Shinju couldn't help but snicker slightly atb Mazarith's comment. "You know, Mazarith-sama, only you could make a comment like that." Shinju said with a smile. "You know things beyond your age but you act quite your age."

Ryu smiled. "Thats true Mazarith, and if you were refering to Silva and Kisuke, they don't underestimate you. Maybe overestimate, but never underestimate."

"I know, but it's so STUPID! They think they're so great with their freaking knives and staves, and they call kids weaklings! They stole from my family later that night, and took our money, then ran! GRAAAH!!!!"
The memory was taking over his actions, and he stomped on the ground, fire shooting ten feet up into the air then fading.
There was something else they took, but he didn't want to say it.
He began thinking to himself, forgetting to block his mind off.
As a matter of fact, his thoughts were blasting all over the place.
They stole the elder's golden lion statue! It was given to the elder by a friend of hers who passed away two months after!! IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO HER AND THEY STOLE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shinju swayed slightly and began to hum a gentle tune. "Calm yourself Mazarith. Fire is wild but it is calm as well." She said in a sing-song voice. She then smiled very gently at Mazarith.

He suddenly calmed down.
He blocked his mind off.
The block became so strong even Keit would have trouble getting through.
He was getting better. WAY better. It sure took him long enough..
Whoa..She's like Aslinda...She's so calming...But how do they do that?..
"Sorry.." He mumbled.
The calm flame..Aslinda and Shinju both, they can tap into it..
I don't get it...How do they do it?....How?....

((FYI Mazarith, Keit's character is so that no matter what you can't block your thoughts from him and you haven't trained enough to be able to even hinder his efforts a little bit.))

He glanced at Ryu.
"Oh, I'm sure now, Ryu. You think I don't understand the Calm Fire?
I wouldn't have been able to write a song about it, had I been unable to understand it. However, even with that understanding, yes I still need to work on controlling the Calm Fire. I know what to do, and how to do it, but it needs work. What I don't understand, is that how Shinju tapped into my Calm Fire. Shinju and Aslinda both seem to be good at getting into my Calm Fire. However, that shouldn't even be possible. Calm Fire is something that only the person needing to be calmed could tap into.
I'm supposed to be the only one who can reach into my Calm Fire."
(My times of absence I count as Mazarith off training. I use time-gaps,
and Mazarith, even without time-gaps, has been training with mind-blocking for years before he even got there, almost his whole life.
So yeah, I'd say that's long enough to make it difficult for Keit to get in.)

"Nonono, Ryu. Everybody has Calm, only of different types. Humans have normal Calm, creatures of fire have Calm Fire, and so on. And each type has different variations of it. Firin Calm Fire is something odd, I think it has to do with the lion human mix or something..It's supposed to be something that only that Firin can get to..Yet I can't get to it, but certain other people can get to it for me...It's weird.."
(So you don't think his lack of intelligence would count for anything? He has more stored up brain-power than the average person, and can use it to learn skills for combat, mind-blocking, etc. The whole point is so I have a character that's different, instead of a plain old character.)
