He released her from his hold when she gasped, startled, and quickly apologetic. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." he said quickly, taking her by the waist and hoisting her off of his lap onto the bed beside him. "I was healing you. Again." He smiled a little. "I haven't healed a burn so deep in a long time, and never on anyone other than myself." He started talking again, chatteirng about everything and nothing in particular. He stood and turned to the dresser. "I'll get you something...more appropriate to wear. And work on making you a new bodice. Can you sew? Do you know how to make a bodice? I've never made one before. Obviously." He sat back down on the bed, holding a new shirt for her, various sewing materials, and a salve of some sort in a small container. "Now, before you change, let me see your back. Just in case. You never told me how old you are, you know. Or if your eyes are natural. You sure do avoid questions well. And you keep talking about wanting my trust. I hardly know anything about you."

Kelala sighed softly as she turned around so her back was facing him. After a moment or two her back was bare to him showing him the burn. "You didn't hurt me I was just suprised. Thankyou for healing me again. Yes I can sew and make a bodice its rather easy. As for my eyes there natural my mother and father both had gold eyes as well." She was taking deep breaths to calm down her racing heart. Keeping her head low since she was blushing so badly. Luckily her long raven locks could hid her face very well. She rather keep avoiding the questions but he was persistant. And what was his obsession with eyes?

Ovaan allowed hismelf to breathe a sigh of relief. "Good. I don't want to even guess how you're supposed to make a bodice." He fell silent as he placed both hands on her back, closing his eyes so he could concentrate. Still, it was kind of hard to keep his focus when he was touching her bare skin. "You're still a little...tender. The skin isn't completely healed. It needs more time." He murmurred. "It should be fine by morning, if you get some rest."

"Ok...thanks once again Ovaan." Kelala said softly as she wrapped her arms around her self. Wishing for a new shirt a the moment. In the morning she should try and escape again...maybe she can make it htis time. She can't stay here with him just becuase they kissed and she enjoyed it. She just coudln't stay here.

He could tell from her body language that she was uncomfortable. He removed his hands from her back, allowing himself the bonus of lightly brushing her back with his fingertips as his hands descended. "Here's a better shirt." He said helpfully, handing her the shirt he'd fetched for her. "Just remember to sleep on your stomach tonight."

"I will." She said as she grabbed the shirt slipping it on carefully mindful of her back. With a sigh of relief she got off his bed and turned to walk over to the nest of blankets she had been sleeping on. In her mind she tried to figure out how she would escape this time.

"Wait." Ovaan said, thinking fast. He reached out and caught her elbow, pulling her back. "You can use my bed." This was quite a noble move of his, as his bed was his most prized piece of furniture. But he figured he ought to be particularly charming towards her if he was going to keep her with him forever. He stood, quickly explaining his actions, "You're the one that's hurt and everything..."

"No Ovaan that isn't fair that I take your bed." Kelala said tempted to step back but decided against it. Atleast he wasn't suggesting they sleep in the bed together.

"I'll sleep on the floor tonight." He said boldly. He hadn't slept on the floor in at least ten years. That meant he wasn't going to be getting much sleep at all, but he would suffer if it meant she would stay. "Tomorrow I can make you your own bed, so you'll be more comfortable." He told her happily, arranging clean blankets onto her bed in a way that would be comfortable for her to sleep on her stomach.

"I'll be fine on the floor you wont sleep well if you sleep on the floor." Kelala said as she stepped back watching him arrange the bed for her. Why was he being nice all the sudden. It just didn't make sense. The other day he tried to tie her down and now he was offering his bed willingly.

What? She was denying him the happiness of giving up his bed for her?! That was so wrong! There had to be something against that in the ettiquette books. Ovaan pouted, very distressed that she would refuse. "No." He said stubbornly. "You're sleeping in the bed. I'll put you to sleep myself, if I have to."

Kelala froze then stared at him blinking a few times. "You wouldn't dare." The image of him holding her trying to put her to sleep flashed through her mind. A pink blush that wouldnt leave her tinted her cheeks.

"I might." he snapped, grouchy that she wasn't accepting his gift. "Don't tempt me." He put his hands on his hips, a natural move for him, as his wings lifted slightly. He suddenly looked a lot bigger than usual. The pose was a natural instinct to make himself look more intimidating when he was upset. He was already a little taller than she, and this added to the effect. Despite his usual mood-swings and clinginess, he suddenly looked very masculine and powerful as well.

Kelala gasped and tumbled backwards on the bed. Some how her skirt pooled around her knees showing some of her legs that were scarred. Blinking a few times she never broke eye contact with him.

Her gasp caused him to inhale in surprise as well, and immediately the illusion was lost. He wasn't scared, just startled. Moving like that was so natural for him, he didn't realize that he actually looked scary when he did. His eyes swirled from threatening, unhappy red to a worried blue as he saw the scars on her legs. "What happened?" He asked, concerned. And in the back of his mind; Did I do that?
