Wynter Wynter blinked twice at the kitny. Wait what? There was someone that was worse than Josef? That was a surprise to say the least, she thought the dude was pretty ******** up. Still, she didn't exactly doubt Zuni's word, after all, she experienced them both first hand, right?
"That's... Wow. I'll take your word for that then." She replied, her gaze wandering around the kitchen. She couldn't help but feel awkward about this whole conversation, because normally when Wynter actually tried make conversation, it was for her own selfish needs. Like if she needed something from them, either something physical or verbal. Although she wasn't going to lie, this was a nice upgrade from that.
"I'd be genuinely surprised is it wasn't completely rigged. Hell, in all honesty, judgement in general is ********. I guess when you look at it, you're judged on your actions in life, right? If judgement was really "fair", everyone would be given the same situation and the same hardships. Some people are doomed from the ******** start to go to hell, while other get these perfect little lives where they grow old and have kids and then die peacefully in their own homes. It's bullshit."
Wynter sighed softly after, her gaze returning to the floor.
"I guess I'm not saying what I did was "right", it ******** wasn't, but you know if I had some shitty obstacles taken out from my life, maybe things would have... I dunno, turned out better. If that makes sense I guess..." She trailed off, the corner of her mouth twitching into a frown.

Zuni
The demoness nodded.
"Sometimes, it just comes down to you, or them, and we have to fight for our lives. The Angels can kill to defend themselves, and it's 'righteous'. I got sent to Hell for it." Zuni shook her head, standing back up straight and crossing her arms across her chest. "Yeah, what I did was wrong too... but if I had to do it over again with the same outcome, I would do it over again in a heart beat. If I hadn't defended myself, I'd have been dead before I even hit my teens. I didn't want to do it... but we're all animals in the end; we have to fight to survive."
She sighed for a third time. "Being pre-disposed to a shitty life, and what not, kinda makes it hard.... I'm pretty sure most of those angels had easier lives, they never had to fight someone to survive on Earth. Like the two females... They're soft. Not saying that's bad, but... they've never had to make the hard decisions... they probably have never had to fight..."
"I think if their lives had been more unfortunate, they might exactly like us." Zuni paused, "Well, not like Jun or Josef.... but the lesser evil demons, like you, me, and... Nifty..." She hated adding that last part, since she didn't like Nifty at all, but she couldn't classify her as evil per-say. "Maybe even that Wraith guy."

Wynter Wynter thought for a moment, finding she completely agreed. Kisa and Prism just... didn't find the need to fight because they had never had to fight like that before. It was something she was slightly jealous of, but at the same time, she enjoyed that she wasn't or hadn't been a naive little thing that people took advantage of. Well, she was at one point in her life, but luckily she made her own choice to stop trusting people before they could lose her trust at a younger age. It saved her a lot of misery.
Wynter looked from Zuni to the floor again. Right, Zuni only killed in self defense, that made things easier in a way. Wynter was ******** though, because even if she only took one, that one life was taken out of hatred and the desire to end their life. It was downright murder, no other way to put it.
The silver eyed demon hopped off the counter, throwing the banana peels away and cleaning some of her mess up. She had a feeling the angels would ban her from the kitchen in she pigged out and left the place all trashed, and she wasn't willing to give up free access to this food any time soon.
"Huh, maybe they would by like us. Pretty sure neither of us are super evil, Nifty's just... I don't even know honestly. That Wraith kid is just ******** paranoid, like someone's going to beat him within an inch of his life without his weapon. Can't say I blame him though, gotta be on your guard down here at all times, but jesus he had a ******** meltdown when Nifty tagged him earlier." Wynter really wasn't sure about him though. Something about him was just... off.
"Anyways, just some conspiracy theories for thought I suppose." She smiled a little, glad she wasn't the only one who questioned things around here.

