Sent didn't even look at her as he snapped his fingers, the robe relocating itself to his body, "Go back to helping the b*****d study. NOW!" He slowly approached the spinning Gate, rising into the air with a strong gust from his wings. He centered himself within the Gate and closed his eyes, curling his wings around him.

And so it was for nearly three hours. Sent remained motionless within the spinning Gate and the two studied the book, reading to try and find a source of greater power.

Tac hushed her, "Sshh...listen." He set a hand to her ear, brushing a bit of hair out of the way first. He closed his eyes for a brief moment as a spark jumped from his fingers to her ear. As he began reading again Mystina's hearing distorted, everything seemed as though it were at the end of a long tunnel, echoing back to her. Yet one voice was clear, Sent's. Though he didn't seem to be speaking he was being projected through time, appearing as a ghost of sorts to speak with the alternate Tac's in other times. She could hear him only for a few brief moments, "...ve you found any le..." When his voice cut out the sounds around began to slowly return to normal as Tac flashed her a smile, "Thats how I hear all the time."

He didn't take his eyes from his reading, speaking rather nonchalantly, "I've gotten used to it. I've had to hear like this for over three years now. And yes, I can hear you just fine. I've learned to adjust it slightly, so I can actually hear things just before they are said. It can get disorienting if I watch their lips though. Hear them speak, then see the mouth move...its hella freaky."

Tac shook his head, "You may see it as a curse, but I see it as one of my biggest gifts. Hell, I can dodge bullets if I listen correctly, hear the shot, anticipate it. You couldn't possibly take away this gift, I'd kill to keep it."

Tac finished up the last bit as she was turning the page, he found an entry on the following page, leaning over to read it more intensely. He mumbled aloud to himself, "Certain elements of the timestream can be manipulated outside the others. This can cause a variety of effects. One can focus on only manipulating one single entity for instance, causing them to age at a rapid rate, or the opposite. This works on the same principle as the Temporal Healing and Temporal Ressurection spells. Hmm...interesting indeed...."

Tac shook his head, "That would require too much time. With this though...with this I can even affect molecules, atoms, protons, neutrons, electrons, quarks...maybe even strings."

Tac shook his head, "No, its complicated. If one can manipulate such things...then one can change the speed of vibration, reshaping matter. But one could also manipulate Gravitons....the weakest force we know, the force of gravity." Sent suddenly roared out in a ear-piercing screech. His eyes shot open, each glowing a brilliant orange, "BRING HIM HERE!"
