they made hwne they moved with the clothing. Thier pants the same color and cloth thier boots black leather that looked like it had been treated with oil or animal fat for they all gleamed in the light. On thier chests they had a breastplate that looked simple and light, the only armor they had other than the bracers on thier shins and forearms. Each person had a sword belted at thier hip.
as he lay one of the young men looked at the boy holding the till, for they were on a boat he realized by the rocking and gentle creak of the wood around him, the slight cracking of what had to be ice on water as the man holding the tiller used an oar to push them.
He noticed someone else he hadn't seen in the front. An older boy maybe 19 had a pole in his hand and continually moved it and jabbed down in front of the boat, he must have been trying to break as much as as possible before it hit the front of the boat.
"sit up please"
one of the young women said politely.
He said up as she asked and moved to sit near the center of the boat, it was bigger than he though, there was plenty of room and 4 rows of benches in the center with a mast supported. But as he looked out in the direction they were going he knew this wasn't the main ship.
In the distance a large ship floated anchored and swaying slightly as the cold water slapped it's hull almost as if defying the large vessel. The vessel has 3 masts, One main mast in the center one near the front of the gargantuan vessel and one near the back. It was a grand boat. all of wood, cannons poking thier gleaming metal barrels out of slots in the side of the boat.
Looking around he noticed boxes. Wooden boxes bound in metal bands and large nails all locked
"how did I get here"
he said his voice gruff from lack of use and cold. Last thing he remembered was seeing the gleam of water in the distance and laying down to sleep.
no one answered him but remained silent as he looked on, he didn't push them, for one thing his blade wasn't in it's sheath and he did not know where it was, another thing he didn't want to be dumped into the cold water.
He remained silent as thier small journey moved nearer the large boat.

Silver would continue to talk, even as the metalic noises filled the room. He would continue onto ever tiny detail, even begining to absent mindedly wandering into the magical aspects of the ship. However, when offered with the coat, he nodded and took it. It was a good thing he had the insight to wear his boats instead of his normal footwear, or his feet would have surely frozen.
"Why, thank you."
He put the jacket on, the gloves as well. Putting the hood over his head, Silver wouldn't speak again for a while, meerly in thought as he followed the Doctor outside. He gazed up into the night sky, staring upwards for a good moment as the tundra air chilled him. It was surprizing how quickly the storm had faded around the tower, but Silver thought nothing of it at the moment.

::No nothing could truly be father from the truth. For every moment that there was a black tower bearing a cross and scraping at the cloud whilst cursing god and his creative style....there would be a constant storm churning and brewing and blacking out the sky causing an eternal night over a 2 mile perimeter.
Silver though, while he was victim to the cold might have believed the story was over as he was being currently shielded.
Directly over his head just hovering about 20ft up was a very large object about 60 feet across. Its a bit old, though still in fair condition. Its crimson red with black masts. The etherial and normal sails both carry the symbol of a dragon coiling around the oriental symbols of Dragon and Warrior.
Yes, the ship Silver had spent the last few minutes babbling about non-stop was hovering over their heads currently. And in the distance was a purple glow as M4X provided the anti-grav field and hovered it there.
During this time, the Doctor was silent. He was flipping on and off several seemingly random sets of lenses on his glasses and analyzing the ships every detail. The magical features were easily recognizable by the void which they now sustained, the function of the non-magical was clearly visible to him as well. In a good 45 seconds the Doctor had memorized the structure and contruction of the Dragon Raider. It wasnt too difficult, he had memories the internal structures of several species of human and animal, as any good surgeon would. And this boat was certainly not nearly as complex as a human body.
Infact it was not very complex at all. It was rather...disappointing. And a look of disappointment creeped across his face. How trite, this thing couldnt even fly! And if it was left here inland, it was totally useless. In his mind something so low tech, and magic infested was useless anyway. And Silver had boosted it so greatly. He let out a sigh.::
Dump it.
::He said deftly as he turned to face Silver. And M4X as ever loyal as he was, did just that, the boat flew up a good 80ft and forward a good 40ft, and crashed into the ground as it was flicked by a graviton flux. What condition would it be in when it struck the ground? What with wooden planks and such...who cares?! Though Silver might be shocked as the smash. And for that shock the Doctor had an old piece of wisdom.::
To make an omelet, you muzt break zhe egg. My son vill scavenge zhe usuable parts and ve vill start again.