Josef
"Hoooo? Did you want to spar in the combat quarters out back? I recently lost a round so I might be a little bit rusty for you. So maybe you can put meaning behind those words and 'teach me' a lesson. Unless you want another bit of your side bitten off again, as well as part of your.... inner boulder and rock growths cracked. Have you recovered since then? Because I had more than recovered my head that you bashed in."
To emphasize his point, he uses his hand as a fist to knock on his head a little bit, smiling the whole way.
"I know demons have a varying degree of regeneration, but the condition you left me in last.... I thought I was done for. However the same could be said to you as well couldn't it? You always take fights that you know you can win, and even the fight you took with me, you didn't win it fully and I bet that REALLY pisses you off. Probably why you haven't picked a fight with me SINCE then."
Josef slowly walks up to him, his grin widening and his head tilting to show his mental stability slipping, his eyes begin to glow and drool pools at the corner of his mouth, slowly flowing downwards, hot air being let out with each breath he exhales showing his excitement.
"Only YOU gave me the fight that I craved in all existence, since I have tasted that I NEEED it. I need it again. The JOY of just going all out, using the best of your ability to just survive the next assault of seconds, the next assault and move that your opponent takes. That is what it means to exist! That's what it means to be alive! Because I live for that drive they have condemned me! They called me evil but all I did was allow my instincts to DRIVE ME EVERY SECOND OF MY LIFE!...."
Panting, he hugs himself, reliving the battle he had with Jun, remembering every drop of blood he spilled and spilled from himself.
"Delicious, delectable, UNFATHOMABLE JOY PERMEATES FROM MY SOUL. ahahahaha..... I live..... for every second of this joy. THIS IS WHAT REMINDS ME THAT EVERYTHING IS WORTH IT!"

Jun
Jun grunted in annoyance, one arm on his side and the other hanging down casually. He couldn't say that he disagreed with Josef's over all ranting--He too loved brawling. There was nothing better than putting someone in their place. That, and the hefty reward afterwards, which usually included territory, property, money, etc. And no one could forget the status. The status of being in power, and all the small little worms crying for mercy underneath the ones in power. It was always a rush. Battle was a way of life down here. And only the strongest got to stay in power.
However, the battle with Josef secretly made him livid. He never lost. Never. Technically he didn't lose, per-say, it was in fact a draw. A tie. But he hated that truth. He couldn't lie--Josef was one of the very few people down here that he knew he probably couldn't beat. And Jun hated him for it. He definitely wasn't scared of Josef, but he was forced to admit that they were equals. And a King did not want to share such a status. But, at the very least, it was a good thing they weren't fighting over the same throne. They were Archdemon leaders of different planes. They didn't have to fight over one single throne. Otherwise, the two high ranking demons would probably unravel existence of Hell itself killing everyone, everything, and each other in their path to get the singular King's seat.
Keeping a very straight poker face, almost too straight, Jun let out an annoyed sigh like he was listening to a fly buzz in his ear.
"Yeah yeah yeah. As much as I would love to tear this place apart trying to kill you in a spar, I doubt that would go over well. If you really want to spar me you'll have to make it more inciting than that. You want to wager Zuni? Even I have to admit, I miss ******** her."
Zuni nod, definitely agreeing with Wynter. She didn't like making judgments on people, but it was necessary to survive. Especially because it was an animal drive to avoid dangerous beings. Like Josef for example...
The kitny's long, furry ear twitched, over hearing some crazy words coming from the dining hall. It was Josef's voice. And then soon after, Jun's. Talking about her. AGAIN.
Her ears snapped backwards and she grit her teeth in anger. Listening to him talk about her was just infuriating. It really grinded Zuni's gears. Josef drove her insane. He abused her, too. But he was actually clinically insane, and pretty much just acted like an animal. Jun was animal-like, too... however he was also incredibly sexist. And it infuriated her to hear him even say her name, because lewd commentary always followed. Josef at least didn't ******** BLURT IT OUT LOUD IN PUBLIC SO EVERYONE COULD HEAR.
Zuni closed her eyes, and let out a very angry, shuddery breath, trying to exhale her rage and keep herself from going out there and trying to punch him in the ******** mouth. One, because... y'know... angels are watching... and two, she knew he would beat the utter living piss out of her. Josef and Jun brought out the worst in her, and it was a living HELL for her because of one fact she hated admitting: they were stronger than her, and they always would be.
Back on Earth she always found a way to hold her own. She might have been a female on the street. People may have under estimated her. People saw her as an easy target most of the time. But she could fight with the best of them. She knew how to get the upper hand in a scuffle, so she won plenty of battles, even against large men that should have been able to over power her.
But down here? She was like a puny little mouse that was hand-picked by a huge alpha lion to be their toy. And no matter how many times she had tried to fight them, and get away, she always... always... ALWAYS lost... And it had taken her years to finally give up. Sure, she still hated them. She still resisted them. She still made things difficult. But, Zuni had stopped fighting her hardest, she avoided pushing her luck to the point of being in a physical fight with them. Now she had to be all talk, a little bit of bite, but ultimately if they pushed back, and pushed her down, she would have to give in. Full on fighting was pointless, some how, some way, they always got what they demanded in the end. All she did was endure way more pain if she pissed them off. However, she couldn't keep her mouth shut sometimes. So instead, now, she just mouthed off and pushed away until she saw a warning sign. And then she would shut the ******** up. Being pissed off was better than being pissed off and crippled.
Zuni was quiet again, silently listening to the conversation going on out there, still keeping a lid on her rage. God, would she love to kill that piece of s**t, Jun. She could endure eons in Hell with Josef if it meant that scum was finally erased from existence.

