lol, anyhow, nah... i don't think i'll join in on teh exhibition match... I only said it "almost" makes me wanna play along... XD;;
Hrm... which idea? Keeping the scoring idea or just having a pole and who ever character gets the most votes as being favorite wins?

You could always count successes. Break up the thread into individual encounters (as in, where one character opposes another or tries to accomplish a task) and count victories for each person. Highest score wins.
For instance, Hellhound attempts to generally molest Copycat. He succeeded several times and would get 1 point for every successful molestation. While Copycat resisted being molested, she never succeeded in doing so and thus gains no points.

This is what happens when I get bored and have an excess of gold. I do weird things. ^^;
As for a Jones/Darkstu battle, that'd be an exercise in futility...they can't hurt each other! ^^; It'd boil down to a fierce bit of name-calling.
