Locke and Robin were "special friends," to say the least [ xd ], but then her family got mad and split them up.

Valts and Laureth had a conversation, but neither is really set on each other. They're still up in the air [and both played by me, so it would probably be a little awkward to do love scenes with myself xd ].

Jean is with no one, I believe, and neither is Manna [who got abandoned in the ocean, lol].

Mae and Seiji were talking...and....

(Well, I kind of want Ashen to have a boyfriend as long as things don't get too serius.[Glances at Robin and Locke.] The only boy left is Valts and he is 6 years older then she is...Besides it won't be fare to Freaksrus if in case she wants Jean to have someone...Somebody has to make another Dude! xp Or maybe we could make all the boys leave and have an all girl town! xd Just kidding.)

A light breeze manipulated the cloud of dust as it rose higher still into the atmosphere, and perhaps into the view of those who might inhabit the town ahead. It was her destination after all, so let them see! Such was the errant thought that flitted through her conciousness as the woman stared out the window of her cab and allowed her molten optics to scan a slowly emptying world beyond. So this was the country…a lush place, albeit slightly deserted, that offered opportunity to those in such similar situations that a new start was called for, away from the tainted society that dwelled within cities far, far away from the pristine wilderness.

Slower, slower still, eventually rolling to a dead halt as the vehicle wound its way into town, and to the site that the passenger within would soon call home. The door was flung open, and from the dark confines of its keep, the supple figure of a young woman sprang into the sunlight, making no effort at all to conceal her coming to the town. “And here I am! Let there be much celebration, my loyal employees, for I have arrived!!!”




..........Nothing.


One eye opened then, a ruby in its own right that held the secretive, and alluring hues of red that now fell upon a sight that would take all her self control not to scream over. The building was in shambles! Before anything of such magnitude even registered, the cab driver had stepped out and unloaded her luggage, taking his share of her finance with him before finally stepping back in and driving away, without anything to be done about the woman’s dilemma. Thus, she was left alone then, both eyes wide as dinner plates as they continually oscillated over the sight, hoping that it was simply some cruel trick of sight that was causing the beautiful Inn she’d been promised to look so….so….hideous!

However, such was not the case. The building was old, its once marvelous being having fallen into disrepair with shattered windows, apparent rot in the lumber, and what appeared to be large portions of the roof having fallen off some long year ago – offering every creature great and small to nest and abandon it before she’d even gotten to see what had been its previous inhabitant. Not that she’d been informed about this. The city never had been kind, and it hadn’t been the first time some shifty real estate agent had swindled some young person into spending every cent upon some dump, she was sure, but still, why her? Why her indeed, although wondering such would do nothing to remedy the situation.

As such, she picked up her bags and hesitantly stepped inside, hoping the wiring wasn’t as bad as the rest of the structure as an ivory digit extended to flick the light switch on. It was here that fortune was kind, for the lights came on without too many sparks flying about, sparing her one greater expense than what already had begun to total in her mind.


Such was the arrival into a one way town, and the beginning of a chain of significant events that would occur to change the Inn and its Keeper, and perhaps other lives along with it.

Ooc: She's opening her own Inn, that was supposed to be fully functional, staffed, and furnished when she got there - but apparently the man she bought it from was just another one of those street scammers. xd What storyline is that, praytell? ninja

Ic: “What do you MEAN he wasn’t a licensed vendor?!!”

It was the first (along the stream of many ‘********) that fell heavily from her lips as she addressed the city’s chief of police. “I’m sorry, Miss, but there’s nothing we can do. You willingly signed the contract, while neglecting to read the fine print…it’s technically legal, as you’ve already set foot on the property line. There’s nothing we can do.” The woman continued to rant and rave into the phone for more than a few minutes, but by the time an hour had passed, she was simply too exhausted with the matter to care.

The phone was shut, cutting the conversation, and again, the low, soft tones fell from her as she rested her face within her palm. “******** am I supposed to attract anyone to….to…to THIS place?” Not that she’d looked over it yet, oh no, for that was not an option right now. She was much too upset at the moment, and as her temper usually escalated to a point beyond civil behavior, it was probably a good thing that she’d confined herself to the only room within the building that actually met the criteria set before her in the contract.

It was the master bedroom, a lovely suite in its own right, having probably been catered to but a day or so before she’d arrived. The walls resonated the colors of warm seduction, albeit was not presented without a class that even those merely catching a glimpse might waver to look on into the refined quarters of the Inn Keeper. Dark cherry wood furniture from a long passed age inhabited the chamber, giving presence, although not impeding a calm flow that welcomed one into the space to marvel at the fine details of art and poetic flare set into motion through the room. In a nutshell, a paradise. One that she’d paid more than enough for, without counting the rest of the expenses that were supposed to have been lavishly bestowed upon the property.

The supple frame pressed itself from the soft depths of the silken sheets, and to the window she made her way to cast a detached glance about the slowly developing town that was to, from that morning on, to be her home. There were farms in the distance, appearing to have just been born. They were by no means pretty, yet, but with time she was sure they would provide a lovely attraction to some wayward guests who had never once seen such things as a cow or chicken. Beyond that lay a forest that seemed to sweep its hallowed boughs about the vicinity, cradling the human dwellings with the maternal tenderness of some earthen mother.

She was sure there was more to be seen, but before they would be recognized, the prior locations were jotted down to memory and she started towards the exit to explore what else there was to make profit off of…or to be had for herself. Either one suited her. For now, she merely shrugged her jacket a little closer on and started through the shops, eventually to head then on towards the farms.

( I thought it was possible to have more than one? I haven't even seen the other innkeeper around...or anyone else. sweatdrop )

"What a refreshing nap!" Jean got up and went to her lab. "Oh dear! I forgot to get supplies!" She quickly walked out of the Clinic and headed to the store.
