Kana stared at his shoes for a moment as he pointed them out and bit her lip for a moment, debating in her head. She glanced between them and her necklace a couple times before slowly nodding. "K..." she said quietly and then walked over to his shoes and shirt, picking them up carefully, and moved them to the base of the indicated tree. Then she hesitated a moment before setting the locket carefully down and covering it with his shirt before returning to Koichi. "Sorry," she said softly. "I couldn't get them wet."

Koichi just shook his head in understanding. "Don't worry, Kitty," he said kindly. Once again, he held a hand out to her, smiling softly. "Coming?" he asked, chuckling lightly. He was glad, at least, that most people other than those that lived in the village below it, knew of the waterfalls; there shouldn't be, thankfully, anyone prowling around, so her necklace was safe.

Kana watched his hand for a second again and then took it carefully, nodding her head. "Ok," she smiled, stepping forward very slowly and placing one foot in the water, followed shortly by the other. It was barely to her ankles at this point, but she couldn't help shuddering suddenly, and rubbing at her arms with her free hand. She looked down at the water, but her head jerked up again as a sudden thought hit her. "Ar-are there fish in this water?" she exclaimed suddenly.

Koichi blinked a few times in slight confushion and amusment as he looked around. "There... might be some further in," he said, unsure himself. "Why do you ask?" he questioned softly as he gently pulled her in, bringing her close to him so incase she fell, he could save her just as easily, seeing as he'd have to be dragged down too. He just smiled weakly down at her, not saying anything else as he waited for her response.

Kana grinned happily, smiling broadly for the first time in a while. "I like fish," she said simply. She meant she liked them not only to eat, but also to play with, but she didn't elaborate. She blinked as she was pulled more into the water and reached to clutch at his shirt again, pausing as she realized he wasn't currently wearing one. So she just grabbed his hand more tightly instead. She looked up at him, blinking as she saw he was the one with the weak smile now.

Koichi just looked out farther into the lake before starting to lead the two of them towards the middle, a little way before the sudden drop into the steep waters. He looked down the whole while, trying to look for fish. "I haven't come here often... so I can't very well say there aren't, nor can i say there are," he mumbled slightly, stopping oce he thought they'd gone far enough in; the water was only up to his waist, now.

Kana watched him curiously for a moment and then allowed herself to be pulled aftwards, sticking close to his side. She saw he was looking down and smiled to herself, wondering if he was looking for fish because of what she'd said. As he spoke, his words seemed to confirm it. "It's ok!" she said brightly, distracting herself from the fact she was near waist deep in water now. Her tail was raised though, trying to keep itself out of the water, and the hair on it was standing on end. Her ears kept shifting between perking and flatening back. And, her free hand was tugging on her shirt, keeping it just above the water level while her other clutched his hand tightly.

Koichi shrugged. "Sorry... if there is any fish, though, I'll make sure to tell you right away... once it brushes against my leg," he laughed. He looked around at the water; it was easily disterbed, but it seemed still and lifeless at the moment. "So...." he started, turning again to look at her, "you feeling any better?" he questioned, wondering if she was stll dizzy or what not.

Kana looked down into the water almost nervously as he mentioned them brushing against their legs, and hoped tha if something did, it would be a small fish. One with no teeth. She shuddered again, partly from that thought, and partly because the tip of her tail had touched the water accidentally. But she quickly looked up at him, smile still in place. "I think so," she nodded slowly. Though, she might have just been so distracted by the fact she was in water that she wasn't paying attention to herself. Was that even possible?

Koichi smiled. "I'm glad, then." He wasn't quite sure what to say, now, since he knew she wasn't too fond of the water. "You're.... you're not still mad at me or anything from before...right?" he asked softly, gazing at a small petal that had floated onto the surface of the water, somewhere to his side. He didn't know what quite to do; after all, he wasn't experienced with fevers and how to cure them, so he'd just done the first thing that popped into his head;he woulda gone for someone, but he didn't think Kana would be too happy about that.

Kana glanced at him, pausing for a moment at the question. She felt her face flush red and quickly looked off to the side in embarassment. It was true that was not a position she had wanted to wake up in, but she believed him when he said he was only trying to help. She slowly looked back at him, smiling faintly. "I'm not mad," she said quietly. She didn't want that to cause an awkwardness between them. She already felt awkward enough because of what he'd told her while she'd been a cat.

Koichi just smiled faintly, nodding his head in understanding; he, too, had felt embarrassed that he'd been caught like that. "I guess I thought you'd be a little... uneasy since you'd woken up to that," he admited, shrugging lightly; he hadn't, after all, planned on her suddenly waking up to that scene. He wondered if there was anyway he could say 'sorry' and actually have her see he ment it.

[Sorry! Had to make tea, and then my little brother wanted Kool aid. xP]
"It's fine," she assured him. "You meant well, right? So I'm not mad..." She took a small step forward, coming dangerously close to the drop off. But, she didn't seem to notice it was there as she peered down into the water, since she was looking for fish and not at the actual bottom of the lake. Her tail flicked behind her still, making sure to keep above the water. The tip was dripping from where it'd sunk under for a second ealier.

Koichi smiled at her, before turning his back at a sound he'd heard. He sighed in reliefe, seeing it was a deer. "Hopefully a villager from the town below doesn't come... I hear they can bore you to death," he chuckled, looking around to make sure there were no wandering eyes that planned on shooting a dagger at them anytime soon. It's so peacful, though...

Kana's ear twitched as she turned, eyes widening as she saw the deer as well. But she kept herself from shouting about it, knowing that'd just scare it off. So she just gazed at it silently until Koichi spoke. Then she switched her attention to him and smiled. "Would they come here?" she asked curiously, wondering if they were even allowed here in the first place. But she didn't ask, and instead just returned to looking for fish, taking another small step forward towards the drop off.
