Charmaine Kitteridge ok so introduction...well I'm 23 been married for 3 years (as of tomorrow). My hubby and I are expecting our first child any day now. The official due date is Jan 13th. My husband is also a member of Gaia and may also join this guild. I recently came across this guild during the New Year's event. And I'm glad I did, it's nice to know that there are others out there like us. My interests as of now are books, anything baby related, roleplaying and religious discussions. Oh and playing D20 Modern. I'm a housewife, at least I will be again once I can move around again xp And I think that's it. So HI! biggrin And I am her husband. She knows how much I love bursting people's bubbles about selfishness, and especially people who act like the kids they CHOSE to have are some kind of incovenience or trophy to parade around and then shelf, so she thought I'd enjoy some of the rant-type threads. So, here I am!

Hi. I'm Donnacella. I am a 33 year old, very recently divorced mother of a 10 year-old son and a 5 year-old daughter. I found this guild when I saw the banner in someone else's signature.
I am excited to be here... and to know there are so many others like me here on Gaia.

Hello all. I am a 35 year old mother of three. Two girls 13, and 10 and one boy 12. I have been a stay at home mom from the beginning, although, I have worked on and off as the kids scedules have allowed.
We pulled the kids out of public school for a year, and homeschooled, because we had fundamental diferencences with the principal. But she left last summer and the kids are now back in school. And the kids attitudes are off the charts.
I am now watching my BF's 5yold and 11 yold after school, and my 8 yold nephew and 3,and 11 yold neices.
My son has oriental wepons class once a week, my youngest has gymnastics and girl Scouts, and my eldest wants to rock climb and has asked me to start a Girl Scout troop in her middle school so she and her friends can particapate in those activitys. And the other kids I watch have playdates, classes, girl scouts, etc. that I sometimes am driving them to and from.
I am a wedding photogapher with my BF (more her thing than mine, I am not exactly a chirch goer) on the weekends during the season, which has not started yet. Although, the first show is next weekend.
And I read. Alot. Mostly fantasy and sci-fi and science mags. And lately I have gotten several catalogs a week.
The thing is, I feel like I am constantly busy, with no time, and yet I don't feel like I do anything. Yet I am always stressed.
I am doing nothing for myself. I don't know even what I want to do. I seem to be unable to find something to do with my life that is all about me. Instead, my whole life revolves around everyone elses lifes and what they need. and it has finaly pissed me off. but I don't know what else to do. I feel like a four yold that isn't geting her way and I know its not what I want but I don't know what it is that I do want. so, I am throwing a big tantrum. and that makes me feel idiotic and selfish.
So, that is why I am here. I am hoping that this is a *my kids are tweens and teens* type of thing. I am hoping that there is someone else out there that is going through what I am, so that we can at least compare notes.

hello, my name is Elizabeth. i live in Nova Scotia, Canada. i am 19 years old and am the proud mother of a perfect little boy. his name is Ean Jakob and he will be 6 weeks old this saturday. i have been married to his father since sept 3/ 05 but we've been together off and on since late novemeber 2004.

Hi, my name is Mandy. I'm 27 and I've been married for 6 years and have a 3 month old named Lauren. I thought I'd see if Gaia had a guild with other parents and was thrilled to find this one! I think there's been nothing more rewarding as being Lauren's Mom! I look forward to getting to know you guys.

Hello, my name is melissa. I am a first time mother of a beautiful one month old little girl. Im married to a man in the air force so we'll be traveling alot...but for now we are in louisiana. Im a stay at home mom and sometimes i think that being a new mom is too hard but then i look into the eyes of my baby and it makes all the worries go away. Greetings all. I am Stormy or Sara. I am 29 years old and have 2 beautiful little girls, ages 5 and almost 3. Skyla and Haley named for the sky like things. I live in Texas at the moment but probably not for long. I am not married, and not interested in getting married at the moment. I have real commitment issues. Been hurt alot, but feel lucky to have loved at all. I have lots of hobbies and interests, more about that later. For now I am Mom unemployed and trying to find a legitimate job I can do from home. Anybody know of any? lol Anyway it is good to be amongst other parents. Hope to get to know some ppl here soon smile

Hi I am ladydarkmoonstrom and a first time mother. I have an eight month old daughter that is my life. Never been awhile from her longer than 5 minutes or so. She has became my life. I am married and 25 years old and love life to the fullest. My husband is a full time Culinary Student who spends as much time as he can with her but is trying to get his degree so he can take care of us better.