Wynter Wynter turned her gaze towards the kitchen door, her face utterly disgusted as she listened to the faintly audible conversation going on outside. That was just... disgusting. On a whole other LEVEL disgusting. The guy had no shame talking about Zuni in such a filthy way, which kinda pissed her off. Even looking back over at the kitny, she saw the utter rage on her face. Yeah, no kidding, Wynter would beat the s**t out of whoever talked like that about her, like some ******** object being passed around. It completely grossed her out.
"What a ******** douchebag..." Wynter muttered, before stuffing two green apples in her sweater pockets for later. She looked to Zuni again, frowning a little. It wasn't like she could help her exactly, but she felt like s**t for not doing anything either. How did she feel as days went on and no one could do anything for her? How did she manage it? Wynter would crumble in a matter of seconds, she would give up, too weak to do s**t. Yeah, she talked big and didn't have a filter, but she knew how utterly pathetic she really was. She drank her issues away, ran from them, she couldn't deal with it. It was easier to just try to forget and become an empty shell of sadness and booze.
"You wanna get away for a bit? With their bickering, I'm sure they aren't paying attention to much else. The hotel's pretty big, lots of hiding places besides the kitchen." Wynter offered a bit hesitantly. Zuni looked like she was just going to ******** EXPLODE any second, so maybe getting away would prevent a whole other shitshow, and she wasn't sure she could stomach the topic of Jun and Josef's bickering much longer. Literally made her want to puke her guts out.
"If you're lucky, they'll start fighting and maybe kill each other in the process, Sounds like win-win to me."
Plus, I'd hate to just dip out and leave her by herself. Not that she'd get lonely or whatever, I just know I would have liked someone to take me away from my chaos, even if it was just for a few minutes. I hated when people didn't even bat an eye at what s**t was done to me. (That's okay! I understand! ^^)

Josef Verruckt
"If you want me to wager that, then it would be a fight to the death, not a simple spar."
Josef instantly gets serious at the mere mention of wagering Zuni away. He is NEVER going to let her slip away. Never. The only way he will ever let that happen is if he doesn't exist anymore or get severely beaten to the point he cannot pursue her ever again and at that point he will wish he was dead.
"So what executive suite do you have cooked up for him..... Ahhh..... Odstarva?"
His eyes turn to the Archangel, all of a sudden thinking of challenging the might of him. For some reason, it felt right to issue a challenge. The issue though is that he doesn't want to be kicked out so the challenging part is.... going to be challenging.

