Before starting to eat his ramen, Reck looked up at Maiko and smiled slightly at her.
"Well me? I'm gonna specialize i taijutsu and become a legend in the Stone village. What about you Ren?"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 26, 2007 7:40 pm

"Hmm," Ren hummed. "I... I guess I want to be a genjutsu specialist as well!" Yes, she thought, that would be fitting. After all, she couldn't just go straight on with questions any who.

"Well I guess I don't have to worry about your self esteem, Reck!" Maiko joked. "Anyway, I could probably help you out in Taijutsu, too. Teaching you guys Genjutsu ought to be fun, too, come to think of it," she laughed, and continued, "How about after we finish lunch, we go to Abunai Canyon to train a bit? How's that sound?"

Reck's eyes widened and he developed a smile.
"Training...? YAH! You promice?"
He then reached into his white hair with his finger and pulled it out with a beetle on it.

Maiko laughed again. "Well, yeah! It's part of my job to train with you.

"But, uhm, what's the bug for?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ren nodded in agreement to training. That's what she was about to do any way before coming to the team meeting. And wait, was that really a...?

She leaned closer to see. Did Reck just pull a bug out of his hair...? Patiently Ren waited for Reck to answer hers and Maiko's questions.

"Oh, him? This is my partner Gomma. I never go anywhere without him since the day we met in the mountains. I even spent a year teaching him to be a pro-ninja partner and some jutsu."
Saying that, Reck placed Gooma on the table and placed a grain of rice infront of him.

Ark walked into the cafe, and sat down. As the cook came up to say hi, Ark made random converstation with him. He then noticed that Maikos cell was still there Ark raised an eyebrow and went over to them. ''Hey everyone'' he said while raising his hand. ''Just remember the festival is tomarro, so no training or anything. The academy is even closed.'' Ark then had some other business to attend to so he waved with a slight ''bye''

"Oh yeah, duh! How could I have forgotten about that?" Maiko exclaimed, cursing her ever-annoying problems with paying attention. "Thanks for reminding me, Ark. Sorry, guys, I guess training will have to wait a while. But don't worry, we will train together soon enough. After the Iwagakure festival, I promise."

Ark walked into the cafe, and quickly took a seat. He ordered a large bowl of ramen, some sake, and water. Nice mix eh? As he waited, he heard some random discussion on how the genin exams where happening again. Ark slouched a little bit. ''Geee.....I almost forgot about that....Im proboly going to get new students too'' Ark then got a sad face. ''Im going to miss Nav and Gig sooo much!'' just then the cook came out with Arks order. Ark began to eat, slowley at first, but then gordging it down. He hadnt eaten in a while.

Hitori walked into the restaurant, and sighed. He pulled up a chair behind Ark, and sighed again. He ordered some ramen and a glass of water, and barely ate. Instead of eating, he just swirled the noodles while murmuring, "I wonder where there's a good place to train. But I don't know anybody, and everyone seems to be a mental case."

Hitori closed his eyes tighter, continuing to swirl the slowly cooling noodles. "Nobody seems to want to be my friend. Is it because I'm not social?" Again he opened his eyes, briefly so that he could slurp up a few noodles. "I guess it's hopeless."

Katare shot into the seat nearest the entrance of the cafe. Moments later, the waitress was ready to take his order. Amazing... Katare thought it over for a moment, and decided on some sweet and sour chicken, and some ramen. Yep, Katare sure did like sweet and sour chicken...

Within a few minutes, the chicken and ramen were cooked, ready, and at Katare's table. Now that's what I call quick service... Katare began to feast on the chicken, when he saw somebody who didn't seem to be as excited about getting to eat out... "Hey, you there! Slow guy!" Katare moved his food to the new guy's table. Katare hadn't seen this guy before.. considering that he was pretty young, he must've been a new academy student. "So, pretty chaotic with the genins coming up, eh? At least the training spots have emptied out." Katare continued to bite down on his chicken like a starved animal...

Hitori jumped when the boy talked to him. "Oh! Uh...yeah. I might actually learn something!" Hitori smiled. This boy seems nice. At least he's friendly. He bit down on another lone noodle, slurping it up. "Um, it may seem like a stupid question for an academy student, but what are Genin?" Man, I'm so stupid. Everyone's so hyped up about these exams, and I don't even know what they are!
PostPosted: Thu Apr 12, 2007 6:52 pm

Katare grinned.. well, at least between bites he grinned. After all, he couldn't seem to find anybody to train with lately.. Except that this guy apparently didn't know much about becoming a ninja. "Wow, you don't know what a Genin is!?" Katare nearly choked on the chicken that was inside his mouth; that time, he just HAD to speak with his mouth full.. Katare managed to cough it back up and chew this time...

"Well, a Genin is a lower-class ninja. That's why the exam is important, because kids like me finally get the chance to graduate from the academy and start taking missions!" Katare's face went into a full smile.. and stayed in one, now that all of the chicken was gone. "So, you wanna go down to Abunai Canyon with me and learn some of the basics? I even have a few of the academy-level jutsu scrolls, if you think you're ready for that..." Katare tried to finish his ramen quickly; whether the new kid was coming or not, he needed to train...

Hitori's eyes gleamed. "Yeah!" With a vigor, Hitori grabbed the bowl and downed it in a matter of seconds. He then quickly grabbed the glass of water, downing it too. Wiping his chin, he grinned. "Ready whenever you are!"

Wow! Someone's actually willing to train me! There's a first for everything!
