Kurayami Kasai

And Kasai simply walked through the door, having been waiting for them. She could sense the power his arm held, and didn't hesitate to speak. "You have the Sharpie Mini, yes? Hand it over."

She eyed the two, seeing the mood the little demon was in. Not sweet by any means. And even though they had technically lost, she would still grant them the wish. "Now state your request."

Hiei's expression hardened as Kasai walked through the wall. He stuck his stained hand out, presenting the marker. His glare was piercing, clearly showing how he felt.

"Return my sister and his mother to their rightful age," he demanded in almost a growl. A flex of the hand punctuated it.

His hair flowed slightly with the pulse of energy that escaped him.

She nodded once, took the marker, then pulled out a small pouch and threw it to the Koorime. It contained two small viles, and a key to the handcuffs. The female, of course, had expected the wish, and you didn't have to be psychic to know what it would be.

"When I do let you free," she paused, letting it sink in that she did intend to let them go, "you can take care of them. You have not fulfilled my desire, yet, however, so you will have to wait."

And, despite the fact she knew Hiei might try to kill her, she smirked.

The woman wasn't entirely useless; at least they now had the antidote in their possession. But, to his great dismay, she had made it clear that they wouldn't be let to leave yet.

Though, of course, they could now kill her, and it wouldn't matter. His thoughts returned to his earlier comment on torturing her. Caring at all for her was pointless, though she hadn't directly hurt either one of them. But to him, now, that was trivial.

((Kurama isn't doing much, but I don't want him dead.))

Hiei caught the pouch with one hand and stared hard at the woman. In almost a flash, the small bag was open, the key turned, and his katana out. Another flash and he was to the side of Kasai, the blade turned upward. It lay directly over her heart, pressing gently.

The Koorime narrowed his eyes.

She did not flinch, nor show any kind of fear, even though she was aware that he could easily kill her right then. "Do what you have to," she said, looking him in the eyes. She didn't make up excuses, nor beg for her life. The psychic had no regrets.

The kitsune massaged his sore wrist, bringing a small bit of comfort. Oddly, it felt good to be away from the Koorime. He felt less trapped, and wasn't being forced to follow him.

Interested, he watched the scene before him, taking a few steps toward the woman, and pulling a rose from his hair, just in case he had to back Hiei. He held absolutely no trust in her after the latest stunt, and figured she had some trick up her sleeve.

Hiei did not move. Pressing the tip of his sword more firmly against the woman's chest, he did not spare her even a glance.

"What do you want from us? Why are we here?" he asked in a voice that almost sounded soft, despite the fact that he looked like he would kill her if her answer was not good enough.

He figured he may as well find out why before she died.

"Why won't you let us go?"

Kasai narrowed her eyes, hating that her reasoning was questioned, and not liking the sword pressed against her.

"Think of it as a vacation. I brought you two here to my home, luring you with fitting bait, and wanted you to enjoy yourselves," her tone was calm to an extent, but held a bit of annoyance. "And I don't feel like freeing you right now, so I suggest you kill me to escape if you're so eager."

She also hated being threatened deeply, so she wouldn't give straight answers. If he intended to get decent answers, he would have to be pleasant, and more importantly, wait.

((By the way, you have my complete permission to have Hiei stab her, because I know that't probably what he'd do.))

((Sweet.))

"Hn."

Hiei took her suggestion swiftly. In one graceful movement, the blade was lowered, turned and through her stomach. Hiei still held on to the hilt, pressing it, sliding the sword deeper and making it come out her back. He kept it there, letting her absorb the steely feeling of being skewered.

After a few more moments, he withdrew the katana completely and quickly. He was satisfied with the ripping and dripping sounds. He lifted his dark eyes to Kurama's.

Night, who had been watching from the doorway, shrieked. He attacked Kasai! (And they got blood on her Sharpie, but that wasn't quite as important...)

"What did you do! She wasn't even the reason you were out there! I was!"

Night was in histerics, even though Kasai would probably live through this. "You, Jaganshi, need anger management! Good lord in heaven!" She then proceeded to cuss him out in at least five languages. "Who the heck do you think you are! Just cause you're grouchy from not having eaten in, what, two days, that does not give you a right to go stabbing people!!!"

(He got blood on the Sharpie...)

The fox stared for a moment at the bleeding female, then met the Koorime's gaze. His expression held no emotion.

"Hiei, we should leave now," he said quietly, motioning away from the building. His human compassion almost made him feel sorry for her, though he knew it was deserved. He also knew that if they didn't get away then, and the woman healed, she probably would not ever let them escape. And that would be extremely unpleasant.

Some of his attention was paid to the child, but only briefly. Her ramblings became old after a while, and the parts not in his native language he couldn't really understand. But he was sure she was being somewhat redundant.

The psychic dropped to one knee, growling, barely able to stand the pain. With her hands, she covered the wound, trying to keep herself from bleeding to death. Her energy levels changed erratically, her body trying to repair itself, but failing.

She did not make eye contact with Hiei, didn't say a word to him, or make any move to attack him. She hadn't brought him there to harm him, and would stick to that... though it was tempting at the moment!

"Night, do me a favor and shut up!" This was her way of getting her attention, but the strain caused her to wince. If she irritated the fire demon further, she ran the risk of being hurt, also.

"Now, make yourself useful and bring me some bandages." Her voice was calmer this time. Night knew quite well that she had trouble healing, though it was a common ability among demons of her race. Either she would stop the flow of blood, or would die.

Hiei ignored the child. He didn't give a damn. After watching the psychic struggle for a moment, he turned and went to Kurama. "Yes," he said, agreeing that they should leave.

He was surprised that it had been so easy. She had even invited the stab. But that didn't matter now. They had the antidote and Yukina and Shiori would be fine. They could return and things would be normal.
