XakAiron Question for you, would it be possible to have a Tau Genestealer Cullt? I don't see why it wouldn't, just thought I'd ask. I think that that would be impossible.

Not impossible, just extemely improbable. The Tyranids don't seem to have made as much progress into the Tau empire as they have infiltrating the Imperium, but aside from that nothing short of an act of the Hivemind can stop a Genestealer from implanting a Tau. Of course the Tau can also probably detect the implantation, with obvious results.

Unknown Soldier i'm not too sure on that. I don't think i've heard of 2 flamers on a battlesuit before. I don't think it can be done, but I may be wrong. Anyone else know? Cannot be done, as per the Tau codex. Only one flamer per battlesuit, because there's no price for twin- linking (and thence its unavailable).

I'm prolly gonna get pathfinders soon. And I know up to 3 per squad can trade in for a rail rifle. How many points extra is it to do so or is it at no additional points? Also, can a pathfinder shas'ui have a rail rifle?

Rail Rifles are about 10 points each. But I don't think the Shas'ui can carry one. Not that it matters. He's no better at shooting than the Shas'la.

Thanks for the Rail Rifles thing. And I thought that the Shas'ui couldn't carry one but I wanted to make sure. And I know he's no better at shooting but I just wanted my Shas'ui to have one because I made a Tau character who uses the Rail Rifle and I wanted to have the Shas'ui with one and then write the name on the base. Guess I'll just have to paint him slightly differently then.

what are your favorite Tau units? Mine are Hammerheads and/or pathfinders and/or stealthsuits. god there's so many I like. *goes and thinks*

You should get the Codex. You will be suprised with how versatile they are. Well...okay versatile isn't the right word...How amazing powerful they are at ranged.

Suchu pathfinders with rail rifles are awesome! if they don't die right away. Mine hardley ever die I use them really cautiously, right after their in cover then they just shoot the crap out of anything and generally just annoy the enemy.
