Kaida moved through all the debris moving in front of the princess because she knew that the princess wouldn't be harmed if they wanted to use her for leverage. With one semi deep wound going through her thigh she was slowed down alittle bit but she still had some tricks up her sleeve. Distance fighting wasn't going to work so she shoved the princess and Maiko away before leaping forward and with her arm brought back at just the right angle she swung and landed a punch across the face of the woman. Kaida didn't exactly specialize in taijutsu, but when she used it it packed a powerful punch.

((Kinoru, her hands were already together...she's a little girl, Kao's a big wolf...the only way she could wrap her hands around him are if her hands were grasping eachother, she wouldn't have been able to reach around to hold him with her forearms...))

*the girl continued her stare at Kinoru...she then began to open her mouth*
girl: I'll finish this in three minutes...
*she took from her belt a whip of seemingly rather short proportions...she then jumped and her speed seemed to cause her to fade from sight*
*suddenly, before reaction would be allowed, the first Kinoru clone would be sent skyward by the girl doing a backflip kick, connecting with the clone's chin...as she landed on her feet, she sent her whip forward at Kinoru...the length of the whip seemed longer than before, as if the whip itself had grown...on the tip was a sharp spike...*
arrow Vs Edge
*the enemy would be located directly underneath the captured clones, but rather deep...*
*if Edge were digging((and I'm assuming he is)), then he would have seen how the enemy was able to detect their movements...there was an intricate network of ropes around the entire area...the thickest amount of ropes being under the clones, hence why she waited until then to hold her attack...the ropes would detect whatever she wanted it to hone in on...so far, sound and vibrations are some of the things she could focus on...it also seemed she could only focus on one thing at a time...*
*currently though, chakra was her focus, and by using his sonar, Edge just allowed her to pinpoint his location...several of the ropes of the network homed in on his location, planning to wrap around him while he was in a cramped area...*
arrow Vs Kaida
*being a tag user meant that close range combat is supposedly a weakness for her...but, she didn't earn her rank for nothing...she used an arm to sweep Kaida's punch off course, and then spun around and delivered a kick to Kaida's abdomen, sending her flying back through the debris...where welcoming ropes were ready to tie her down...*

(Shun.. make sure you aren't god modding.. they may be above our level but even seasoned people make mistakes or fall down and go boom)
Kaida moved with great speed and even as she was struck she slammed one of her kamas down into the woman's leg slicing right through. Kaida kept hold of the chain on her kamas and was able to avoid being thrown back into the awaiting ropes. She pulled herself forward and wrenched the kama through her leg alil more. "You think just because I am a rookie I am gonna give up? You are wrong!" Kaida ran forward even on her bad leg and bringing her hands together she preformed seals that would make her very dangerous. Within a moment she was in the woman's arms and kissing her in such a way with her hand over the woman's nose that she would have to breath in through her mouth.

(Good point, hadn't thought of that. But thearetically even if her hands were together, because of how tight the wires were she still wouldn't be able to move them enuf to preform a seal)
Kinoru disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving only a singal leaf behind. The rest of the clones were still standing there each taking a different stance. Kinoru needed time for this jutsu since Kao wasn't around, and with the help of the plan he had, he'd have just enuf time. But time wasn't the only thing he needed. He continued to do the seals in a place where he could not be found. He just prayed that this jutsu would work, because if it failed, it would mean his doom............

((Believe me Kaida, I'm nowhere near godmodding...If I was, I would have finished it back when she discovered you, just to speed up the story...but just keep note that in most scenarios, a Genin has nowhere near the strength and speed that a Jounin has...Jounin are seasoned to the point where mistake isn't an option and surprise is seldom...so far, i'm allowing you to see my attacks before I activate them...hehe...I'd hate to see what Komm does to you guys in the Chuunin Exams...he never god-mods...but his chars are just about perfect...designed to take anything and then dish it back out 100 fold...just so you know...this is easy mode...I'm meant to be practice...but don't worry...even if you lose this battle, there's still more to the story...I'm half-thinking about maybe ending this thread after this mission and beginning a new mission system for you guys until the Chuunin Exams, that way, you three won't be forced to work together...and you'd have a say on what missions you take on...))
((also...she still has some baby-fat(loose skin)...thus even if they were tight, unless they dug into her bone(which would have been very cruel for you to do against a little girl mad ), she would have been able to manipulate at least from her wrist out...and even if you put your wrists together(you can try), you'd still be able to use the only seal required, the finishing seal, for Kage Bunshin no Jutsu))

