Flann took a step into the doorway and leaned against it. "I'm back, just as I said I would be." He smiled playfully and crossed his arms across his broad chest, letting his tail flick idly back and forth. "Did you miss me?"

Pride looked his lover up and down, then smiled slowly. "I did. I had begun to think that other you spoke of spending time with had kidnapped you or something." He closed his eyes, hiding the worry that had actually been there, still to proud to admit to it, then opens them again. "Come in, my pretty pet..."

"The other is long since gone, Pride." Flann took a step into the room and pushed the door shut gently. "It is just you and I now." He palmed something carefully in one of his hands as he approached the bed.

Pride smiles a little. "That doesn't mean he'd not try to kidnap you, my pretty one. After all..." He held out a hand, and beckons. "I find you more then worthy of ME, and that is a rare thing indeed. You're the only one I've ever found worthy enough for more then a few moments of time."

Flann padded over and rested on the bed, still smiling softly. "I have something to ask you, Pride." His smile turned a little nervous as he eyed the peacock from across the large bed.

Pride pulls Flann closer, so the pretty red panda rests against his chest. "What is it, my pretty one?" He smiles down at him, holding him close.

Flann's breath caught when he was pulled against the peacock's chest and he already felt his head began to swim. The lovely bird's scent was intoxicating. "I-ah..." He sat up a little, to be able to look Pride in the eyes. "Willyoubemine-ah."
He blushed and mentally swatted himself before repeating the question. "Will you be mine only?"

Pride blinks a little at Flann's nervousness, then hears his words. He pauses, then finally, carefully chooses his words. "I will be yours, Flann, as lover, only yours... But you must understand... I will need to be others for basic adoration as well... I need that..." He looked down, aware this was hard to ask of some one.

Flann nodded. "Just never forget your promise, lovely bird." The red panda leaned in to press his lips against Pride's and moved his hand to reveal what he had been hiding. The clasp of an short knotwork golden necklace closed around Pride's neck. "And if you forget, this will remind you." His hand brushed over the teardrop cut sapphire that rested between the peacock's collarbones.

Pride looked down, his eyes a little wide. No one had ever gotten him a gift before. He stares, silently, then looks up at Flann. "My word is good, I have to much pride to break it... but I will treasure this... I don't... have anything to give you..." He clearly felt this was a problem.

Mausk paused. He began to open his mouth, but was interrupted by a deep growl that came from his stomach. He frowned and meekly said, "I guess Iam, since my stomach says so." He stood up and looked arund curiously. "So, what's there to eat?" He wasn't familiar with this place at all. He looked around in a confused way, pondering where they could find something to eat.

Feiron ponder him, then says "This way." He stands, and leads him towards the kitchen. "What would you like?" He asks over his shoulder, not worried about it too much.