Zuni
Zuni sighed, crossing her arms across her chest. It was impossible not to get angry. But it didn't do her any good, either.
She nodded once. "Yeah.... Let's bounce."
That sounded so weird to say. She almost always preferred to be alone. IN fact, she relished in it. She normally wanted nothing to do with other people. But for once she saw someone who reminded her of her present self. Bitter. Angry. Just trying to live their existence in Hell as peacefully as possible, but no one would leave them the ******** alone. Maybe sticking around someone she didn't mind would be better. That was just a strange concept.
Not like she's my friend or anything. But it's... weird... not instantly disliking someone. Especially when I dislike 'nice' people, too. This is a first....
"That would be nice if they both just killed each other. Two birds with one stone. Those two almost accomplished that... but their regeneration abilities make that nearly impossible..." That would be a dream come true. Seriously.
Zuni gave her a look that seemed to express "this way", with a directional nod of her head towards the other kitchen exit on the other side. She short cutted to the hallway, and started walking down it with her tail bouncing behind her.
"Where should we go? The only place I don't really hate is the garden, but it's kind of a dead end if one of those ******** finds us there."
That, and her hidey hole in one of the janitor closets under the stair case to the second floor rooms.
Odstarva Mourneblade had been watching the two Archdemons like a hawk. The moment Josef looked at him, he was already locking eyes with him. He was glaring, and holding his blade at the ready the entire time they were bantering.
These two are going to be a HUGE problem. Are they SERIOUSLY going to kill each other over just some... GIRL? Pathetic. Mighty Archdemons bickering over a female like school boys. I want to laugh... but this can really turn out to be a major safety issue if we don't do something...
He mentally sighed within himself, still holding his weapon.
"It's just a bigger suite. Don't go asking for one of your own. They're only for people working to help run the program."
Was all he said, still watching them both.
I can see why that Zuni girl wants into Heaven so bad... Having these two pieces of work faun over her sounds like something I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy, with the exception of these two.
"Let's move it along. If you two aren't here in the dining hall to eat breakfast then you can promptly exit. Either shut up and eat, or leave."
(( I can't wait to see you! ♥ ))

Wynter Wynter looked once behind her at the main entrance to the kitchen, giving an almost mocking look towards the conversation she was hearing from both the demon lords and the archangel.
Have fun sorting that out on your own. No need to stay and listen, we all know it's going to end up in ******** flames. She thought, before following after the kitny out of the kitchen and down into the hallway. She shoved her hands into her jacket pockets, thinking for a long moment.
"Well, public places are a definite no. At least the really public ones. When you think about it, if they come looking, they check the public places first. Then they check the lesser obvious places, like closets or the kitchen for example. But, if we hide in the places the automatically rule out, we're golden. I think we should bust into a random hotel room. Honestly, if they're that desperate to find you immediately, they'll have to open each and every room, which is time consuming." Wynter wasn't exactly a logical thinker when it came to social situations, but when it came to not wanting to be found, she was pretty alright at thinking her way through that. She spent most of her life not wanting to be found, as sad as that was.
Why am I doing this? The question she asked herself caught her off guard. She bit the inside of her cheek as she thought of answers to give herself. I'm just helping someone out, who knows, maybe she'll pay me back somehow. This isn't out of the sheer kindness in my heart. I'm not making friends or anything. Strictly for my own benefit
"I'm pretty sure I'm still good with locks." (Same here! Just a few more days and I'll be in town!)

Zuni
Zuni shook her head as they were walking down the hall, feeling somehow more annoyed that Odstarva was having to attempt in shutting those two up. The Archdemons were acting like gorillas trying to see who could flex harder and show off more muscle. They might as well have been thrashing their fists against their chests and grunting like animals too. It would be a wish come true if they would both just kill each other....
She nodded once in agreement. "Yeah, good plan." Zuni said, un-zipping her jacket a little bit. "Although eventually Josef will find me, he has a keen sense of smell... he tracks me like a dog.... Jun has animal instinct, too... so keep that in mind if you're ever trying to hide from them..." She meant this as a matter-of-fact, because it was true. The only way to really hide from those two freaks was to find a deep dark hole, crawl into it, and then completely encase oneself so they couldn't smell. That, or hide somewhere really, really stinky, so the smell would overpower any scent to track.
"Locks aren't a problem for me, either... especially since these angels don't exactly have the highest tech locks on these hotel room doors..."
Which room should they pick, though?

Demitrious Von Varibon Reseria
Jolting up screaming, he turns his head around rapidly trying to find the threat that beat him into submission. After feeling up his body, his breathing begins to go back to normal instead of fast tracking into hyperventilation mode.
"Where am I, who saved my life. Why am I still alive?"
His face full of fear and anguish, he still continues looking for Jun.

