"Neo can't help but be happy...it's a bloody illness with him and the teacher has a problem with the way I look...at least that's what Neo said after she kept harping on about long hair being inappropriate...I can't help the fact I look so...girly...ugh..." Jay answered, though it was muffled by the pillow he had his face buried in. He let a small yell out and totally blanked Asher's question, he wasn't in the mood to be helpful anymore.
"i'm gonna take a bath" he murmured, he always took a bath when he was feeling particularly put out by something, it was his relaxation technique. Getting up he silently went upstairs and down the hall, into the bathroom where he fill up the big tub and undressing got into the bath. his knees bent and arms wrapped around them as he sat in the bath, his mouth underwater as he thought and let all his anger out.

Asher sighed. "Did I do something wrong?"
"Aside from not being here and using the word help? No." She said, only to receive a glare from the vampire. "Well it's true. We can use you around here more often. I know Julianna and Jay miss you."
He sighed. "I can't just quit."
"No you don't but take vacations and stop getting married to your work. It's not the only thing important, Asher." She frowned a little.
"I'm going to need help with that extra crib. Jay doesn't have to help. I can see about getting ahold of Nishi and having him come down and help when he can."

Nishi used his key to open the front door, him and Alexi walked in holding big cardbaord boxes.
"where did you want this Jay-heywhere'dyougo?" Nishi asked,looking around for his younger brother. Alexi placed the box full of baby stuff down sighed.
"he's probably taking a bath, he alwa bath when hes annoyed"

Asher blinked, looking up at Nishi and Alexi. "Well...speak of the devil." He grinned, a flicker of fang peeking out. It was rare for a master vampire to even show fang unless he decided to eat.
Raven shook her head and stood up, walking over and hugging Nishi and Alexi. "Asher's wanting your help with a few things he bought. Apparently I'm expecting twins..." She wrinkled her nose, wanting to know how Asher knew that when she wasn't sure herself but had the feeling he was right.

Nishi and Alexi both hugged Raven back, they liked her and Asher as they took such good care of Jay. The younger male had definitely opened up a lot more since he had met them.
“Alai will help Asher! I must go and see my younger brother!” Nishi declared happily, dashing up the stairs and down the hall. Even if he was twenty-six, he could still act like a child.
“Jay~!” he called merrily, Alexi shook his head when he heard the argument that ensued.
“Nishi!get out!”
“but I wish to wash your back!~<3”
A crash sounded and splashing of water as Nishi came dashing down the hall, Jay with a towel around his waist and his hair down and dripping wet,following him.
“I told you I hate it when you barge in on me!”
“but I was lonely! And I wanted to make you feel better!”

Raven continued to look at Nishi, not needing to see Jay in nothing but a towel. It was a form of respect.
Asher turned around to blink at the little sight. "Nishi love. I think I'll borrow your help this evening." He smiled, flashing a little hint of fang before he escorted Nishi out to go bring the other crib in and put it together.
Raven called out, "Don't forget to read the instructions!"

Jay had darted into his room when he noticed that Alexi AND Raven were watchign him and Nishi, he shot his older brother a glare and shut the door,wanting to dry and change now his relaxation time was cut very short.
Nishi allowed himself to be escorted out by Asher and grinned, he walked down the stairs with Asher and stopped.
"Jay i'll braid your hair when i'm done helping Asher! okay darling?" he called, slipping into a more....suitable mood for his age.
"really?! okay Nish!" came the excited reply, Nishi had always braided Jay's hair when they were younger and Jay loved it when he did.
Nishi then allowed himself to be escorted out of the house to grab the crib, Alexi shook his head and wandered into the kitchen, turning the oven on he turned to Raven. sweeping his short blondey-brown hair out of his green eyes.
"what would madam like for dinner?" he asked politely, checking through the fridge to see what was available.

Raven followed him into the kitchen. "Does it matter?" She asked sweetly, opening the fridge up to get her bottle of water. So far she was healthy and so were the babies.
Her hunger didn't really care what was made as long as it was food.

Jay came downstairs, fully dressed in a black turtleneck sleeveless sweater and a pair of tight fit jeans.
"how about....spaghetti carbonara?" Jay commented and Alexi brough out the needed ingredients.

"Sure," she agreed, never hearing of it before but she could try it at least. Besides, just about any food sounds good. Even blood was starting to sound good. That was something she needed to talk to Asher about.

