She did have a point...
Following her close behind, he opened the door he so quickly closed from fleeing after her just by the gust of wing created at the serpant's movements. Moving aside for her to go inside, he kept his eyes on her own... knowing it'd be best to just let her know the truth.
"I meant it when I told you there wasn't a moment I didn't love you... but I only said such things out of fear of scaring you away." There... the honest truth. He wasn't afraid to admit his fear... even if it made him a 'fluff'.
"You would have ran off I'd suspected if I said that I loved you right off the bat." He assured her in a light manner. At least, that was his assumption.
"Granted I shouldn't assume..."

He sighed and let his back drop back agaist the wall, minding his wings and spreading them out limply as he kept his golden hues ot her green.
"I understand this my love... but, I'm not experienced in this. You're the first and only woman I've ever felt this for... I'm not used to a relationship since this is my first. However... it doens't mean I'm going to lie about anything. I was just scared on how you'd react, with obviously good reason." His tone soft.
"I would sooner spill my own blood then lie and harm you, Solstice." He poised himself, leting his body lift from being placed against the door.

"Greenhorn?" He sounded confused for a moment and shifted his glance to follow her hand.
"Well... I hope that's not a problem..." He smiled slightly.
Feeling the lightness of fher digits rolling across his cheek, a small shiver rolled through his body, sounding his rattle into a calm lull.
Following behind her, he closed the door and turned to look to his only love.
"I won't lie again..." He whispered lightly and moved towards the bed and shifting the covers to make it more comfortable for her.

Only a minor nuisance. >>Solstice slipped into his bed, resting her head delicately onto the pillow to look up at him. It amused her slightly to think that her punch would make a bruise later. It was never wise to lie to her, no matter for what reason<< Good... >>And now she watched him carefully, wondering if he would slip into the space in the bed she had specifically left free for him...or curl up by the fire to sleep. He remained quiet as he felt her wieght shifting the bed as her lightly clothed body resided in his bed. His eyes watching her closely and taking note to the space she seemed to leave him.
"Would you prefer me to sleep with you in the bed, mind you I won't touch you exually... or sleep by the fire and leave you be?" He asked softly.
"Either way... you being at leats in the same room is nice." He let his tone lower gently, keeping his eyes locked to her.

What was he supposta say to that?! He knew if he aid the wrong thing, he'd be put in the dog-house and have to earn the right back just to even LOOK at her. A little bit of a shift in the eyes away from those beautiful obviously skeemingly devious eyes of hers, he bit softly to his lower lip.
"Well, You'd probably would like me to be close... but not violatingly close." He thought aloud.
"Thus, there could be me sleeping on the edge of the bed beside you.. oor, sleeping beside the bed next to you." He motioned both. Either way, he'd be close but not too close. Last thing he'd want is for her to get the idea in her head that he was a pervert.

Set's brain was quickly becoming this = burning_eyes
Her constant tests were wearing a hole in his mind and he couldn't help but want to rip it out and throw it into the fire.
Oh well, she at least made the relationship interesting.
His hands slightly smoothing over the side of the bed, he thought hard about it.
"Well, it's too soon to be sleeping in a bed together, so I think it'd be best if I slept beside the bed close to you... that manner, I won't make it odd since we'd just started dating." He felt that was right in his mind.
However... what if she wanted him next to her?

His mind was going to explode into a thousand little bits of grey matter!!!
Why couldn't he have some sort of mind reading power?!

The more so depressing factor wasn't that he wouldn't get to sleep in his bed, but that he wasn't to share it with his love.
A sigh slipped his lips.
There was no way he'd be able to fix this tonight, for if he tried... she'd kick his a**.
"I'd love to sleep with you, but I don't want to push my luck." He stated and looked away, becoming close on the floor beside her.
"I just want you comfortable, Solstice." He finnished. "However, I judged wrong and now I'll sleep here if you please." He folded his arms, feeling the gentle p***k of his stupid choice of saying that.