The boat gently moved sideways as the oarman pushed the small boat sideways. AS he did so 2 ropes dropped down, the oarman tied one in a ring at the back of the boat in a complicated looking knot as the older 'knight' as they called themselves in the front used the same knot on a ring in the front of the boat.
A rope ladder rolled out slapping against the hull of the large boat.
The two boys went up the ladder first, as he waited one of the women pushed him towards the ladder and he began to climb.
as each person climbed up the side of the vessel the rope creaked gently.
as he reached the top strong arms grasped his forearm and helped him the rest of the way up while looking at him puzzled. AS he looked around his eyes seemed to grow in his head, all around him were these 'knights'. The same armor as the 4 he had seen all gleaming in the dull light. All doing thier assigned task, the ships entire deck was buzzing with activity.
The boats constant swaying set him off of balance though these people walked as if they belonged here he was a little off balance while walking. The two men who had brought him here motioned for him, he still had not heard a word from them. Leading him to a set of stairs leading to a door they opened it, showing a dully lit interior of part of the ship. It was a hallway with small lights dotted on the walls. They led him down the corridor and down another flight of stairs before stopping. Pointing at a door one of them opened it and motioned for him to go in
"you'll be here until the captain see's you and decided what to do"
the young man said politely, but his words held nothing but polite formality, he was little more than weight on the ship it seemed for all the man cared, but as long as they didn't throw him off the ship he could be deadweight.
As he walked in one of the boys closed the door and he heard a light click as the bolt was set into place. looking around his vision helped by another light he saw furnitre, a desk chair and bed. Moving he sat on the side of the bed and lay back.
It was actually relatively warm in the room and he enjoyed the contrast from the cold outside. closing his eyes slowly he drifted into sleep.

Several miles south of Silver and the Doctor's Tower, gusts of powerful winds were ravaging the dragon pair. Vargus did what she could to shield Ryugi from the winds that tore across their forms, but with little overall luck. Things weren't going as smoothly as Ryugi had hoped. He struggled to maintain altitude and heading as the winds whipped across his frame. And just when he thought he'd make it out alright, a massive gust pummeled him from the right side, sending him into a dive.
Vargus! Hold on and brace for impact!! This isn't going to be pretty!
The ground nearly one thousand feet below seemed to race up towards Ryugi as he felt Vargus grip his neck tightly. Forrest appeared out of the clouds as he continued to drop, as well as a dark tower off in the distance. Within the last three hundred feet or so, Ryugi snapped his wings open in a last ditch attempt to pull out of the dive, his tail arching up to act as a rudder of sorts. It worked. But not as well as Ryugi had hoped. Luck just wasn't with him today.
He was able to pull out of most of the dive, but seeing he wasn't going to be able to make it all the way, he folded his wings around his body as he slammed into the hard frozen ground. He then slid for nearly two hundred and fifty feet, his wing sliding along the snow-covered ground. Painful, yes, but not terribly damaging. Had Ryugi slammed full speed and high angled into the ground, his wings would have shattered, as well as most of his bones. He finally came to rest with a thud against a large snowdrift. He opened his eyes and looked around, assesing himself and the situation.
From the air, he had seen forrest off to their east, and he'd seen that strange black tower due north. He wasn't sure exactly how far away he was, but he would guess about fourty miles from the tower, and three or four from the forrest. He and Vargus had landed in a snowfield, and like the name suggested, it was snowing. Not heavily, but enough to create a fresh layer of powdery white snow along the ground.
Ryugi let out a sigh and turned his head to look at Vargus, who had crawled off of his neck and was now down on the ground, looking about.
I can see that wasn't the ten point landing I'd been hoping for, but at least we're here. Are you alright?
Vargus smiled and turned to face him as he shifted back into his human form.
I'm fine. And it appears our crate of supplies made it as well. That last ditch slide saved alot of the stuff from going anywhere. And it appears that the things that DID get jostled were held inside your wings when you folded them.
Ryugi stood up as his transformation ended, and he flexed and rubbed his right arm.
A little sore, but nothing I can't compensate for. It just feels like I'd worked it too hard. I guess our luck wasn't as bad as it could have been. We should be thankful for that. Things could be alot worse than they are.
Anyway, I'm going to get dressed up for out here, its chilling me already. Then we'll set out. That tug I was telling you about seems to be pointing me north. The only thing I saw that was north while we were in the air was a wierd black tower of some sort. So, we'll head north.
Ryugi talked as he pulled on his heavy coat and waterproof pants. The sunglasses were next, and he tossed a pair to Vargus as well. After a few minutes, he wrapped his scarf around his face and neck to keep out the cold, and grabbed the rope that was attached to the sled.
Are you sure you want to pull that thing? I mean, I could help if you wanted me to, I really don't mind.
Ryugi shook his head.
No, I'm positive. You did enough while we were flying here. You deserve a rest. So, you can just walk with me and I'll pull the supplies.
Vargus sighed and followed after Ryugi as the pair headed north across the frozen tundra.

