The world came grinding to an instant halt the moment the yowl was cut loose. If ever Tamani's heart could stop for a male, this would be it, even if it might not be in the most romantic way. Her tail became the object of pouncing, and she herself, seeing a blur come at her in a loud way, nearly jumped through the canopy of foliage.
"What on EARTH do you THINK you are doing? Do you -always- come across a lady like that? In MY jungle even? How dare you! What are you, some kind of heathen? A proper creature would know how to greet a Lady in her own home." Huffing slightly, Tamani backed off away from Athari, her jade eyes glancing this newcomer up and down. Something about his spotted coat looked familar, but she just couldn't place it. And seeing as he was still downwind, his scent didn't help her either. Lashing her tail from side to side, 'Mani stood there, awaiting some kind of explaination for the intrusion of her peaceful nap.

Lightning Shadow X At the appearance of the warthog and the look on his face that was apparently directed at the leapord, the small creature, that was infact a familiar species finally sniffed the air before calling out nervously.
"H-hello?" A soft, feminine voice filtering the air gently, but loud enough for them to hear as she stayed in the safety of the grass with only her soft sapphire eyes visible to them.
Timon twitched, sidling back up beside Pumbaa and watching Kago warily. If it were something dangerous, he'd take care of it. Right..?
"Careful, Kago, it might be a lion! Or, or, a... um... a mongoose!"
"It's not a mongoose, y'big silly." Kago retorted, grinning.

Lenta Lightning Shadow X At the appearance of the warthog and the look on his face that was apparently directed at the leapord, the small creature, that was infact a familiar species finally sniffed the air before calling out nervously.

"It's not a mongoose, y'big silly." Kago retorted, grinning.
The little creature retorted a little angrily at Timon's words, as she warily slinked out infront of Kago, it was nothing more then a female meerkat, none the worse for wear for shaking like a leaf infront of the huge predator cat.
'Maybe I should've stayed in the grass?' She thought while her big blue eye's looked up at Kago, still shaking as she watched him warily.

Pumbaa looked down at the meerkat at his side. Then up to kago. Then down to timon again. He really didn't seem like he was affected by the coming intruder. Hearing her speak, His head lifted and he chuckled. Course you aren't.. your a meerkat like my buddy here Timon. Say hi Timon. He used his snout to push him away from himself.

Timon blinked, legs locking instinctively as Pumbaa shoved him forward. He stared at the other meercat for a moment - who was this? Why was she here? Why wasn't she out digging holes like the others? Then, quite suddenly, he emitted a loud 'Harumph!', turned on one heel, and strode away to stand behind Pumbaa.
Kago laughed, then crouched down, settling himself into a lying position and flashing the female meercat a grin. "Aww, don't mind him. He's always stuffy like that. I'm Kago."

The female meerkat raised a brow at the other, only to narrow her eye's before looking at the leapord, a faint flicker of a smile appearing on her maw as she saw him grin.
"I'm Dunia, it's nice to meet all of you"
She said in that soft little voice while looking at the giant feline infront of her and warthog behind him...along with the miffed looking male meerkat.
What a jerk.

Pumbaa smiled widely, watching Timon waltz beside him and act all stuffy to the female of his kind. Kneeling down, he snorted greatly. Hi Dunia... I'm Pumbaa and this is my buddy Timon... back there... He motioned with his head, letting his tail go limp. He had the urge to sit but chose against it for Timons sake. Lifting his head to look around, as to see if there were others like her around, he looked down at her with beady eyes. So... you new to the jungle?

Dunia smiled warmly at the warthog and nodded softly, looking up at his beady eye's while she sat down on a nearby rock.
"Yeah, I came looking for my home after my colony...well...after my colony...I don't know whether I should say or not..."
She was very sensitive when it came to talking about her family, especialy when what happened, happened.

"After your colony booted you out?" Timon asked, peering around Pumbaa. He seemed to have suddenly gained interest. "What'd you do, dig a tunnel too deep? Forget to alert the clan when a hyena approached? Nasty lot, colonies."
Kago yawned, resting his head on his paws and flicking his tail out towards Pumbaa's legs.

The female meerkat paused for a moment before looking down.
"Well no...I wasn't booted out...my colony was killed..." She said, biting her bottom lip slightly as she looked at the other.
She then took a small breath.
"Th-they where killed, by hyena's teaching their pup's how to hunt, I was lucky to escape..."
Those thoughts still haunted her, but what would this lot think?

Timon fell silent. He thought about this for a moment, then, stepping forward, placed a paw on the female's shoulder in a gesture of comfort.
"......But now you've been cut loose from them, eh? Doesn't matter how, at least you're free, right? Hakuna matata all the way now!" He forced a grin onto his face.

Dunia's bright blue eye's looked up at the other meerkat, trying her hardest to hold back tears before she swallowed slightly and nodded.
"Well...I guess so..."
If anything to stop talking about this, she'd just agree.
"Only one question...what's Hakuna Matata?"
She had to stumble onto this.

"It means no worries!" Timon replied, grinning at her.
"Foooor the rest of your daaaaaays~" Kago chimed in, and laughed as Timon glared at him.
"....Kago, Pumbaa and I live by Hakuna Matata. It's our philosophy!" Timon continued.

Pumbaa grinned. "Dats right little lady. We live by the Hakuna Matata... and you can to!" He said with a smile, knudging Kago with his side. "We live by our rules! No one elses!" He said with a smile, knudging Timon now.

"Yeah! We're wild men!" Kago burst out, lifting his head and cracking another grin. "We live by the rules of our hearts, not the rules of others' minds!"
"Wiiiiiild men!" Timon growled playfully, thumping his chest with one paw (then wincing, as it hurt more than he expected xD).