Alexi got to work, humming to himself as he searched for the proper pans and bowls needed. Jay sat on the floor infront of the couch, a can of grape soda in hand. He picked the remote control for the TV up and switched it on, taking a sip as he watched a show. He swept his nearly dry hair back so now it lay on the sofa.
Merethist was sat on a bar stoll in the kitchen,playing with a rubix cube as Alexi worked around him. He frowned when he couldn't figure out how to make all the blocks match up properly.
"let's get this hair braided then" Nishi said, put the cot part he was carrying down and walking over to sit behind jay,taking a brush and a hair tie he brushed through the long silver-blonde strands,smiling as he hummed.
"O friends, Not these sounds,But let us strike up more pleasant sounds and more joyful"
Jay sang softly, Nishi smiled. He was rather surprised Jay still remembered Beethoven's ninth after so long.
"Joy, o wondrous spark divine,
Daughter of Elysium,
Drunk with fire now we enter,
Heavenly one, your holy shrine." he continued as Nishi hummed the symphony out, ALexi chuckled but stayed quiet.

Asher paused to watched Jay's hair get braided. It wasn't often that the lighting was just right that he got to see Jay's silver in his blonde hair. He found he liked silver on Jay...
Raven idly sat by, watching Alexi begin to work.

Jay stopped singing but began mouthing the words, his eyes flutterign shut as he relaxed totally. It was his favourite past time, getting his hair braided by his older brother. Jay and Nishi had a very close relationship as did Aiden, but Nishi and Aiden were more protective of Jay than each other.
"there you are sweetheart" Nishi murmured, flicking Jay's braid down so it rested over his left shoulder and down his front. Jay murmured a thankyou but stayed, his hands clasping Nishi's.
"thanks Onii-chan" he murmured, smiling.
Alexi put the spaghetti into a pan of water to boil and started cutting up the mushrooms.
"I was wandering when you two would start to hang out again, Nish,Jay." they both looked up at him. "both of you have been busying yourselves too much, ad Aiden and me have too, we should all have a day out together...just like old times. Or we could take everyone on a holiday to the villa your parents own on Gambino"

[[flashback time]]
"I'll be back in two days, be good for Asher and Raven, Merethist" Jay said, smiling as he clutched a bag of clothes in one hand. He was in his family's traditional robes--meaning they weren't that used anymore-- he more white silk baggy pants, a white kimono top with an obi of red, a golden stitch of shooting stars as the pattern. His hair tie was of the same design as his Obi, as was his collar and cuffs to the kimono top.
"kay Ay! bye bye!" Merethist chirped, clinging to Asher's leg. Jay hadn't been anywhere for a long ammount of time without him before,so he was worried. Jay kissed Raven, Asher and the Underas' on the cheek before walking out the door, past Nishi who had come to pick him up. Nishi sent Raven and Asher a reassuring smile.
"uncle only wants to check up on Jay, don't worry, he'll be back as healthy as ever on tuesday" Nishi said soothingly and waving, shut the door after he had walked out.
'damn, this is bad'
it was nearly five days after Jay was supposed to have returned.
Nishi was sat in his apartment, Aiden beside him. Both were watching the blonde lying still and silent on the couch opposite them. his once gorgeous long silver-blonde hair hacked short--to just past shoulder length-- and his gray eyes dull with sleeplessness and pain.
they wouldn't have thought Uncle Ru would go so far.
Ru had been outraged when Jay refused an arranged marriage and the opportunity to succeed him and in a blind rage had hurt Jay. The blonde's arms were covered in bruises and his cheek had a small cut on it.
He didn't look like the Jay they had once known.
"Jay you need to go back, you have a child--nay,two children--on the way"Nishi said soothingly, sighing when he was answered with silence. He stood, snapping Aiden out of his thoughts.
"watch over him, i'm getting help"
Aiden nodded as Nishi left.
Nishi arrived at Asher,Raven and Jay's house a few minutes later, worried as to what their reaction would be to Jay's current state. He walked to the front door and using his key opened it.
"Asher,Raven I have to tell you something...about Jay"

Raven had managed to finish what she was eating and was looking up at Nishi. Her form was relaxed, it had to be otherwise her emotions would upset the twins and she far along enough to where she could go into labor anyday and deliever safely.
"What's wrong with Jay?" She asked. She had been worried about why he hadn't returned yet but things came up at times. Apparently this is one of them.
Asher had managed to get time off work, with Raven's help, and was sitting, watching Nishi when he mentioned Jay, trying his best not to be a smartass.