"the captain wants you to come, wake up"
someone said near him loudly. Opening his eyes he saw an unfamiliar boy about the age as the ones before wearing the same uniform.
As he got up and rubbed the top of his head slightly he followed the boy out of the room. Their boots making hallow clicks as the nails in the sole hit the wood. Turning down a seperate hallway he knocked on a door.
"you can enter"
said a gruff voice, the captains he assumed. as they entered he found he was mistaken.
A soldier standing next to a woman sitting in a cushioned seat spoke again in the same resonating tones.
"is this the man?"
the boy nodded before saluting and leaving the man in the presence of the soldier and the woman who had to be captain.
She was lean, her skin darkly tanned and smooth except for a pale scar on her left cheek. she wasn't smiling at him but looking at her sword as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. and it was interesting, longer than the swords he had seen on this ship the hilt was silver with a basket on the front of the hilt. the sheath gleamed with a silver emblem, 4 spears crosing eachother making an odd type of star.
She wore a pair of dark shiny boots, propably water treated like the others. Her pants were thick black whool and her coat was thick and gray, much like his own it had white rabbit fir inside the hood and around the neck. Her dark brown hair falling down into the fir on the coat.
Her attention shifted to him in an instant though and he shifted his gaze as to not make her think he was staring.
"Why were you in guldor?"
her voice sounding almost girlish in large comparison to her appearance.
"Looking for a place to stay"
he said in reply smoothly, truthfully.
"but why would you want to stay in a place such as this?"
she said again motioning towards the small porthole behind her were snow was falling lightly
"It's like where I used to live"
he said trying not to lie to much, he didn't know what she knew and what would happen if she found out he was lying.
"can I have my weapon back"
he said hoping she would allow it but she shook her head
"I don't know you, nor can I trust that you won't attack someone in my crew." she said lightly.
"I don't care who you are as soon as we hit port again you're getting dropped off, you can do as you wish until then, don't step out of line"
she said motioning for him to leave. He did so without making comment, she had a weapon he did not. whether she was a woman or not if she was a captain she could fight, so he wandered the ship, he didn't know how long it would be until they hit port, they weren't even moving yet, but he didn't think it would be a very good idea to get lost in the boat.

It was cold. He stood against one of the rails on deck. He watched the buzz of activity for he knew very little of boats and thier workings.
A chill breeze came from the north, apparently a breeze they had wanted. Orders were shouted instantly from the captain as she faced the rest of the ship from the center mast. A slightly raised platform around the mast on which she stood on allowed others to hear and pass on orders. Within minutes what she wanted happened
Snap!
The sails fell as men higher in the masts loosed them and men below pulled them taught as the breeze caught the weathered canvas. As it snapped taught the baot creaked, the wood timbers pushed into movement as the entire ship began to move. Soon it was picking up speed as the steersman began his work setting the ship on whatever course they were to follow.
As the ship began it's voyage he leaned against the rail almost wishing he was back on the ground cold or not cold.

