Manda- Yeah xd Looking at the volumes I had, I got the impression it was tri-monthly, but wasn't sure since I had been hearing bi-monthly as well. If volume 7 did/does = spring ... gonk *turns into wobbling pile of cat-jello on the floor*
: O ah~ and so that's the drama CD that was being advertized on the sho-comi site while I was searching out possible release dates for the magazines.
on a small note - There was a copy of Kagami no Miko (the japanese-only Genbu ps2 game) on ebay a week or so back, and now I'm chewing myself for not attempting to get it >+.-< No one else is selling it, and it would be even more expensive to special order it from a regular gaming store.
As for Ayashi no Ceres~ ... I want to know more about Miku whee one day... I'll finally stalk down copies of my own.

NightIntent solarfacade The only Genbu warriors were the ghosts of Tomite and Hikitsu guarding the Shinzaho. You have a valid point about Takiko, though. But what if she remembered some of her former memories? In Eikou Den, that happened with the reincarnations of the Suzaku seishi. Oh, yeah, I'm thinknig about the other warriors. The... the... erm... Byakko ones, I think. Yeah, been a while since I read most of the original. I thought you were probably thinking of the Byakko warriors. xd The Manda nekoluch:: Bi-monthly I thought, but yea, volume seven should be out sometime soon. I'm excited. Okay so it is tri-monthly, but always comes out the last week of the previous month... though according to volume six, Perfect World volume seven won't actually be out until the Spring of 2006. (Excuse me while I cry), but apparently there's a third drama CD coming out in that time, and it looks like they've started re-releasing Ayashi no Ceres in a special form. I just checked them out on Amazon Japan, the covers are really beautiful, and at 365 pages I think that's about a normal sized manga and a half perhaps. Fushigi Yuugi Perfect World is a quarterly release (it comes out every three months.) At least that's what it said in one of the free talks in volume two of FYGK. biggrin

hi! im a newbie here... i love watase and have been hearing lots of things bout this series.... sad part is, i dont know much about it at all... can anybody give me a quick preview of this series in PM? i would really appreciate it... thanks so much!

er... actually, i've read couple of pages and most of the time, i just see post about people wanting it to be animated.. or how they love ithe story of it and so on... the best info i saw was that it was about the other priestess.. but that's just about it...
oh well, im not forcing anyone anywayz sweatdrop

I like Limdo and Takiko in this series. Limdo's really funny, and Takiko is great. She's one of my favorites, out of all of Yuu Watase's characters.

solarfacade I've just read through all the posts and thought I'd post my two cents... I don't like that Viz is changing all the names to their Chinese equivalents. I didn't like it in the original FY, and I certainly don't like it now. It makes things much more complicated, especially when the anime gets involved. If they were to produce an anime for FYGK, they would more than likely bring it over to the US. When Pioneer had the rights to the FY TV series and OAVs, they used the Japanese names. When I first got into FY, there were only 3 volumes of the manga out in English, so I ended up seeing the anime and looking at FY websites and learning the characters, places, and things by their Japanese names. To see them in Chinese is odd. It sort of makes sense to leave the names in Chinese, since the Universe of the Four Gods that Takiko, Suzuno, Miaka, and Yui used was a translation, but since Watase-sensei chose to make their names Japanese, Viz should leave them that way. stare Anyway, another thing... I'm worried about the ending. We all know from the FY:SS arc that the end of Takiko's story is not a happy one, at least to outsiders. I'm hoping that the end is something like what Nakago_Chan posted... that Takiko will be able to be reborn in the book. Watase's stories always have happy endings, so a tragic ending would be even more tragic. crying Although wouldn't there be some record of it if she had been reborn? Genbu was summoned 200 years before Suzaku, so she would have had time to have a whole new life even if she hadn't been reborn right away. I hope that made sense. sweatdrop
I have a feeling that Rimudo dies though... I got that hint while reading over the translations of volume 4 of the mangas I belive when Takiko was back in her world looking for the book that her father hid, and a gust of air crashes through one of the doors and pushes a whole bunch of Einouske's work out of the way revealing the book.
I have to agree with all of you who say that Takiko is a MUCH better character than Miaka, and Rimudo I think is a much better leading guy over Tamahome 3nodding

XD Oh Ginger... I love you! Guess someone forgot about how its mentioned that Oosugi Suzuno's father was a friend of Einosuke's.

But it was also mentioned in the anime series o_O I thought you'd seen all of it. And it definitely should've been mentioned in the FY series by now. Since they're now on 16. I can't verify where right now though... don't have my books with me ;_;
