*Bard feels a pang of regret as Maggie fades away. With a sigh, wondering what she was going to say, he picks up the A Mathematical Concordance of Time and Space and walks out to the main room*

*Luana laughs as she and Mystina run down the hall to the Library, but as they go Mystina's multi-colored wings catch her eye. The stop running just inside the library, before either of them looks around.*
Mystina, are those real?

*She giggles and turns, realizing her wings kinda worked their way out of her dress....again* You mean my wings? Yeah, they are. *Giggles* We keep them in most of the time. I told you I'm a faerie didn't I?

*ENTER CAPTAIN MERCUTIO CROSS FROM GUEST ROOMS*
*cross looks around* Corr.. now thats..... a lot of books... *he glances about as he moves through the room... eying the spines of books... he turns a corner andcatches himself on the end of a shelf, bumping into it and sending a book t op the floor..... Cross rubs his shoulder a bit and eyes the offending shelf before waddling over to pick up the book as he does so he glances at the cover* "A history of Pirates and Piracy in the 17th and 18th Centuries" by Benjamin T Clark.
*He begins to flip through it Idoly.. glancing at the names of famous pirates.... until he reads down and finds an entry for "Mercutio Cross, Page 165" He turns to the page and begins reading*

He is well known for attacking Dutch merchant ships including the Gauw in 1707 and the Bestuurder in 1710..." *Cross smiles at the memory tho it doesn't mention that in both cases he had the crew off ther vessel before sinking it.. ..Tho he did sort of leave them there... but he's sure they made out fine.. fairly sure.. he turns from his recolection back to reading*
"In 1713 he made his way across the Atlantic under the persuit of the Royal Navy... later in that year he managed to scuttle the HMS Gallaway.. killing 14 crew.."*cross frowns... he had no idea the losses the ship soffered when she ran aground... but at that point it was her the 'Wolf.. he turns back to reading.... then frowns deeper as he realizes the paragrapgh doesn't go on much longer*
"in 1714... following a short series of escapades in the Caribbian.... Mercutio Cross was captured... In lue of trial he was offered a royal pardon if he aided in the capture of a rogue naval captain.."
*cross stops and reads the llast lines... then again*
"However he was shot in an appearent escape attempt... and died on the 17th of august, 1714 from a mortal wound to the back."
*cross stands there quietly... then he slolly closes the book and puts it back on the shelf.... tren lets out a deep sigh...*
Well..... I hope I at least get a good drink in me.... er... speaking of which...
*he then swaggers out of the library and heads to the main room*
*EXIT CAPTAIN MERCUTIO CROSS TO THE MAIN ROOM*

Hello? *She walks along a row of shelves, looking for anyone that might be between them. She stops at one and walks down, looking at the books as she passes them, reading the titles that are written in English, and guessing at the meanings of some others.*
*She takes one novel off the shelf and looks at the cover. On the front is a guy on a horse, with a snowy landscape and a castle in the background. She reads the back.* Hmm. *She puts it back on the shelf.*
*Obviously there is nobody else in the library, so she decides to go down the other hall, where all the rooms were.*

*Maggie walks down the hallway from the main room, pausing for a moment as she enters the library. She looks over to the study tables for a moment, somewhat wistfully. She's still confused and a bit troubled by her last encounter with Bard . . . *
*She walks over to their usual table, resting her hands along the top of it, recognizing the sensation that's settling over her heart - she misses him. She wonders how he is, and closes her eyes for a moment to send out a silent prayer on his behalf.*
*Then, releasing a sigh, Maggie lets her hands fall back to her sides, and moves away from the tables. She wanders back amidst the bookshelves, absently tracing her hand along the spines of the books as she walks, preoccupied by her thoughts*

*In the center of the aisle is a pile of fallen books, and standing a few paces away is a little boy, Kyle, in gray flannel pajamas... he looks at the mess he's made, his face ghostly white*