he wandered the great ship for an hour or so before he heard something interesting. The shouts and clash of blades and wood that might be heard in battle. He entered the doors that led to the sound and found himself in a small training hall. A mat in the center for sparring where spars were happening. Captains that he could now recognize fighting 2-3 even 4 knights at once and most of the time coming out on top while the captain watched looking for knights to take officers places if the need became important.
As he watched he laughed as a man was thrown halfway across the room by a well placed kick of one of the knights. It was a mistake he realized as the officer glared at him. He could fight well but he wasn't sure if he was strong enough to beat one of these officers.
As he reached the officer the man smiled warmly, though his eyes gave away his anger at being laughed at by an outsider
"is there a problem"
he said quietly
"no....er no sir just watching the fight"
he stuttered remembering the honorary title 'sir' just barely.
"why don't you join us and do something other than wander around?"
the officer insisted shoving him towards a weapon rack holding wooden weapons for sparring.
"I guess it couldn't be a problem"
he said trying to please the people he would rely on for awhile.
pulling out a blade that looked much like his own but smaller and made of wood he grasped the leather wrapped handle and moved onto the mat where the officer he had laughed at grinned at him holding the wooden short sword.
The officer moved forward quickly and brought his blade into a vertical slash. Matt pushed his blade up and hit the officers blade moving to the side and making a quick stab at the officers side. The officer moved quickly bringing the crossgaurd of the blade into the way and pushing matt away. Matt moved quickly to the side of the officer and slashed hard horizontally bringing his blade at the officers throat where it was stopped but the officers sword, the moment the blades hit matt dropped down and swung his heel around slamming into the officers heel. As the officer lost balance and fell backwards dropping his blade to catch himself matt moved, kicking the blade away and dropping down onto the officers chest with his knees holding his blade against the mans throat before getting up and letting go.
Moving back he smiled as the officer stood up grunting and mumbling angry curses afraid to do much more than that in front of his captain. But the captain wasn't watching from her usual seat anymore. Laughing she had clapped her hands slowly as if applauding and moved in front of him a wooden rapier in her hand.
"ready for a real target?"
she said joking moving right as she spoke. Her blade whipped forward into a short stab that hit nothing but air as matt moved. Bringing his blade down on the rapier blade trying to knock her off balance he grinned as he darted forward blade held to stab. But she seemed to be a blur as she moved out of the way and put her foot out tripping matt. As matt fell onto the floor with a dull thump and a woosh as the air left his body he felt the p***k of the wooden rapier tip against the back of his spine right below the base of his skull.
Laughing she walked off without comment matt rolling and putting the blade back, before walking quickly out of the room and back to his quarters angry that he had lost to her.

Silver was quite surprized to see his ship floating in the air above them. He could only guess what scientific marvels were at work, though he wasn't too far from guessing what forces were at work. So he gazed upward for a minute as the doctor examined his vessel...
...and was cuaght off guard when his ship went crashing into the ice with a loud noise, like a baseball bat shattering on impact. As sturdy as his ship was, it wasn't meant to be tossed through the air like that by any means. The wooden frame splintered and was torn apart, its remains thrown askew across the frozen tundra. The cannons would more than likely be intact, being made out of cast iron. There would be a sound parallel to an extreme amount of escaping wind, as the extra dimensional space was released and completely dispelled.
The mast toppled over like a redwood in a forest, with no boat to hold it in place. With a loud SMASH it crashed into the icy plains. Silver's face darkened considerably. Not only was his ship just demolished, he had no warning of it whatsoever. Which was extremely... rude, to put it incredibly lightly. There wasn't much anything Silver could do about it though; his vessel was already in ruins. The damage was done, and there was work at hand. Besides, he didn't have a better way out of guldor... and the doctor was, in his own sense, helping out considerably.
So he spoke with a grin on his face, as there was not much else he could do than smile. Sure, he was angry, but he wasn't stupid.
"I suppose this is going to be quite some omlette eh?"

