Tenzo was ordered to kill Kakashi because Danzo was obsessed with collecting sharingan eyes. Kakashi was going to turn Tenzo in to the Hokage for trying to kill a shinobi of the leaf village under Danzo's orders.

The story went on where the first Hokage stated that before the leaf village ever existed, the senju clan and the uchiha have always been bitter enemies. It was when Hashirama (the first hokage) met Madara for the first few times felt that Madara might be different. Hashirama's father ordered Hashirama to spy on Madara and if Madara was to oppose the idea, that Hashirama was to kill Madara. For Madara was a Uchiha and Hashirama was a senju. It appeared that no matter what ideals that Hashirama had, it was not going to happen.

The story continued where after the leaf village was formed, Madara claimed that he has chosen a different path, just as Tobirama the second Hokage predicted. Madara and Hoshirama fight for the sake of the village. Hoshirama to protect it and Madara to destroy it.
