I just mentioned in the intro thread about a dream getting me into mastershipping (again thanks Ghost for letting me know that mastershipping is what I dreamt of, hahaha).
Anyhow...
my friend Penguin is passed out on the floor ((she had been in the dream I had previously to this, so it was probably connected but that part wasn't YGO related)). Asleep I think, not drunk. I am now Seto Kaiba from Yugioh ((earlier in my dream I was me)). And I’m snuggling Ryuuji Otogi?!? Random ((well as I'd never before this dream even thought to entertain the idea of this pairing it felt so weird))?!? We are kissing and giggling and other nonsense ((yes even Kaiba/Me - be afraid, be very afraid)). Then my friend Akila ((who absolutely HATES Kaiba in real life)) walks in and squeels “oh my God you guys are together that is so cute!!!” She says something to the effect that she is enthralled by “real life yaoi”. I (Kaiba) am pretty tired, ignore her, and fall asleep snuggling Otogi.
Not that long but that's the one and only time in my life I've had an anime/manga dream - at least that I remember. Plus it got me curious about mastershipping which I've discovered I absolutely adore. So yay!!!

Wow, that's so awesome! XD It's strange that's the only anime dream you've had, but it's a pretty nice one if it's gonna your one. I love how a dream was able to get you into a pairing like that too. XD

I know it was pretty wicked. Maybe I've had other anime based dreams but I don't remember them - I rarely remember my dreams, they are always weird, and usually don't revolve around fiction. So usually I'm not even always aware that I'm dreaming even if they are really weird or improbable. I've had Supernatural (my favorite TV show) feature into a dream (maybe 2?), and Zach Braff and a couple of the guys from the first season of VH1s I Love Money (yea Zach and the cast was all in one dream and it was WEIRD) as well. Usually though it's people I know or people that exist nowhere to me in the waking world (in real life or the fictional verse).
But yes, couldn't have picked a better anime dream, it was a few months ago too so now I'm mentally trying to get it to happen again. Hahaha. Not sure if I'd prefer to be third party though this time, as awesome as snuggling Otogi may be I do like to watch ^_~.

I tend to have mostly video game dreams... like that I'm playing a video game, and suddenly am in it/part of the story, a 'new Zelda game' coming out being the most common type of dream. I also tend to have a lot of anime dreams, and real life dreams where I'm with friends or family or whatever. Plus a lot of horror ones, driving ones, and ones where I'm running through fields. I have a tendency to remember a lot of my dreams though, so I wonder if yours have that much variation as well, but you just don't remember them?
Sadly, though I've been anime characters plenty of time, every time something delicious happened, I was just watching. D: Though it was nice, I would still like to try being in on the action too.

My dreams consist of Anime realted dreams, and mostly crossovers (reading my dreams here, you can tell xD). Usually if I do something, then watch/play/do something else (For example, Play Higurashi, then watch YGO), I have a dream realting to them both.

I try to influence my dreams like that, thinking and reading a lot of YUU*GI*OU or something so I'll dream about it, but it always ends up as random. D:

I've recently been having some Vocaloid dreams, mixed in with some YGO and Harry Potter (No, I'm not on drugs, why do you ask? =3).
Dark Woods Circus is a recurring one (Where the Vocaloids are in this deformed circus). Mostly revolvingaround Haga and Leon, but it's making me see a friendship-pairing with Haga and Leon :3 *crack at it's best*

I've had one "in the game" dream recently - but it wasn't a known game. It was just a game my dream mind invented. Though if I were to take a stab I suppose it'd be a little bit similar to a video game version of Jumanji (to get old school with the references here razz ).
I tend to only remember my dreams when I'm stressed I think - stress alters my sleep patterns in ways that I think leaves me more likely to wake from REM (and therefore right after dreaming). I do have a good amount of variety to my dreams they just usually don't cross into my hobbies and interests (sadly).
I'll never object to being in on the action, but since "been there, done that" I'd like to switch it up a bit ^_~.
@Apoctolyptic - I think crossover dreams would confuse the heck out of me, hahaha. I intentionally in the waking world read a FMAxHP crossover so hey, I definitely cannot accuse you of drug abuse, as I've been having no such fun *cough*I mean drugs are bad*cough myself... razz
Seriously, just kidding, drugs are bad mkay!!!