Pah...zheres only so much you can do vith a rotten egg.
::The Doctor said as he stepped forward toward the wreckage, he shuffled through a bit of wreckage until he came upon a tiny piece of wood from the wreckage, a tiny piece of metal from the engine, an even smaller piece of liquid which he smeared into a tiny vial along with the bit of wood, the bit of metal and he lifted the vial up to the red light with a smile before tucking it into his pocket and making his way to Silver.::
Itz all in zhe spice Mr. Moonblade.
::With that he walked past Silver and back into the main facility. Where he turned around with a bright smile.::
No time to play in zhe snow, ve've losts of vork to do. Come vith me!
::And with that he made his way back toward the elevator where he would wait for silver whilst swishing the vial in his hands. When Silver entered he would press the button for the 86th floor and sit in wait as the elevator took off toward his lab.::

He walked through the corridors his ego bruised but not destroyed. He had beat her officer, but she was damn good, a deal better than he was, or had ever been. As he opened his door with a creak he looked on the bed and saw what looked like armor A pair of white whool pants and a white wool long sleeved shirt. Thin but surpisingly warm. It was easy to move in. He picked up the breastplate getting his first real look at it for he had avoided staring earlier. buckling it on at the sides and shoulders it was snug and stiff but not unbearable. Last but not least he put on the boots. Thick leather bleached white to match in snow, he laced them tightly, the gleamed with what he assumed to be oil to keep water from soaking into the leather and ruining it. Sitting down stiffly his back forced straight he sighed "wonder how long this will last"

He walked onto deck, the captain was standing where she usually did when nothing was happening. Leaning against the mainmast while her feet rested firmly against a rope ladder leading to a platform above her.
As he walked by she halted him
"take that bracelet off"
she said sharply speaking of the bracelet on his right arm
"Can't"
he said casually not looking at her avoiding eye contact. She was fierce but annoying with how gung ho she seemed to be.
"and why can't you?"
she asked sarcastically
"not something you need to know"
he said a little more sharply then he had meant though it got the point across as she glared at him. The hair on the back of his head prickled lightly, as if she were staring into the back of his skull.
turning he walked back the the main stairway and went down back into the interior of the ship before he made her even angrier. He walked back to his cabin, already he was beginning to recognize parts of the ship, as he walked in and closed the door he lay down and dozed off.

Mamoru:
Mamoru woke up on the bed. Groaning as the ship rocked. A little disoriented at being somewhere he didn't know or remember.
opening the door he walked out confused feeling the walls around him to find where he was going.
as he walked he bumped into someone who jumped in shock as they apparently weren't expecting him.
He heard the metallic whisper of more than one blade leaving thier sheaths and halted as the tip of a blade pricked at his adam's apple.
"who are you?!"
someone asked accenting his words by pressing the blade slightly more agianst his throat.
"my name is mamoru where am I?"
he asked trying to be polite as he could with a blade to his throat, not a good situation.
the man pressed the blade against his throat again
"how did you get on board, you a stowaway? you know what we do to stowaways don't ya boy?"
the man said gruffly as mamoru felt a drop of blood running gently down his throat
"to tell the truth I don't know"
he said relizing his mistake quickly
"smart one are ya?"
the man asked angrily jabbing again still not enough to hurt him much more than a small p***k but it was enough
mamor moved quickly slamming his metal glove against the blade with a ring and going to punch the man but he had forgotten of the second man. For the next thing he knew he was on the ground dazed and the mans blade was ringing from the blow he had given mamoru with the flat.
The man holding the blade he had hit sheathed his blade and towed mamoru on his shoulder, jogging making sure to jostly mamoru he made his way to another room stopping he dropped mamoru with very little care and pulled off his boots, gloves, and worst of all his headband. the man checked him for weapons and he was lifted off the ground and thrown against a wooden wall where he bounced and fell to the floor.
Dazed confused and angry he sat up and kicked out, grunting as his bare heel slammed the rough rusted metal of a bar. Feeling around he knew where he was. A cage.
sitting he seethed as he heard the men walk off with his stuff.
