"KANE!" Takeko exclaimed, shocked at her son's obscene behavior. Even in his condition!

Sighing softly, she shook her head tiredly and turned back to Alaera. "In a manner of speaking, yes, I am." She nodded with a smile. "I raised him through childhood at least. I'm afraid I hadn't seen him since until he showed up at the door earlier in this condition." She couldn't help but notice the casual nature in which Alaera seemed to interact with her feral son. He wouldn't have literally tried to eat her, then, right? Probably just surprised her in the woods or something at some point while on one of his hunts.

She couldn't deny the strange warmth in her chest, however, at Alaera's own reproach towards her son. Miracle of all miracles, it seemed that the green angel wasn't the only one who worried about the feral male. "It's a pleasure to meet you both," she said warmly, bowing slightly. "Could I get either of you anything to eat or drink? I'm sure I could find us all something here."

Kane only rolled his eyes, ignoring the repremands from both females and snarling weakly in response. He didn't need some silly femmes telling him what to do or how to act. At least his normal attitude seemed to have returned. That was a good sign...well, for him at least, if not anyone else.

"Hey..." he coughed weakly, his voice quiet and a bit rough. Reaching up, he swatted Alaera's arm lightly, only to catch her attention in case she hadn't heard him. "Changed again...kept control this time..." He smirked, unsure of exactly why he was telling her this. Perhaps it was only his male ego, proud of what he labeled an accomplishment. It had nothing to do with his current condition afterall.

Sylvestanya shook her head. "Oh no thank you, we were just here to get Alaera's ankle looked at, she's been limping around for quite long enough already" She looked reproachfully over at her sister to she her just shrug. "We really shouldn't stay that long, I'm sure Kane needs his rest..." the ghost had started to say....

Alaera had looked back and forth between the female and the injured male on the bed. Feeling his touch on her arm, she drew her mind back to pay attention to him. "Really?" She pulled a chair up next to him. "I'm assuming you were in Dragnid at the time. I wonder if the forest has something to do with you transforming? I think that's what made us lose our minds that time, there's something seriously wrong with that place.....Did it hurt as badly as last time? Maybe if it keeps happening, you've eventually be able to control it. ..You think?"

"...or not" Sylve continued. She sighed and pulled up a seat next to Takeko, noticing the baby boy sleeping nearby for the first time. "Aww he's so cute!" she crooned.

Takeko smiled and turned from Sylvestanya to Melek and back again. "Melek is quite the darling child. I know we should have probably left to let Kane get some rest, but it seems that Melek's grown rather attached to that particular chair. I'm starting to think he'd rather sleep there than in a normal bed!" She laughed, a light, melodious sound that carried through the warm air of the Healing House.

She crossed to pick up Melek who squirmed a bit, but remained asleep. Turning back to Sylvestanya, she smiled. "You can hold him if you'd like." Her attention was also drawn toward the other young woman talking to her oldest son. Dragnid? The two of them had both been in that evil forest?

Kane gave a weak nod. "Still hurt...that didn't change." His breathing was shallow, betraying how exhausted he still was, despite the faes' excellent care. He could barely suppress the irritation he felt that he couldn't follow up these leads himself...though...that didn't mean he couldn't get some others to do a little footwork for him while he recovered.

Eyes narrowed and suddenly clearer than they had been since he'd awakened, Kane focused on Alaera's face. "Listen...something wrong with that forest...something dark and powerful in the heart...I tried to get close, but was attacked...horrible, warped creatures. Like cats...and scorpions combined with...something else. But, not important. Something in that forest...something evil and must find...out...what..."

He sighed, collapsing back onto the bed from the effort of talking so much. He'd figured some of the beasts' poison must have gotten into his system and from the looks of it, it wasn't all gone yet either. Maybe Alaera knew someone who could follow up on this mystery; maybe not. Surely, she had the sense not to go into the forest on her own and try and face those creatures; not after what had already happened to Kane. Whatever was going on though, the feral feline planned to find out...