*quick maneuvering left only a deep gash, leaving her leg intact...the kiss made contact, but ropes were immediately around Kaida's neck, arms and legs...pulling her off before she could inject all her poison...being in such close vicinity and also vulnerable, a kunai could have been used to split Kaida's abdomen, forcing blood and organs to rush out, but orders were to subdue and take...sparing lives in necessary...war was not on the agenda...*
*several ropes tied around her kamas, rendering them immobile, while Kaida was tied and dangled in a crucified position...the woman began coughing to get rid of the poison until a tolerable point...*
arrow Vs Kinoru
girl: is that all your clones can do? take on funny stances? well, I guess I'll have to show you why I'm considered the most talented genius of Hidden Ramen Village!
*she performed the hand seal again, and more Kage Bunshins appeared, beginning their search for Kinoru, he would be found soon...as for the clones, the original was planning to show them just who was boss...*

(She may be a little girl, but she's still the enemy, and in battle one cannot take any chances) The clones would not succed in finding Kinoru because of how he had hidden himself. The clones stayed in 4 of the clones stayed in there stances, each seming ready for a different Taijutsu, or maybe something else, the remaining clones took off into the woods and seemed to disappear (Yes I am going somewhere with this, I've got a plan, and I worked out all the flaws mrgreen )

(ooc: sorry but as you aren't gonna use Maiko as much as I would like I am gonna play with her alittle.... just a little.)
Kaida looked down at Maiko and smiled. "Maiko.... defend her..." Kaida bent her hands which were not entirely tied by the ropes to the sleeves of her shirts and pulled out exploding tags and with a flick of her fingers she sent them out all flying into the air. Almost all at once they exploded very close to the ropes which were binding Kaida.
Maiko at this point nodded to Kaida and grabbed the princess pulling her down and keeping her against a very large tree so that she couldn't be grabbed from behind or take much of any blast.

((it's fine this time around, but being that Maiko is an NPC, keep it to a minimum...))
arrow Vs Kaida
*if she did perform such an act, then it would have been at most two exploding tags that she had thrown...meaning, that if she freed her arms, her legs would still be tied, meaning any immediate movement was impossible...without another means to carry a tag(kunai, etc), it's near impossible to aim and throw more than one tag with each hand...the more thrown, the more random the trajectory is, being that it's only paper on its own...the woman, at this point, sent 6 more kunais with tags attached...4 around the area where Kaida was tied at the moment, and 2 towards the area where Maiko brought Kohana...*
arrow Vs Kinoru
girl: Forgotton Dance - The First Blossom...
*the girl jumped up into the air and did several spins with her body...after a 4th spin, while she was still in midair, she launched her whip at the clone on the left, the whip grew the correct length near instantly and wrapped around the neck of the clone...a swift pull would drag him upwards past her as she landed in the middle of the remaining 3*

The remaining 3 each did a back flip and took there stance's once more. Each of them were now on full alert, but suddenly one of the 3 clones disappeared, and the other 2 began to move slugishly as if they were losing power. Kinoru continued to do the seals from his hidding spot

Once the two explosions went off Kaida took no time at all in preforming the seals to make more clones. Each of her clones had her weapons and were immeadiately put into action. Swinging kamas through the other ropes Kaida was released from her rope bound trap. Hitting the ground she pulled out two kunai in unison with her clones for there were three of them and she threw the kunai at the others sent her way. Knocking all but one away she and her clones moved forward. Her mind was reeling... where was their sensei and how were they to hold out against a group of ninjas with more experience than themselves....

girl: Forgotten Dance: Eternal Silence
*two of her clones each slide-tackled Kinoru's clones, knocking them off the ground, but before they could land, a quick flash was seen between them...one would have had its neck twisted and broken, while the other now displayed a gaping hole in its head...*
arrow Vs Kaida
woman: you brat, this time, I won't hold back...You're Dead!
*even though the kunais had been knocked to the ground, the tags were still useful, and with a quick hand seal, 3/4 of a dome of ropes poised themselves around Kaida...and with a second hand seal, the tips of the ropes became sharp spikes...and with the third, all of them sailed towards Kaida...any clones would have been pierced and destroyed...*
*a hand grabbed Kaida's shirt from behind and she was thrown backwards out through the gap in the dome and into safety...the ropes continued their course and upon hitting the body, a loud clanging sound was heard...one of the ropes hit the body in such a way that the headband was knocked off and sent flying...landing about 4 feet away from Kaida...it was the Konoha headband of Shunketsu...*

