Yup, but if ur playing sousa ur gonna have to deal with leger lines, Normal Bb that you start the Bb scale on is the 3rd space below the staff and the Bb that it ends on is teh second line

Hello, new to the guild. I primarily play trombone, but I also indulge in baritone. -grin-
And some other brassies, but they aren't low, so I won't talk about them. xd

i play euphonium, baritone, tuba, trombone, trumpet, french horn, susaphone, marching euphonium, bass trombone, and thats really it, so yeah we just got done playing a grade 5 music and im only in the 9 th grade....lol.....well ttyl cya

Has anyone herd of the Leesville Road Highschool Symphoic band? raleigh, NC

Hey everyone, I'm new to the band geek guild, and I'd just like to say that I play 1st trombone in the Jazz band at my school, and also 1st in symphonic band. I'm glad to say that I am fully a band geek! Huzzah for low brass and all those who play in the bass clef. Glory be. mrgreen xd

i play trombone and i used to play consert tuba that was funny i almost had to set on a book to play

FaithDragon i play trombone and i used to play consert tuba that was funny i almost had to set on a book to play lol, in fantasy varation, there is a contra alto clarinet solo variation, and the person playing it had to sit on a book or 2, it was funny cuz on stage there was a phone bok under her chair and the contra alto sitting there (we march on wtih our instuments and folios, so she wanted to march with bas clarinet instead of contra alto lol)

So, I was a Mellophone/Hornist. Now I play baritone while marching. We're in conjunction with the sousas. We aren't marching bari saxes anymore ((they get killed out there)) so they went to sousa. It's an odd change. Eep!
The only thing killing me is the weight. But, I'll live...
Hehehhe, if you have any tips, please tell me!