@JK: OMG Jumanji! XD I love that movie! <3 I watch it whenever it's on TV, even though I think I own it on VHS. XD;;
I tend to be a super light sleeper, and often wake up during REM, so that's probably why I remember so many of my dreams. >_o
I think I've had a few minorly crossover dreams, but I tend not to be too into crossover fanfiction unless it's comedy anyway.
Video Games: My anti-drug. Because when you're obsessed with video games, who the hell can afford to buy drugs?

Haha I use that video game quote, only insert manga. I seriously spend almost all of my money at Borders. One day I shall just buy the place MUWHAHAHA!!!
And yea I love Jumanji, that would be the most awesome "if it were real" fictional game ever...aside from all the almost dying nonsense ^_~.
I am a borderline insomniac, which I also think is an issue, I am pretty sure you have to sleep in order to dream (dunno though, it's just a theory wink )...I'm not the lightest sleeper (once I finally get to sleep) however movement tends to always wake me up. Nobody can sneak up on me and kill me ninja !

Sooo.... the other night I had an odd crossover dream... I guess I was married to Seto but not married to him (does that make sence?) and we adopted Enzan from Rockman.EXE(idk if you guys watch/read that) because he doesn't have a mommy and I love him to death. I also become Mokuba's new mother, too, I guess... so we're living out happy life when Leon form RE(once again, idk if you guys play RE...) and tells us that the zombies are coming and to prepare for the outbreak! So we got ready and just as we finished loading out guns the zombies broke in but I woke up just as I went to shoot one.
I didn't wake up because I was scared, I woke up because my stupid kidney had to empty itself.... best freakin' dream of my life gone cuz of my dumb genetics....

Haha I approve of the coupling with Seto - and I dunno your references but yay to that too - but as zombies are my number one irrational fear I dunno if I can ever claim "best dream of life" as a dream featuring zombies...^_~
Yes, fear of zombies, crazy as heck but I won't deny it. I've gone many a sleepless night because of the fear that "today" would be the day that they would rise and get me!!! I guess as a self-defense mechanism (and too many bad horror movies) I have coupled zombie risings with the "last day/apocalypse" - that whole spiel. One night a few years ago I was lying in bed around 5:00am praying to myself "don't be the last day, don't be the last day" (dunno why I was in one of my OMG ZOMBIES ARE GOING TO GET ME MOODS but I was). I also might add that I sleep with the fan on 365 days a year (366 on leap year - be it freezing or not - still need that fan - I can't sleep through most noises but I also can't sleep through silence). So here I go, spitting off that mantra, when all of a sudden - the power goes out! This means vcr/clock lights gone, and the whoosing sound as the fan dies. I FREAKED THE F*CK OUT!!! Seriously my heart literally stopped, almost had an attack. Didn't sleep anymore that night. So not cool!!! So yes, zombies = bad. Bad zombies!!! Since you are sad I shall say bad bladder, but I hope mine comes to my rescue if ever zombies attack me in my sleep.
That said I STILL watch tons and tons of bad zombie movies...^_~
Also, this has got me thinking of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies again - which was an ok book, but the original P+P is WAY better. And honestly I think the spoof coulda been way better. It wasn't the plot changes that caused the fail, zombies were surprisingly fine in the epic romance novel, it was the character changes. Lizzie just wasn't Lizzie anymore.
Oh wait random tangent...SORRY!!!
Eh, I have to get up for work in less than 8 hours anyhow - and still wanna read my book so I'd better bounce...gnite guild sorry for all the random!!! rofl