Kinoru sighed slightly as he finished the final seal. As he did 3 clones, the last of the one's he'd made earlier jumped out of the tree's, each throigh 3 windmill shuriken, one target each of the girls, weither they were a clone or not, Kinoru wasn't taking chances. The girls were binded tightly to the tree's, though they were only held there for about 5 seconds bwefore being released, but in that time Kinoru jumped out from beneath the ground and seemed to spit something at each the girls, though they wouldn't feel a thing. Kinoru then stood perfectly still and preformed a final seal "Oujuo Zamen no Jutsu" After Kinoru preformed this seal he didn't move a muscle, even if he tried anything, if the jutsu wasn't succesful, and even if it was he was likly to die. He had almost no chakra left, and unfortunatly the justu still had one fault, it needed time to take effect. He just needed to wait a little less than a minute before she would start to feel weak...

Kaida's face for the first time showed true fear as the ropes sailed towards her. Suddenly as she was pulled out of the dome of ropes she saw her sensei in a mear flash she watched his headband go flying away. Getting back up from where she had been flung backwards one could now see just how torn and burnt her clothes and skin were. She grabbed Maiko and the princess and stood in front of them in a defensive position. "Sensei!..."

The ropes would not find their target simply because the chakra sonar wouldn't disrupt the soil and unless the ropes had a mind of their own would not be able to follow the chakra flow. The technique was a combination of sound and chakra and unlike normal sonar this would go through the ground telling him the locations of certain targets. This would also inform Edge of where the ropes were if they intended to move and search for him.
Edge pondered how the enemy was recieving oxygen as he searched out for more information on the soil layout and rope networks.

((dun worry about it Edge, I'm not too much in the mood for anything but sleep right now...so everyone, please excuse me if you don't see posts too often...)) arrow Vs Edge *she was rather upset that her ropes didn't hone in on Edge the first time around...if he was underground, his chakra would have hit one set of ropes before another, at one point before another...that should have been enough for her to pinpoint him...at this rate, he was going to find her before she found him...* woman: dammit...if he finds it, i may be done for... *She concentrated more chakra into her ropes...the next bit of chakra that hit them would reveal Edge's location...even if it touches only a mere thread...* Byakugan Vision!! (Diagram)  arrow Vs Kinoru *the two clones that were tied up disappeared...but the real one was furious at being spat at...her last two clones were at angles 225 and 315 of Kinoru given that Kinoru faced 90 degrees...* girl: you'll pay for that! you big meanie! Final Dance: Life Cycle! *all three of them sent their whips at Kinoru, all three whips flying forward as if it was more of a spear than a whip...the beginning was to disable his movement by sending one through his legs...making up the middle of the assault was one aimed for his arms, disabling future jutsu...and the final strike was one aimed for his heart...aiming to end his life...if he did not find a way to get out of this attack...he'd better be hoping her aim was off...* arrow Vs Kaida Woman: hmm...Tenrai Kanshou...then it must be you...Shunketsu... *Shunketsu was standing pretty calmly amidst the spikes...each one stopping less then a millimeter above his skin...* Shunketsu: ya know...you could have just told my students that there was an agreement and they were to head directly to Ramengakure instead of the capital... Woman: do you think that brat would have believed me? let alone having Kohana believe me? capturing them and taking them to the village would have had less talking involved... Shunketsu: it wouldn't hurt to try...it would've been better than starting a war by killing my student... Woman: I...forgot about that... sweatdrop ...well! she started it! mad Shunketsu: now, if you don't mind, call off the barrage of spikes... Woman: fine... *the ropes retreated back to the talismans...* *Shunketsu turned to Kaida and Kohana* Kohana: Shunketsu-san, what is the meaning of this? Shunketsu: you knew your father couldn't hold out forever...you should have seen this coming...faced with the news that his daughter may be in danger...he forced Tempuragakure into a rematch with Ramengakure...the match will be held 3 days upon the return of his daughter...there's no point in protecting your father's pride...he's already given it up... Kohana: but...why didn't you just allow your students to take me to the capital? Shunketsu: did you think Tempuragakure is happy about such a thing? Assassins will be after you...they'll make it so that it'd seem like Ramengakure nin killed you by mistake...if you do not return to the capital, there is no rematch...Ramengakure will be the safest place for you to return to first... *Shunketsu turned to Kaida* Shunketsu: neh...if she were really attacking you...you did well...you selflessly defended them...I'm proud of ya...now...I hope Kinoru and Edge didn't get into as much of a bind as you... ((sorry Kaida if the story took a turn that seemed like it came outta nowhere...but everything is going according to plan...I needed you to perform a certain task before I allowed the story to truly continue...and you did...yay...))
