"I've never met anyone like you Westley, and not just because you're part cougar," she continues more softly. "You really are an amazing person."

The man frowns before shaking his head and resting against his arms again. His tail flicks around a bit as he sighs deeply. There were just some things that he wanted to get out and over with, but it was hard to put them into words. However, knowing that a female could be so gentle and caring was very helpful for him. He closes his eyes and, unconciously, starts to purr softly.
((OOC: Remind me: did he tell Lael about Sam? I want to say "yes" but I'm not positive and I'm too lazy to look it up.))

His soft purr relaxes Lael. She shuts her eyes and pulls in a deep breath, then lets it go, smelling the sea salt in the air. How long have we been here? she thinks. She looks out and sees the skyn just begining to lighten, although the sun has yet to peek over the horizon. It doesn't seem like that long, but it must have been a couple of hours. "It'll be morning soon," she muses softly.

Closing his yellow eyes for a few seconds, the cougar-man asks, "Yeh? Your point?"
He then looks over to her before saying, in a joking tone, "Wait! You don't change with the rise of the sun, do you?"

"I was lying," she says straight faced. Then she grins. "I'm just kidding. You needn't worry. I'm an albino. I was just joking around before. Although I really was mistaken for a vampire once. It was pretty funny, after the guy stopped trying to shove a cross in my face."
