Amaya looked up at Nita as she came over, offering her a tiny smile. She decided to just remain silent for now. There was nothing she could do if she were to get between a pissed off squirrel and a newbie who didn't know when to shut his mouth.

She did, however, offer her clawed hands to him as he stumbled forward.

Nita smiled back at Amaya and rolled her eyes in Miller's direction. "What'd he say to her?" she asked, wrapping one hand around Miller's wrist. Forcibly hauling him towards the chairs set up along the edge of the tent. It was probably best to get him away from as many people as possible.

Miller looked at Amya breifly as she offered a hand to help him. He would have taken it had Nita not tugged him off to a chair at the edge of the tent. He had no complaints though. He fell over in one of the chairs watching Nita and Amaya talk, everything still looked fuzzy but at least it wasn't so loud any more.

"Antony said that he said we'd all look better as fur coats and stuff." The girl felt like she was tattle-tailing. She followed Nita as she dragged the still human back over, taking note of her changes but not saying anything about it. It wasn't worth it to bring up the obvious.

Nita raised a brow and turned to Miller. "Did you? Because that would have been really stupid. Although, I guess that means you believe me now." She indicated her dress and veil. "See now, this is a costume."

Miller rolled his head first to look at Amya then back to Nita, "No... I didn't... called her crazy... she was getting pissy because... asked why so many tails... she got snappy... I snapped back... boom bottle..." slumped down in the chair a bit resting his head against the back of it closeing his eyes.

He peeked one eye open at Nita with a frown, "...Fine you win... I belive... you..." he muttered before leaning his head back again.

Amaya continued to stay silent, listening to both of them before speaking up again. "Well how would she know why she has so many tails? The staff probably added it for shits 'n giggles." She frowned.

"Wouldn't put it past 'em," Nita muttered. Pursing her lips, she clicked her tongue against her teeth. "It looks like the bleeding's stopped," she said, pulling the napkins away from Miller's head. She moved away for a moment to throw them away, returning with a couple of ice cubes wrapped in a clean napkin. "Seriously, Miller, you're gonna need to watch yourself around here. Getting smacked with a bottle is bad enough; you're lucky she's not turning into something really fierce."

Jamal finally had enough meat and now was seriously craving some alcohol. The tiger hadn't had a drop of booze in ages; he'd long ran out at his duplex and had taken what little he did have back to the jungle when he first started doing the 'jungle-man' bit. He went to see what was around and to see if he could manage to pour himself a drink with his pain-in-the-a** costume.

"I asked if... it was suaposed to happen, extra tails... she got pissed... thats all that matters... she's a psycho..." When Nita returned he took the ice cubes and napkin pressing it to his head again frowning. "Well she's certianlly not your normal garden squirrle..." he mumbled.

He looked at Nita again frowning, "Who's him... Sabin?" he frowned, was Sabin the one who did all of this?

The lizard just shook her head. This guy sure had a thick skull. "It's best not to ask people about things like that." She said, her voice the only thing even remotly close to being female.

Zach continued to try to steal Emer's attention away through whatever means his drunken thought process could invent. Any way to get Emerwyn's attention! So he hadn't been able to trip Rex... it was always something to consider for later in the night. The lion deserved it.

However, he couldn't stay out there in the open dance area forever. The alcohol had worked its way through his system and his bladder made its demands. It was back to the duplex for him, at least for the moment. He gave Rex an icy stare, saying nothing, then leaned toward Emerwyn to speak in a low, suspicious voice. The warning words were slurred together. "I have t'go... don't let'm bite you'rr anythin'... like that... he'sss kinna violent."

With that, he forced his way through the colorful crowd of milling, talking animal people, too dazed to put names to the faces that he made eye contact with. He slipped out of the tent into the warm early evening and stumbled away at a brisk pace.

Richard witnessed the whole scene from across the room at the bar and it was over too fast for him to react. Belatedly he made his way over to Nita and Amaya.

"Is the boy going to be alright?" He sounded concerned.

Jamal stared. And stared. And start some more. He had no bright ideas on how to do this in a suave, non-attention grabbing manner, but the man wanted a ******** drink. He deserved that much.

Deciding he hadn't really garnered much attention anyway, he'd be fine to let his guard down a little. He slipped one arm out the hole he had made previously and wrapped his mit around a half-empty bottle of Captain Morgan. Not first choice, but it was close and easily enough carried. From the inside, he cut another hole in his sheet at approximately mouth height. Here, easy alcohol access.

Feeling rather smug, he again left the tables, wandering off to to a corner of the tent with his bottle of rum, sliding the mouth of the bottle carefully into the hole he made up top, and chugged some straight.

Nita almost laughed. "No one here can really be called 'normal.'" She sighed, nodding her agreement at Amaya. "A lot of people are considerably more touchy when it comes to questions like that. And no one likes being treated like they're crazy, or a freak."

Nodding again, Nita continued. "Duvert, Moreau, Lockheart. They're the main doctors here, in charge of everything."

A somewhat familiar voice asked a question; Nita looked up. Was that Richard? Her eyes widened slightly at the "soldiers." "I think so," she said. "Probably just have a nasty bump in the morning."
