A masterful dream weaver, he is a helpful (albeit a bit haughty) NPC whose whims change with the stars themselves. His overzealous applications of sleeping droughts make the protagonists often refuse any food he gives them, for fear of having their dreams woven without their consent.
His ability to instill nightmares allows him to do massive damage to enemies during the two battles the main party has with him in their party.

A dead adventurer now resurrected. She was once human, but has since ben possessed by a spirit of fire. The spirit, now having a corporeal form, seeks to activate all volcanos on the planet simultaneously, creating flows of lava that will destroy all mankind.

Another dead adventurer resurrected, who was once a friend of hers. However, he instead go tressurected as a spirit of the earth. He now wishes to destroy mankind by causing a giant earthquake to topple civilization. He's racing against the fire spirit to see who can do it first.

The guy you see standing in his fence-bordered field. You can never talk to him, because he never leaved his field. Everyone knows that you have to stand right next to someone to talk to them.

The guy no one never actually knows exists who built the fence around the field. He then hid in the bushes so he could watch new players who didn't know the "you have to stand right next to someone to talk to them" rule and laughed at their futile attempts to strike up conversation with Dream.

The guy who is secretly in love with a female adventurer, so he uses a ultraa-hearing spell to hear her for the first time, and finds she is insulting him. He then goes and has an epic battle with her, and the one who responds to this first wins.

The guy who spends his whole life training to become a magician and becomes really powerfull, then he sees a chicken and realizes that his true calling is in farming, a harsh let down for all the people who chose him.
