Chloe nodded, "You're right. I still can't really forgive myself for letting Lance complete that blade back on Stark Mountain. I still know there's no real chance of me getting it back, but I think if we all work together, we stand a chance. It'll be the same here," she hoped, at least.
"I can't even begin to guess at the horrors Notaro would cause if he had Arceus under his power," Chloe shivered. She'd only run into the madman a handful of times, but that was more than enough. She wasn't too keen on facing off against him again, but she knew that there really wasn't any other choice.
"We have to stop him," she nodded.

"Sure, I'd love to tag along," Chloe grinned easily with a nod to Julian's suggestion. She'd definitely be game for heading anywhere that wasn't covered in snow. The dragon trainer had to admit, though, the town certainly was pretty. It was just a little too chilly for her tastes. So she definitely wouldn't be building any summer home here. But it was tolerable.
She watched the snow fall for a few moments. It was kinda cool how it muffled all the sounds of the city, she mused.
"I think you'll do fine earning a few new badges," she commented finally, setting Lucrezia onto her shoulder, the white Buneary settling into Chloe's hood contentedly as she watched the two humans quietly. She didn't seem to talk much...
"The way you handled yourself in Iron Mountain was impressive," she grinned, "I think the gym leaders should be a piece of cake."
"Guess the question is wanna take the scenic route, or just fly to the town with the train we need to Kanto," she laughed, "I'll have to grab Saku back out of my pc if we're flying, though."

"I'll go grab Saku from my PC then. We can just fly to Veilstone, then take the train to Goldenrod," she reasoned, "From there it should be just a short trip to pretty much anyplace in Kanto."

Chloe started back towards the Pokecenter, Enyo still hovering along behind her. However, she didn't make it to the doors before she spotted something in the snow in front of the Pokecenter. It took Chloe a moment to recognize the Pokemon, but soon took a step back.
"Ah, its a Machoke," she muttered. She never really liked fighting types.
"Well, Lantis, this one's yours," she called, making sure Enyo didn't hover in without thinking like last time. That wouldn't bode well for the little Aron.
Chloe summoned the Latios before her,
"A couple of Psywaves should put this one to rest," she offered to the psychic dragon, who only smiled faintly as he nodded. He turned to the Machoke, releasing a psychic blast of energy that had the fighting type struggling to regain its footing. Once he had done so, the Machoke struck back with a Vital Throw, grappling with Lantis before tossing the dragon, putting its muscles to good use.
Lantis was quick to recover, as Chloe called for another Psybeam, he let loose another blast, putting the Machoke down.
"Awesome job," she grinned, recalling the Latios.

When he did notice he quickly sent out Hizahi. "Zen headbutt until it can't fight any longer." He commanded the pokemon who followed the order and eventually knocked out the fighting type with little damage on his side. Julian healed Hizashi and then returned him to his pokeball. "Good job, time for some rest." He then turned to Chloe. "Your battle was good as well Chloe."
