darkside88 *looks through entire topic* Not a single G&L. No love for Leo's masterpieces, until now. Here's a shot of my Tribby and a bass not uncommon here, or anywhere, my now defretted Ibanez GSR200: Some...two odd years ago, when my Ib had it's frets. And a more recent shot: awesome basses!

For a while I wanted to get the tribute L-2500, though the option opened up to me to get a rickenbacker instead. Naturally I went with the rick (though a tribute L-2000 (I've since decided I like 4 strings better) is still up on my "Man do I want" list).
1996 Mapleglo Rickenbacker 4003. <3 The guitarist you can't see is playing an Ibanez GAX70.

I'm happy with my bass right now, maybe latter I'll get a p bass or a j bass, but for now it suits me fine. And I only need like three guitars to be good. Don't need a million and a half.

Well I dont need a million basses either, The basses you see are 4, and of which 1 is a simple Squier precision which is my first bass and which I keep for sentimental reasons....the rest has a purpose! For the modern metal and stuff I use the Ibanez bass(the silver one) but my main bass is a 70ies Westone Thunder bass. And then there is just me acoustic one which is very handy cose in my band there are multiple songs with acoustic bass in it! and the ibanez electric one:p nahh thas just for them powerchords :p the big amp I guess was simply cose I didnt feel like buying a amp, and later a amp that is better, and then a better one etc etc. I decided to get the big stuff immediatly and Hartke aint cheap....and I owed my parents some money for like a year:p but its a investment for life imo smile soo yea thats why I got what I got

I see a guitar standing there too. I'm content with maybe two instruments at most. Your like my brother this guy has like twenty guitars last time I counted. well five is less then twenty, but yeah its still a lot to me. I could see having a sentimental bass and a good bass, and then an accustic or a backup other then that I would never have more it be wierd. I will all ways keep my first bass guitar.

And I use the normal guitar(which is the ultimate el cheapo ibanez!) for songwriting! so yea smile but 20 guitars is nuts!!! I don't need more than I got now all this stuff is exactly what I need and thats it!