Wynter The corner of Wynter's lips irked into a frown. So, hiding wasn't a great solution for future reference. That just made them both even creepier. She brushed her gradient hair from her eyes, thinking for a long moment.
"Well, might as well buy as much time for you before they start looking. Hopefully you get more than ten minutes. ******** psychopaths." She mumbled the last part before now thinking of what room they would slip into. Well, going near one of anyone else's rooms wouldn't be good. Maybe they could just go to the top floor? The locks seemed simple enough that they could literally pick any unoccupied room.
Wynter heard something about the suite rooms for the people working in the program or whatever. The place wasn't exactly fully staffed, so there would be empty rooms, right? She wouldn't mind chilling in an extra nice room, even just for a little bit.
"Let's go to the top floor. I think they have nicer rooms up there. As long as we don't trash it, can't really get in huge trouble, right?"

Josef
After being scolded by the archangel, Josef gives out a long drawn out sigh.
"Man you always have to be a downer on the fun don't you? Buzzkill."
With another sigh and a stretch, he gets up and begins walking towards the kitchen.
"I am going to get Zuni, take her to the room and sit her down and talk about the future. I will let you two exchange pleasantries since you both are so keen on each other. Enjoy your lovers quarell. I figure you two have history as spicy as mine."
Josef strides past Odstarva and thinks for a couple seconds on patting his shoulder in a faux friendly manner, but thinks against it when he notices the weapon at his hip.
"Man, do you have to take everything so seriously?"

Zuni
"As long as they keep bickering, I might have hours." Zuni shrugged, sighing in annoyance. "And yeah, that sounds like a good idea. That's the last place anyone would look. They'll probably search floor by floor until they reach the top."
Was it just Zuni, or was it kind of douchey they had extra nice rooms just sitting around going to waste? The staff got them... so that meant all the Angels. And now, of course, Jun. That was kind of dumb, especially because Zuni had to share a room with Josef.... being crammed in a studio hotel room with him was really irritating, there was literally no room to get away from him. It fit one Queen sized bed, a tiny desk, a small TV, a place to hang coats, a bathroom with a tub, and that was about it. No kitchen or kitchenette. No real closet. No couch or other furniture to be named. It was basic.
Given, Zuni wasn't about to complain since it was much better than being out... there. The fiery reins of Hell outside were pretty abysmal lately. Demons and devils were rioting and half the town was almost always on fire. It was dirty. Trash and old used needles and other pleasantries were all over the streets. A bunch of homeless freaks wandered the walkways, asking for free drugs, alcohol, or other sinful things. Prostitutes, especially nasty ones, ran amok looking for work. You couldn't go anywhere without being harassed. Add walking next to an Archdemon on top of that... let's just say they got a lot of attention put on themselves. At least most people feared Josef, and didn't pick a fight... but it never stopped them from creeping around trying to get free s**t from a rich Archdemon.
But... seriously? These Angels were so high and mighty. They got nicer rooms... but why Jun? He was such a piece of s**t. It really pissed her off he got the royal treatment.
I wonder if he is really even here just to keep an eye on this place. He doesn't usually obey the council of Archdemons. I'll bet he volunteered to do it, otherwise I feel like a less powerful Archdemon would have been sent for the job... Usually he's on the front lines killing. Not playing babysitter.
After going to the top floor and breaking into a room that looked like it had not been opened recently, Zuni walked in with Wynter and took a look at what was inside.
"Whoa...."
She breathed out, as the room was easily TEN times the size of the room everyone else was staying in in the lower floors. There was a large kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, closets, a small sized living room with a big TV, and plenty of nice furniture littered the area.
"Wow. Now that's just.... excessive...."
The kitny pointed out, as she walked into the kitchen and looked around in the cabinets, and found a huge stash of beer in the fridge.
"What the ********... seriously?" Zuni scoffed, pulling out a cold beer from the fridge. "Now that's just hypocritical of the Angels to supply this s**t..."
She looked to Wynter, "Hey, how'z your withdrawal going? You could take some of this and I bet they wouldn't even notice, look how much is in here... geezes..." Zuni paused, and then suddenly let out a small laugh. "Oh, I get it. I'll bet this is Jun's room... they probably had to supply the supervising Archdemon with whatever they demanded... I guess it's probably safe to say not every Angel's room is like this.... but still..."
Zuni started curiously examining the rest of the rooms, seeing what kind of good food there was.... maybe she could swipe a few things before Jun got up here. He probably wouldn't notice.
