Shizuka wasn't even there. She was shocked that he already knew about what had happened to her in her past. Something in her told her to run, and her feet followed that instinct.

Shizuka couldn't reply, even if she wanted to. Who could have told him?! She just met these people today (making it strange that she already found a best friend) Her better judgeement told her to just leave, but that was just as bad as what Netsubo was going through before. She may have not said anything, but she made a promise, and she didn't turn her back on her word.

Shizuka skidded to a halt and turned to face him. He wasn't deserting her, like everyone else when they figured it out? He thought he was doing something wrong? And what was the buisness between her and Faust?
"What buisness with Faust? Amaya asked no one in particular. The shaman merely shrugged her shoulders.

((Lyserg has no idea about her father. That's what he was trying to find out, but Netsubo wouldn't tell him. Faust confided in Netsubo, and admitted that he was worried about Shizuka, and that's why she was watching them. But Lyserg doesn't know about that, not yet...))

Shizuka was shocked. He knew?! Already?! Man, she needed to work on keeping it a secret better. But she was even more shocked that he accepted her anyway. Two people in her lifetime was a record for her, and in the same day, it was even more unbelievable. The tears slid down her cheeks, but it wasn't in misery anymore.

Shizuka rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his neck. He was... so warm... She hadn't had anyone hug her since she was little and her Kaachan was still alive. She forgot what this was like, too.
