Mik sniffed, and wiped away the last of his tears. "Th-thank you..I'm Mik by the way." He looked up at her hoping to find out her name. His ears went up a bit as he stopped crying and his tail began to uncurl.

"You used to be a slave?" he looked up at her, "I was one too...I-I was used alot in the slave trade till I got here." He looked back at the ground and his ears went back down as he remembered. "I'll be good...I was taught to please people. That's what dog's do, isnt it?"

Mik looked up at the woman with the blood stained coat. He looked at the experiment behind her and tensed up. As the woman asked the question he suddenly became very nervous and made a whining sound like a puppy would when it got frightened.

Mik hid his face in his arms once again as he remained curled up in the corner trying to make himself as unnoticable as possible. It was bad enough that he was an experiment but if he was given to her he wouldnt know what to do. He winced at the thought.

Mik watched as the experiment was led out of the door. He was glad that it wasnt him but he felt pitty for him and tears formed in his eyes again, "H-how could you do that?" he said in a low muffled voice.

Mik looked at him and hesitated for a moment. He got up and stumbled slowly toward the scientist, he stopped a couple times wanting to go back to the corner, but he didnt want to get hurt so he went up to him. He stood there nervously looking at him.

Mik obeyed the command and nervously walked up to him. He knew he was going to get hurt for talking back it had happened before. He sat on Kaeru's lap and closed his eyes expecting the scientist to hit him.

Mik blushed as he felt the hand stroke his ear, he liked the feeling it made him calm down a bit. "N-no master, that woman was scary, I feel bad for him though, that experiment." He looked at Kaeru but immediately averted his eyes and looked down at his hands.
